Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God - Hebrews 12:2.
God guides us on the right path and direction as we look unto Him and fix our eyes on Him. I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye - Psalm 32:8. Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” Whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left - Isaiah 30:21.
a) Jesus is the Way
Jesus alone is our way can provide us the right path.
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me - (John 14:6).
b) The Good Shepherd Guides
God goes before His sheep to follow Him safely.
And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice - (John 10:4).
c) The Word of God Gives Light
God's Word guides us and gives us light.
Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path - (Psalm 119:105).
d) Trust in the Lord Who Directs Our Paths
God directs our paths as we trust Him.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths - (Proverbs 3:5-6).
PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us always look unto You and trust You as You alone can guide us and direct us on the right path and Your Word gives us light. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
