Abide - Ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you
I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples - John 15:5-8.
Believe- Ask in prayer, believing, you will receive whatever things you ask for
And when the disciples saw it, they marveled, saying, “How did the fig tree wither away so soon?” So Jesus answered and said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ it will be done. And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.” Matthew 21:18-22.
According to God's will - Ask anything according to His will
This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us - 1 John 5:14.
If you ask anything in My name, I will do it - John 14:14.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us ask everything in prayer by abiding, believing and asking according to Your will. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
If you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you - Matthew 17:20.
Nothing will be impossible for us if we have the faith as a mustard seed. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen - Hebrews 11:1. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God - Romans 10:17. Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God - John 11:40. And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith - Matthew 21:22. For we walk by faith, not by sight - 2 Corinthians 5:7.
Faith of a Canaanite woman
And behold, a woman of Canaan came from that region and cried out to Him, saying, “Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David! My daughter is severely demon-possessed.” But He answered her not a word - Matthew - Matthew 15:22,23. Then she came and worshiped Him, saying, “Lord, help me!” But He answered and said, “It is not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the little dogs.” And she said, “Yes, Lord, yet even the little dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table.” Then Jesus answered and said to her, “O woman, great is your faith! Let it be to you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed from that very hour - Matthew 15:25-28.
Faith of a woman who had a flow of blood for twelve years
Now a certain woman had a flow of blood for twelve years, and had suffered many things from many physicians. She had spent all that she had and was no better, but rather grew worse. When she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His garment. For she said, “If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well.” Immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of the affliction. And Jesus, immediately knowing in Himself that power had gone out of Him, turned around in the crowd and said, “Who touched My clothes?” But His disciples said to Him, “You see the multitude thronging You, and You say, ‘Who touched Me?’ ” And He looked around to see her who had done this thing. But the woman, fearing and trembling, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell down before Him and told Him the whole truth. And He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction.” - Mark 5: 25-34.
Faith of Bartimaeus
As He went out of Jericho with His disciples and a great multitude, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the road begging. And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” Then many warned him to be quiet; but he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” So Jesus stood still and commanded him to be called. Then they called the blind man, saying to him, “Be of good cheer. Rise, He is calling you.” And throwing aside his garment, he rose and came to Jesus. So Jesus answered and said to him, “What do you want Me to do for you?” The blind man said to Him, “Rabboni, that I may receive my sight.” Then Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the road - Mark 10:46-52.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us have faith as a mustard seed and walk by faith and not by sight as nothing will be impossible for us. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
