Sing To The Lord With Thanksgiving

Sing to the Lord with thanksgiving - Psalm 147:7. 

He has done marvelous things

Oh, sing to the Lord a new song! For He has done marvelous things; His right hand and His holy arm have gained Him the victory - Psalm 98:1. 

He has done excellent things

Sing to the Lord, For He has done excellent things - Isaiah 12:5.

He answered us

I will give You thanks, for You answered me; You have become my salvation - Psalm 118:20-21. 

He has triumphed gloriously 

I will sing to the Lord, for he has triumphed gloriously - Exodus 15:1.

I am helped

The Lord is my strength and my shield; My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, And with my song I will praise Him - Psalm 28:7.

Make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation

Oh come, let us sing to the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation! - Psalm 95:1.

                     Let us sing to the Lord with praises and thanksgiving for His wonderful acts in our life. It is good to give thanks to the Lord, to sing praises to your name, O Most High - Psalm 92:1. Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of all his wonderful acts - Psalm 105:2. He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God - Psalm 40:3. Oh, sing to the Lord a new song! Sing to the Lord, all the earth. Sing to the Lord, bless His name; Proclaim the good news of His salvation from day to day. Declare His glory among the nations, His wonders among all peoples. For the Lord is great and greatly to be praised - Psalm 96:2.  

               Then I will praise God’s name with singing, and I will honor him with                                                                          thanksgiving - Psalm 69:30. 

I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds. I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing the praises of your name, O Most High - Psalm 9:2. 

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us sing to You with praises and thanksgiving for all Your marvelous works in our life. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Rejoice At God's Word As One Who Finds Great Treasure

 I rejoice at Your word as one who finds great treasure - Psalm 119:162.

God’s Word is more valuable than our physical food

          Job said that He treasured the Word of God more than his physical food.

I have treasured the words of His mouth more than my necessary food -  Job 23:12.

God’s Word provides us joy and delight

         Jeremiah said that He ate God’s words and His words were joy and the delight of his heart.

Your words were found, and I ate them, and your words became to me a joy and the delight of my heart - Jeremiah 15:16.

God's Word is more valuable, sweeter and a lamp to feet and a light to path 

         David said that God's word is more valuable to him than gold and silver, sweeter to his mouth & a lamp to his feet and a light to his path. 

The law of Your mouth is better to me than thousands of coins of gold and silver - Psalm 119:72. 

How sweet are Your words to my taste, Sweeter than honey to my mouth! - Psalm 109:103.       

Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path - Psalm 119:105.

Long for God's Word like new born babies

         Peter said that we should long for God's Word like new born babies who are always hungry, and cry for milk constantly so that we may grow. 

Like newborn babies, long for the pure milk of the word, so that by it you may grow in respect to salvation - 1 Peter 2:2.

Live by God's Word

          Jesus said that our life should not be sustained by bread alone but by every Word of God.

Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God - Matthew 4:4. 

                                                                           

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us rejoice at Your Word and treasure Your Word more than anything in our life. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Hate Evil Love Good

Hate evil, love good - Amos 5:15. 

Hate what is evil

You who love the Lord, hate evil! - Psalm 97:10. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good - Romans 12:9. To fear the Lord is to hate evil - Proverbs 8:13. 

Depart from evil 

Depart from evil and do good - Psalm 34:14.

Seek good not evil

Seek good, not evil, that you may live. Then the Lord God Almighty will be with you, just as you say he is - Amos 5:14 .

Do not repay evil for evil

See that no one repays anyone evil for evil, but always seek to do good to one another and to everyone - 1 Thessalonians 5:15.

Do not imitate what is evil

Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. He who does good is of God, but he who does evil has not seen God - 3 John 1:11.

Do not seek evil

He who earnestly seeks good finds favor, But trouble will come to him who seeks evil - Proverbs 11:27.

Keep your tongue from evil

Keep your tongue from evil, and your lips from speaking deceit - Psalm 34:13. 

Overcome evil with good

Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good - Romans 12:21.

He Is Kind To The Ungrateful And Wicked

He is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful - Luke 6:36.  

             Our God is kind and merciful to the ungrateful and wicked. He wants us also to be kind, merciful and love our enemies just as He loved us while we were the enemies of of God. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him! For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!  - Romans 5:8-10.

Love your enemies, Do good, Bless & Pray - Do to others as you would have them do to you

                  But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. If someone slaps you on one cheek, turn to them the other also. If someone takes your coat, do not withhold your shirt from them. Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back. Do to others as you would have them do to you - Luke 6:27-31.

God will reward us -  Love your enemies & do good

                   If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners love those who love them. And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do that. And if you lend to those from whom you expect repayment, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners, expecting to be repaid in full. But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful - Luke 6:32-36.

                  If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat; if he is thirsty, give him water to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head, and the Lord will reward you - Proverbs 25:21,22. 

God will repay - Overcome evil with good

                 Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. Therefore “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; If he is thirsty, give him a drink; For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head.” Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.- Romans 12:17-21. 

                                                              

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are kind and merciful to the ungrateful and wicked. Change our heart and surround us by the power of Your love. Let us also love, do good, bless, pray, be kind and merciful to our enemies. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

God's Direction

                               A person’s steps are directed by the Lord - Proverbs 20:24.

              We will receive the direction of God in our life as we seek His guidance. Show me your ways, Lord, teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long - Psalm 25:4,5. The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives - Psalm 37:23. 

Jacob got the direction of God by offering sacrifices to God before his Journey to see Joseph in Egypt

So Israel took his journey with all that he had, and came to Beersheba, and offered sacrifices to the God of his father Isaac. Then God spoke to Israel in the visions of the night, and said, “Jacob, Jacob!” And he said, “Here I am.” So He said, “I am God, the God of your father; do not fear to go down to Egypt, for I will make of you a great nation there. I will go down with you to Egypt, and I will also surely bring you up again; and Joseph will put his hand on your eyes.” Then Jacob arose from Beersheba; and the sons of Israel carried their father Jacob, their little ones, and their wives, in the carts which Pharaoh had sent to carry him. So they took their livestock and their goods, which they had acquired in the land of Canaan, and went to Egypt, Jacob and all his descendants with him. His sons and his sons’ sons, his daughters and his sons’ daughters, and all his descendants he brought with him to Egypt - Genesis 46:1-7.

David got the direction of God by inquiring God before pursuing troops to rescue his family

So David inquired of the Lord, saying, “Shall I pursue this troop? Shall I overtake them?” And He answered him, “Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all.” - 1 Samuel 30:8. So David recovered all that the Amalekites had carried away, and David rescued his two wives. And nothing of theirs was lacking, either small or great, sons or daughters, spoil or anything which they had taken from them; David recovered all - 1 Samuel 30:18,19.  

          Let us seek God to direct us and follow His direction. Lead me and guide me - Psalm 31:3. I will direct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will direct you with My loving eye on you - Psalm 32:8.This is the way, walk in it,' when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left - Isaiah 30:21. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways - Psalm 91:11. And the Lord will guide you continually and satisfy your desire in scorched places and make your bones strong; and you shall be like a watered garden, like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail - Isaiah 58:11                                                                                 

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us seek Your guidance and follow Your direction in our life. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

God of Peace

Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen - Romans 15:33.  

                Our God is the God of peace who gives us peace. Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid - John 14:27. He made peace with us through His blood on the cross. We have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ - Romans 5:1. By Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross - Colossians 1:20. 

Perfect peace - Trust God

You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You -  Isaiah 26:3. 

Great peace - Love God's Word

Great peace have those who love your law; nothing can make them stumble - Psalm 119:165.

              God's peace will rule and guard our hearts, our sleep and home as we trust Him and love His Word. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful - Colossians 3:15. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus - Philippians 4:7. In peace I will both lie down and sleep; for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety - Psalm 4:8. Peace be within your walls, Prosperity within your palaces - Psalm 122:7. 

             Let us thank our God of peace who gives us peace always and in every way like a river. May the LORD bless his people with peace! - Psalm 29:11. Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river - Isaiah 66:12. Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way. The Lord be with you all - II Thessalonians 3:1.

Be Still Before The Lord

Be still before the Lord, all mankind - Zechariah 2:13. 

Be still, and know that I am God - Psalm 46:10.

In quietness and in confidence shall be your strength - Isaiah 30:14.

Stand still and consider the wondrous works of God - Job 37:14.

Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still - Exodus 14:13,14.

Be angry, and do not sin. Meditate within your heart on your bed, and be still - Psalm 4:4. 

But I have calmed and quieted my soul, like a weaned child with its mother; like a weaned child is my soul within me - Psalm 131:2.

Now therefore stand still and see this great thing that the Lord will do before your eyes - 1 Samuel 12:16.

Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways when they carry out their wicked schemes - Psalm 37:7.

You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem!’ Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them, for the Lord is with you - 2 Chronicles 20:17.

For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from him. He only is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be shaken - Psalm 62:5,6.

Teach me, and I will be silent - Job 6:24.

I will take my stand at my watchpost and station myself on the tower, and look out to see what he will say to me - Habakkuk 2:1.

But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint - Isaiah 40:31.

But the Lord is in his holy temple; let all the earth keep silence before him - Habakkuk 2:20.

Rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer - Romans 12:12.

Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord! - Psalm 27:14.

The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, To the soul who seeks Him. It is good that one should hope and wait quietly For the salvation of the Lord - Lamentations 3:25, 26.

Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! - Psalm 46:10.

Walk In Love

             Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma - Ephesians 5:1,2.               

                        Love comes from God as He loved us and gave Himself for us. Therefore, we are also ought to love one another in the same way. Let us love one another, for love comes from God - 1 John 4:7. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another - 1 John 4:11. 

God showed His love among us by sending his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him

This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins - 1 John 4:9,10. 

God demonstrated His own love towards us as Christ died for us while we were still sinners

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us - Romans 5:8.

Holy Spirit pours out God's love

The love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us - Romans 5:5.

Born of God & knows God

Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love - 1 John 4:7,8.

God lives in us

No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us - 1 John 4:12.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life - John 3:16.

                                                                                                                     

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us walk in love and love one another like how You loved us and gave Yourself for us. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

In All Circumstances

Give thanks in all circumstances - 1 Thessalonians 5:18. 

Give thanks

Always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ - Ephesians 5:20. I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise will continually be in my mouth - Psalm 34:1.

Pray to God

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus - Philippians 4:6-7.

Choose to rejoice in God

Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in God my Savior - Habakkuk 3:17-18.

Find strength in God

The Lord God is my strength; He will make my feet like deer’s feet, And He will make me walk on my high hills.- Habakkuk 3:19. The LORD is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation - Psalm 118:14.

Walk By Faith Without Fear And Not By Sight

For we walk by faith, not by sight - 2 Corinthians 5:7.  

                   There was a great windstorm and waves beat into the boat that Jesus was with the disciples. And a great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was already filling. But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him, “Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?” - Mark4:37,38.           

                The wind ceased and there was a great calm when Jesus rebuked the wind and said to the sea “Peace,  be still!”. Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace,  be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm - Mark 4:39. For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast - Psalm 33:9.

                Seeing the great windstorms and waves, the disciples were so fearful because of the lack of faith even though Jesus was with them in the same boat. But He said to them, “Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?” And they feared exceedingly, and said to one another, “Who can this be, that even the wind and the sea obey Him!”  - Mark 4:40,41.

              Let us walk by faith without fear and not by what we see. But without faith it is impossible to please Him - Hebrews 11:6. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind - 2 Timothy 1:7. For we walk by faith, not by sight - 2 Corinthians 5:7.                                                                                              

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us not fear about anything. Help us to walk by faith and not by sight. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Get rid of all bitterness

Get rid of all bitterness - Ephesians 4:31.       

We will fail to obtain the grace of God        

              Bitterness is poisonous when we allow to grow in our heart and we will fail to obtain the grace of God. When bitterness root grows, it causes trouble to us and corrupts many. Look after each other so that none of you fails to receive the grace of God. Watch out that no poisonous root of bitterness grows up to trouble you, corrupting many - Hebrews 12:15.

Bitterness hinders our prayer

          We cannot receive anything in prayer when we have bitterness in our heart by holding grudge against anyone. I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours. But when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your sins, too - Mark 11:24-25. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins - Matthew 6:15. Jesus set us a perfect example for us by forgiving those who mocked and crucified Him. Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing - Luke 23:34.  

Bitterness affects our health

            We cannot be joyful and enjoy a good health when we have bitterness in our heart. A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones - Proverbs 17:22.

We lie against the truth 

            We lie against the truth if we have bitterness in our heart. But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there - James 3:14-16.   

We cannot inherit the kingdom of God             

             We cannot inherit the kingdom of God if we have bitterness in heart and hate others. Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God - Galatians 5:19-21.

           Let us get rid of all bitterness and lead a peaceful life. Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you - Ephesians 4:31, 32. Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord - Hebrews 12:14.                                                                            

               

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Deliver us from every root of bitterness in our heart. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen

The Word of God Is Living And Powerful

              For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart - Hebrews 4:12.

               The Word of God that is living and powerful gives us life, health, direction, refreshment, strength, joy, delight, healing and protection. Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God - Matthew 4:4.

Gives life & health

            My son, pay attention to what I say; turn your ear to my words. Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; for they are life to those who find them and health to one’s whole body - Proverbs 4:20-22. Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God -Mathew 4:4.

Gives direction

             Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path - Psalm 119:105. For this command is a lamp, this teaching is a light, and correction and instruction are the way to life - Proverbs 6:22,23.

Gives understanding to the simple

             The entrance of Your words gives light; It gives understanding to the simple - Psalm 119:130.

Gives refreshment & strength

              The law of the Lord is perfect, refreshing the soul - Psalm 19:7a. My soul is weary with sorrow; strengthen me according to your word - Psalm 119:28. 

Gives joy & delight

             Your words were found and I ate them, and your words became to me a joy and the delight of my heart. For I am called by your name, O Lord God of hosts - Jeremiah 15:16. I rejoice at Your word as one who finds great treasure - Psalm 119:162. I rejoice in following your statutes as one rejoices in great riches - Psalm 119:14. If your law had not been my delight, I would have perished in my affliction - Psalm 119:92.

Gives healing

             He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions - Psalm 107:20.

Gives protection

             His truth shall be your shield and buckler - Psalm 91:4.

               Let the living and powerful Word of God that gives life, health, direction, refreshment, strength, joy, delight, healing and protection for us dwell in us richly. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord - Colossians 3:16. Your word I have hidden in my heart  - Psalm 119:14. As newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow – 1 Peter 2:2. 

                                                           

PRAYER: We thank You and praise You for the living and powerful Word of God that gives us life, health, direction, refreshment, strength, joy, delight, healing and protection. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Give Him Glory

                              Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory - Revelation 19:7. 

Give glory to God by praises as He is worthy

               Our God is worthy to receive glory and honor and power and so let us praise Him with all our heart. I will praise you, O Lord my God, with all my heart; I will glorify your name forever - Psalm 86:12. Whoever offers praise glorifies Me - Psalm 50:23.  You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power - Revelation 4:11.

Give glory of God by all doings

              Our actions should bring glory to God. So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God- 1 Corinthians 10:31. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven -  Mathew 5:16. 

Give glory to God in all situations

               Abraham gave glory to God irrespective of his situations  and grew strong in faith as he believed that God will keep His promises to him. He did not weaken in faith when he considered his own body, which was as good as dead (since he was about a hundred years old), or when he considered the barrenness of Sarah's womb. No unbelief made him waver concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong in his faith as he gave glory to God, fully convinced that God was able to do what he had promised.  - Romans 4:19-21.  

               Let us be glad, rejoice and give glory to God. Give unto the LORD the glory due to His name; Worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness - Psalm 29:2. All the nations you have made will come and worship before you, O lord; they will bring glory to your name - Psalm 86:9. Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men! - Luke 2:14.
                                                                                               

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us give You glory by our praises, by all our doings and in all our situations. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Restoration of Joy And Peace

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit - Romans 15:13.

Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me - Psalm 51:12.

For you shall go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and the hills before you shall break forth into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands -  Isaiah 55:12.

You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy -  Psalm 30:11.

Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy. Those who go out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them - Psalm 126:5-6.

I will give peace in the land, and you shall lie down, and none shall make you afraid. And I will remove harmful beasts from the land, and the sword shall not go through your land - Leviticus 26:6.

For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning - Psalm 30:5.

When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy - Psalm 94:19.

These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full - John 15:11.

And the effect of righteousness will be peace, and the result of righteousness, quietness and trust forever. My people will abide in a peaceful habitation, in secure dwellings, and in quiet resting places - Isaiah 32:17-18.

Instead of your shame you will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace you will rejoice in your inheritance. And so you will inherit a double portion in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours - Isaiah 61:7.

Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength - Nehemiah 8:10.

Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer - Romans 12:12.

Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice - Philippians 4:4.

Rejoice in the LORD and be glad, you righteous; sing, all you who are upright in heart! - Psalm 32:11.

For God is not a God of confusion but of peace - 1 Corinthians 14:33.

You make known to me the path of life; You fill me with joy in Your presence - Psalm 16:11.

Great peace have those who love your law; nothing can make them stumble - Psalm 119:165.

You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you - Isaiah 26:3.

Those who promote peace have joy - Proverbs 12:20.

You have put gladness in my heart, More than in the season that their grain and wine increased. I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; For You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety - Psalm 4:7.

And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace - James 3:18.

May the LORD give strength to his people! May the LORD bless his people with peace! - Psalm 29:11.

And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful - Colossians 3:15.

Pray For Others

Pray for each other  - James 5:16.

                Praying for others is a powerful way to bear each other’s burdens and a blessing we can give others. Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ - Galatians 6:2. Let us remember people by name and need and pray for them. I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness - 1 Timothy 2:1-2.

Paul prayed for the believers in Rome

For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of His Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers, making request  - Romans 1:9,10a. 

Paul prayed for the Ephesians 

For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God - Ephesians 3:14-19.

Epaphras prayed for the believers in Colossae, Laodicea and Hierapolis

Epaphras, who is one of you and a servant of Christ Jesus, sends greetings. He is always wrestling in prayer for you, that you may stand firm in all the will of God, mature and fully assured - Colossians 4:12.

Jesus prayed for Simon Peter

And the Lord said, “Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat. But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.” - Luke 22:31,32a.

Jesus prayed for all believers

I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word - John 17:20.

This Is The Day The Lord Has Made

This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it - Psalm 118:24.

                  Everyday is the day made by God and gift for us and so rejoice and be gladI will greatly rejoice in the Lord; my soul shall exult in my God - Isaiah 61:10. He loads us with benefits daily. Blessed be the Lord, Who daily loads us with benefits, The God of our salvation! - Psalm 68:19. 

Praise God

Every day I will praise you and extol your name for ever and ever - Psalm 145:2.

Thank God

Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! His love endures forever - Psalm 118:1.

Pray to God

In the morning, O LORD, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation - Psalm 5:3.

Meditate God's Word

Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path - Psalm 119:105.

Obey God

If You love me keep my commands - John 14:15.

Submit to God

Submit yourselves then to God and the resist the enemy and he will flee - James 4:7.

Be glad & rejoice

Be glad in the Lord, and rejoice, O righteous, and shout for joy, all you upright in heart! - Psalm 32:11.

Be Doers of The Word

 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves - James 1:22.

              We are deceiving ourselves when we are hearers of the word only and not the doers. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was - James 1:23,24.

                 We lie against the truth if we have bitterness in our heart. But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth - James 3:14. We are liars and the truth is not in us when we do not keep His commandments. Whoever says “I know him” but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him - 1 John 2:4.  

             We are not the doers of the word unless we get rid of anger and humbly accept the word planted in us which can save us. Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires. Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you - James 1:19-21.     

                 We deceive ourselves when we do not control our tongue, do not help orphans and widows in their distress and do not keep us holy. If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one’s religion is useless - James 1:26. Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world - James 1:27.                   

              We love God and we are the friends of God and blessed when we are the doers of the Word. Jesus answered him, “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him" - John 14:23. You are my friends if you do what I command you - John 15:14. Blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it! - Luke 11:28.  

              We will be blessed in what what we do when we are the doers of the word.  But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do- James 125.       

              We will have a long, good life when we are the doers of the Word. My child, listen to me and do as I say, and you will have a long, good life - Proverbs 4:10. 

              God instructs us to stay away from people who are just having a form of godliness but always learning and never coming to the knowledge of the truth. Having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth - 2 Timothy 3:5,7. 

              Let us be the doers of the word, and not hearers only. Your statutes are wonderful; therefore I obey them - Psalm 119:129. Does the Lord delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obeying the Lord? To obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat of rams -1 Samuel 15:22.

Declare A Thing And It Will Be Established For You

 You will also declare a thing, And it will be established for you; So light will shine on your ways - Job 22:28.

            God wants us to declare God’s promises and good things that He has in store for us boldly with faith and it will be established for us. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says - Mark 11:23. 

Open Door - Declare that every door God has ordained for us in our life is opening and nothing can stop God's purpose for us.

See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it - Revelation 3:8.

Healing - Declare healing over every area of life. Sickness, pain, and weakness have no place in our body as the Lord is our healer.

I am the Lord who heals you - Exodus 15:26. 

Protection - Declare protection over our family. No weapon formed against us shall prosper and every evil plan of enemy is destroyed. 

No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper - Isaiah 54:17.

Fruitful - Declare that we are fruitful in all we do, our efforts will produce great results and we will enjoy the rewards of our labor.

You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessings and prosperity will be yours - Psalm 128:2. It is good and fitting for one to eat and drink, and to enjoy the good of all his labor in which he toils under the sun all the days of his life which God gives him; for it is his heritage. As for every man to whom God has given riches and wealth, and given him power to eat of it, to receive his heritage and rejoice in his labor—this is the gift of God - Ecclesiastes 5:18,19. 

Restoration - Declare that God will restore everything that the enemy has stolen from our life and let us take back what belongs to us in the Name of our Lord Jesus. 

I will restore the years that the locust has eaten - Joel 2:25.

God Teaches Us

I am the Lord your God, Who teaches you what is best for you, Who directs you in the way you should go - Isaiah 48:17.

          Our God is the one who teaches us what is best for us and directs us in the way we should go, what to do and what to say. I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye - Psalm 32:8. I will teach you what you shall do - Exodus 4:15. Now go; I will help you speak and will teach you what to say - Exodus 4:12.

Fear the Lord

          God will teach us His way He chooses as we fear the Lord. Who is the man that fears the Lord? Him shall He teach in the way He chooses. He himself shall dwell in prosperity, And his descendants shall inherit the earth. The secret of the Lord is with those who fear Him, And He will show them His covenant - Psalm 25:12-14. 

Be humble

          God will teach us His ways  and guides us in what is right as we are humble. He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way - Psalm 25:9.

Pray to God

          God will teach us His plans and ways as we pray to Him as He only knows all the plans that prospers us. For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you - Jeremiah 29:11-12.

David's prayer 

          David prayed for God to show His ways and teach His paths. Show me Your ways, O LORD, teach me Your paths; guide me in Your truth and teach me, for You are God my Savior, and my hope is in You all day long - Psalm 25:4-5.

             Let us fear God, be humble and pray to Him for God to teach us all things. But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you - John 14:26. Teach me to do Your will, For You are my God; Let Your good Spirit lead me on level ground - Psalm 143:10. So teach us to number our days, That we may gain a heart of wisdom - Psalm 90:12.    

Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” Whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left - Isaiah 30:21.

God of Increase

             God who gives the increase - 1 Corinthians 3:7.  

                 Our God is the God of Increase and He is the source of all increase. We may put efforts in planting and watering, but only God gives us the increase. I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase - 1Corinthians 3:6,7.   

                  God will increase and bless us as we love Him, walk in obedience to Him and keep His commands. For I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, and to keep his commands, decrees and laws; then you will live and increase, and the Lord your God will bless you in the land you are entering to possess - Deuteronomy 30:16.         

                 God will increase our strength and power. He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength - Isaiah 40:29. For God says, "I will break the strength of the wicked, but I will increase the power of the godly"- Psalm 75:10. 

               God will bless all the work of our hands, multiply our efforts, and bring a fruitful increase in every area of our life. The Lord your God will make you abound in all the work of your hand, in the fruit of your body, in the increase of your livestock, and in the produce of your land for good - Deuteronomy 30:8,9.     

                  Let us thank our God of increase who increases us more and more. May the Lord give you increase more and more, You and your children. May you be blessed by the Lord, who made heaven and earth - Psalm 115:14,15. May the Lord, the God of your ancestors, increase you a thousand times and bless you as he has promised! - Deuteronomy 1:11.

Favor of The Lord Our God

 May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us - Psalm 90:17.

A good man obtains favor from the Lord - Proverbs 12:2. 

For whoever finds me finds life, and obtains favor from the Lord - Proverbs 8:35.

For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor. No good thing does he withhold from those who walk uprightly - Psalm 84:11.

Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands upon us; yes, establish the work of our hands! - Psalm 90:17.

But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord. Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked faithfully with God - Genesis 6:8,9.

For he who finds me finds life And obtains favor from the Lord - Proverbs 8:35.

God’s favor lasts for a life time. For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life - Psalm 30:5.

For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him as with a shield - Psalm 5:12.

And Jesus increased in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and man - Luke 2:52.

And said, “O Lord, if I have found favor in your sight, do not pass by your servant - Genesis 18:3.

For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast - Ephesians 2:8-9.

Remember me, O Lord, when you show favor to your people; help me when you save them - Psalm 106:4.

And God gave Daniel favor and compassion in the sight of the chief of the eunuchs - Daniel 1:9.

Toward the scorners he is scornful, but to the humble he gives favor - Proverbs 3:34.

The Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace - Numbers 6:25-26.

And the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God - Luke 1:30.

A good man obtains favor from the Lord, but a man of evil devices he condemns - Proverbs 12:2.

Now the boy Samuel continued to grow both in stature and in favor with the Lord and also with man - 1 Samuel 2:26.

In a time of favor I have answered you; in a day of salvation I have helped you; I will keep you and give you as a covenant to the people, to establish the land, to apportion the desolate heritages - Isaiah 49:8.

And he said to him, “If now I have found favor in your eyes, then show me a sign that it is you who speak with me - Judges 6:17.

But the Lord was with Joseph and showed him steadfast love and gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison - Genesis 39:21.

The king loved Esther more than all the other women, and she obtained grace and favor in his sight more than all the virgins; so he set the royal crown upon her head and made her queen instead of Vashti - Esther 2:17.

Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man - Proverbs 3:3,4. 

So you will find favor and good success in the sight of God and man - Proverbs 3:4.
