God Is Almighty In Fulfilling His Promises

He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform - Romans 4:20,21.

God is almighty in fulfilling his promises as nothing is impossible for Him. God promised Abraham a son and He fulfilled the promise despite Abraham’s old age and Sarah’s barrenness proving that He is Almighty in fulfilling His promises. And the Lord visited Sarah as He had said, and the Lord did for Sarah as He had spoken. For Sarah conceived and bore Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him - Genesis 21:1-2.

a) God's Promises Never Fail

What God has spoken will surely come to pass as His promises never fail.

For no word from God will ever fail - Luke 1:37.

b) God’s Promises Never Change

Unlike human promises, God’s promises are established forever and hence never change.

God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? - Numbers 23:19.

c) God Has the Power to Bring Life to the Dead

God fulfills His promise as He has power to bring life to the dead even when situations seem dead and hopeless.

God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did - Romans 4:17.

d) God’s Timing Is Perfect

God is never late and His promises are fulfilled in His perfect timing.

For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry - Habakkuk 2:3.

e) God Is Faithful to His Covenant

God will never break His covenant, and His faithfulness endures to all generations.

He remembers His covenant forever, The word which He commanded, for a thousand generations - Psalm 105:8.

Not one of the good promises which the Lord had made to the house of Israel failed; all came to pass - Joshua 21:45.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are Almighty in fulfilling Your promises. Great is Your faithfulness to us. We thank You for fulfilling Your promises to us. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
