As each one has received a gift,
minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God - 1 Peter
4:10.
God has given each of us
different gifts to use it for His glory. Having then gifts differing according
to the grace that is given to us, let us use them - Romans 12:6. The Lord
appeared to Moses in a flame of fire when he was tending the flock in the desert
and told him that had to deliver Israelites from Egypt. So the Lord said to
him, “What is that in your hand?” He said, “A rod” - Exodus 4:2.
God wants us to
serve Him with what we have. When Moses pleaded with the Lord that he is not
very good in speaking, God sent Aaron along with him. God expects us to use our
gifts to meet the needs of other people. He will help us to align with right
people to fulfill His purpose. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ
Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in
them(Ephesians 2:10).
God will help us to use our gifts wisely for His glory. The Holy spirit will teach
us and instruct us what to do and say. Now therefore, go, and I will be with your
mouth and teach you what you shall say - Exodus 4:12. God has created us to be
salt and light of this earth. Let us serve God with what we have and honor God with our gifts. I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God
has been making it grow - 1 Corinthians 3:6.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to use the
gifts You have given us to serve You. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
