God's Abundant Restoration

Even today I declare That I will restore double to you - Zechariah 9:12.

God is faithful in restoring us everything in double that we have lost in the past years. The threshing floors shall be full of wheat, And the vats shall overflow with new wine and oil. So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, The crawling locust, The consuming locust, And the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you - Joel 2:24,25To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness - Isaiah 61:3.

God's restoration for Job

And the Lord restored Job’s losses when he prayed for his friends. Indeed the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before - Job 42:10. Now the Lord blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning; for he had fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, one thousand yoke of oxen, and one thousand female donkeys. He also had seven sons and three daughters - Job 42:12,13.

God's restoration for Joseph

And Pharaoh said to Joseph, “See, I have set you over all the land of Egypt.” - Genesis 41:41. Thus he put him in charge of the whole land of Egypt - Genesis 41:43. So all countries came to Joseph in Egypt to buy grain, because the famine was severe in all lands - Genesis 41:57.

God's restoration for David

So David recovered all that the Amalekites had carried away, and David rescued his two wives. And nothing of theirs was lacking, either small or great, sons or daughters, spoil or anything which they had taken from them; David recovered all. Then David took all the flocks and herds they had driven before those other livestock, and said, “This is David’s spoil.”- 1Samuel 30:18-20.

God's restoration renews our joy

When the Lord brought back the captivity of Zion, We were like those who dream. Then our mouth was filled with laughter, And our tongue with singing. Then they said among the nations, “The Lord has done great things for them.” The Lord has done great things for us, And we are glad - Psalm 126:1-3.

Let us thank God who restored us abundantly and renewed our joy. We went through fire and water, but you brought us to a place of abundance - Psalm 66:12. You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, And praise the name of the Lord your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you; And My people shall never be put to shame - Joel 2:26. Instead of your shame you shall have double honor, And instead of confusion they shall rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they shall possess double; Everlasting joy shall be theirs - Isaiah 61:7.

I will bring back the captives of My people Israel; They shall build the waste cities and inhabit them; They shall plant vineyards and drink wine from them; They shall also make gardens and eat fruit from them. I will plant them in their land, And no longer shall they be pulled up From the land I have given them,” Says the Lord your God - Amos 9:14,15.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for restoring us everything that we have lost in abundance and filling us with joy. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
