Blessed Are Those Who Find Wisdom

Blessed are those who find wisdom, those who gain understanding - Proverbs 3:13.

God's Wisdom

The wisdom of God is pure, peaceable, gentle and full of good fruits. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy - James 3:17. In whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge - Colossians 2:3.

 Ask God for wisdom

Let us ask God for wisdom. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him - James 1:5. For the Lord gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding - Proverbs 2:6. For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding - Proverbs 2:6.

Let us ask wisdom from God who gives to all generously. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom - Proverbs 1:7. When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with the humble is wisdom - Proverbs 11:2 Know also that wisdom is like honey for you: If you find it, there is a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off - Proverbs 24:14. I thank and praise you, God of my ancestors: You have given me wisdom and power - Daniel 2:23.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for giving us wisdom. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Make The Most of Every Opportunity To Share Christ With Others

Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity - Colossians 4:5.

With gentleness and respect, keeping a clear conscience

God wants us always to be prepared to give the reason for the hope that we have to everyone with gentleness, respect and keeping a clear conscience. But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander - 1 Peter 3:15,16.

Conversation be always full of grace

We will know how to answer everyone and say the right thing at right time to right person as we guard our speech and our conversation is always full of grace. Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone - Colossians 4:5, 6. Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen - Ephesians 4:29.

Let us be wise and make the most of every opportunity to share Christ. Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is - Ephesians 5:15-17. But as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, even so we speak, not as pleasing men, but God who tests our hearts - 1 Thessalonians 2:4.

How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things! - Romans 10:15.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us be wise and make the most of every opportunity to share about You. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

In The Morning My Prayer Comes Before You

But I cry to you for help, Lord; in the morning my prayer comes before you - Psalm 88:13.

God hears us as we seek Him and pray in the early morning. In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly - Psalm 5:3.Those that seek me early shall find me - Proverbs 8:17. O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You In a dry and thirsty land Where there is no water - Psalm 63:1.

God's mercies are new every morning  and so let us sing aloud His mercies in the morning. Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness - Lamentations 3:22,23. But I will sing of Your power; Yes, I will sing aloud of Your mercy in the morning; For You have been my defense and refuge in the day of my trouble. To You, O my Strength, I will sing praises; For God is my defense, My God of mercy - Psalm 59:16,17.

Jesus prayed very early in the morning. Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed - Mark 1:35. Abraham and David sought God in the early morning. And Abraham went early in the morning to the place where he had stood before the Lord - Genesis 19:27. I rise before the dawning of the morning, And cry for help; I hope in Your word - Psalm 119:147.

Let our prayer come before God early in the morning. It is good to give thanks to the Lord, And to sing praises to Your name, O Most High; To declare Your lovingkindness in the morning, And Your faithfulness every night - Psalm 92:1,2. In the morning my spirit longs for you - Isaiah 26:9. Every day I will bless you and praise your name forever and ever - Psalm 145:2.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, In the morning let our prayer come before you. Let us praise You and seek You early in the morning. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

We Are Fearfully And Wonderfully Made

I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made - Psalm 139:14.

We are the salt of the earth

You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men - Matthew 5:13.

We are the light of the world

You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven - Matthew 5:14-16.

We are the chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation & God's own special people

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light - 1 Peter 2:9.

We are more valuable

Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? - Matthew 6:26.

But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows - Luke 12:7.

Consider the ravens, for they neither sow nor reap, which have neither storehouse nor barn; and God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds? - Luke 12:24.

Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows - Matthew 10:31.

We are the children of God

Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! - 1 John 3:1.

We are the sons of God

For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus - Galatians 3:26.

you may be sons of your Father in heaven - Matthew 5:45.

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God - Romans 8:14.

We are the witnesses

But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth - Acts 1:8.

We are God’s workmanship

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them - Ephesians 2:10.

We are more than conquerors

Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us - Romans 8:37.

PRAYER:Dear Lord, We thank You and praise You for we are fearfully and wonderfully made. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Spiritual Growth

But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity - 2 Peter 3:18.

Ephesians 4:15-16

Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.

Colossians 1:10

For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.

2 Timothy 3:16-17

All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.

Colossians 1:9

And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding.

2 Peter 1:5-8

For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love. For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they keep you from being ineffective or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Galatians 5:22-23

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.

 2 Timothy 3:16-17

All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.

Romans 12:1-2

I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

Colossians 3:2

Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.

 James 1:4

And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.

Matthew 6:33

But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

James 4:8

Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

Colossians 2:6-7

Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.

1 Thessalonians 3:12

And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love for one another and for all, as we do for you.

Colossians 3:16

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.

Philippians 1:6

And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us grow more in the grace and knowledge of You. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

All nations whom You have made shall come and worship before You, O Lord, and shall glorify                                                                                                                   Your name - Psalm 86:9.

The Lord Who Makes A Way

The Lord, who makes a way in the sea And a path through the mighty waters - Isaiah 43:16.

Our God is a way maker. Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness. And rivers in the desert - Isaiah 43:18,19.

God Made a Way Through the Red Sea

Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the Lord caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea into dry land, and the waters were divided. So the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea on the dry ground, and the waters were a wall to them on their right hand and on their left - Exodus 14:21-22. But the children of Israel had walked on dry land in the midst of the sea, and the waters were a wall to them on their right hand and on their left  - Exodus 14:29.

God Made a Way in the Fiery Furnace

Then King Nebuchadnezzar was astonished; and he rose in haste and spoke, saying to his counselors, “Did we not cast three men bound into the midst of the fire?” They answered and said to the king, “True, O king.”“Look!” he answered, “I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.”- Daniel 3:24, 25.

God Made a Way Through Prison Doors

But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were loosed - Acts 16:25-26.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are the Lord who makes a way in the sea and a path through the mighty waters, a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. We thank You for making a way in our life. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

The Lord Remembers Us And Will Bless Us

The Lord remembers us and will bless us - Psalm 115:12.

God who formed us and numbered the very hairs of our head will never forget us. He remembers us and blesses us. Remember these, O Jacob, And Israel, for you are My servant; I have formed you, you are My servant; O Israel, you will not be forgotten by Me! - Isaiah 44:21. Are not five sparrows sold for two copper coins? And not one of them is forgotten before God. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows - Luke 14:6,7.

Rachel

God remembered Rachel, listened to her, took away her reproach and blessed her with Joseph. Then God remembered Rachel, and God listened to her and opened her womb. And she conceived and bore a son, and said, “God has taken away my reproach.” So she called his name Joseph, and said, “The Lord shall add to me another son.” - Genesis 30:22-24. The Lord remembers us and will bless us - Psalm 115:12.

Hannah

God remembered Hannah, answered her prayer,  took away her affliction and blessed her with Samuel. And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed to the Lord and wept in anguish. Then she made a vow and said, “O Lord of hosts, if You will indeed look on the affliction of Your maidservant and remember me, and not forget Your maidservant, but will give Your maidservant a male child, then I will give him to the Lord all the days of his life, and no razor shall come upon his head - 1 Samuel 1:10,11. And Elkanah knew Hannah his wife, and the Lord remembered her. So it came to pass in the process of time that Hannah conceived and bore a son, and called his name Samuel, saying, “Because I have asked for him from the Lord.” - 1 Samuel 1:19,20.

Let us thank God who remembers us and blesses us. Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you. See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me - Isaiah 49:15,16. Who remembered us in our lowly state, For His mercy endures forever - Psalm 136:23.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You and praise You for remembering us and blessing us. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

My Help Comes From The Lord

I will lift up my eyes to the hills- From whence comes my help?  My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth - Psalm 121:1,2.

God is the help for all who fear Him and wait upon Him. You who fear the LORD, trust in the LORD; He is their help and their shield - Psalm 115:11.   Our soul waits for the LORD; He is our help and our shield - Psalm 33:20.  Our help is in the name of the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth - Psalm 124:8. Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God - Psalm 146:5. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble - Psalm 46:1.  No one can help us like our God. Give us help from trouble, for the help of man is useless - Psalm 60:11.

God is our Helper and so there is no need to fear about anything. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” So we may boldly say: “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?” - Hebrews 13:5,6.  For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you - Isaiah 41:13. God is my helper - Psalm 54:4. Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand - Isaiah 41:10. But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you - John 14:26.

Let us thank God our Helper who helps us in all our situations. Then Samuel took a stone and set it up between Mizpah and Shen, and called its name Ebenezer, saying, “Thus far the Lord has helped us” - I Samuel 7:12. The LORD is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him." - Psalm 28:7. You make your saving help my shield, and your right hand sustains me; your help has made me great - Psalm 18:35.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are our helper and our help comes from You, the maker of heaven and earth. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Call Upon The Lord

God Who Strengthens Us

I can do all things through Him who strengthens me - Philippians 4:13.

Like deer

It is God who arms me with strength, And makes my way perfect. He makes my feet like the feet of deer, And sets me on my high places - Psalm 18:32,33.

The Sovereign Lord is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to tread on the heights - Habakkuk 3:19.

Like eagles

Like a wild ox

No good thing will He withhold From those who walk uprightly - Psalm 84:11.

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning - James 1:17.  He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? - Romans 8:32.

God gives us good things as we ask Him. If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him! - Matthew 7:11. If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you - James 1:5.

There is no lack to those who fear the Lord, seek Him and give to the poor.

Fear God

Fear the Lord, you his holy people, for those who fear him lack nothing  - Psalm 34:9.

Seek God

The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing - Psalm 34:10.

Give to the poor

Those who give to the poor will lack nothing - Proverbs 28:27.

Let us thank God our giver who withholds no good thing from us as we walk uprightly, fear Him, seek Him, ask Him and give to the poor. The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul - Psalm 23:1-3.
