Remember these, O Jacob, And Israel,
for you are My servant; I have formed you, you are My servant; O Israel, you
will not be forgotten by Me - Isaiah 44:21.
Our
God never forgets us. Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have
compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not
forget you. See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are
continually before Me - Isaiah 49:15,16. Even a mother may forget her child but
God will not forget us. We are very safe and secure in the loving hands of
God.
We may feel that we are
completely forgotten by people but God will never forget us. Joseph was
forgotten in the prison. The chief cupbearer, however, did not remember Joseph;
he forgot him - Genesis 40:23. But God did not forget Joseph and made him
leader of Egypt. Thus he put him in charge of the whole land of Egypt - Genesis
41:43.
Instead of trusting
man, let us trust only God who never forgets us. Stop trusting in mere humans,
who have but a breath in their nostrils - Isaiah 2:22. God will never forget our
work and labor which we do for Him. For God is not unjust to forget your work
and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have
ministered to the saints, and do minister - Hebrews 6:10.
