Be persistent in prayer, and keep
alert as you pray, giving thanks to God - Colossians :2.
God wants us to pray persistently. Pray
without ceasing - 1 Thessalonians 5:17. He will never forsake those who seek Him.
And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; For You, Lord, have
not forsaken those who seek You - Psalm 9:10. The young lions lack and suffer
hunger; But those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing - Psalm 34:10.
A blind man cried out more to
Jesus to have mercy on him even though the crowd tried to silence him. Then
those who went before warned him that he should be quiet; but he cried out all
the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”- Luke 18:39. Let us keep on ask and
seek God’s mercies in our lives.
In
Acts 12, we see that the church prayed persistently all night for the release
of Peter from prison. Peter was therefore kept in prison, but constant prayer
was offered to God for him by the church - Acts 12:5. Believe that
nothing will be too hard for God to accomplish. Let us pray persistently till God acts.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to rejoice
always and pray persistently. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
