Our Heavenly Father

See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! - 1 John 3:1.

We are the children of the Most High God. Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God - John 1:12. Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will.  But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.  Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows - Matthew 10:29-31. Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom - Luke 12:32.

Our Heavenly father knows all our needs. Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things - Mathew 6:31,32. He will never change and He is the giver of perfect gifts. Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows - James 1:17. His love is great towards us.  As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him - Psalm 103:13.

Our God is the good Father of all. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all - Ephesians 4:4 - 6. All things come from Him and we live through Him. Yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live - 1 Corinthians 8:6.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for being a good father for us. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

God My Exceeding Joy

Then I will go to the altar of God, To God my exceeding joy - Psalm 43:4.

God is our exceeding joy. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory - 1 Peter 1:8. He is the one who turns all our sorrow into joy. your sorrow will be turned into joy - John 16:20. Let us rejoice always in the Lord who is our exceeding joy. Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! - Philippians 4:4. The joy of the Lord is your strength - Nehemiah 8:10.

There is fullness of joy in the presence of God. In Your presence is fullness of joy - Psalm 16:11. Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full - John 16:24. These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full - John 15:11.

Let us experience God as our exceeding joy in all situations. So the ransomed of the Lord shall return, And come to Zion with singing, With everlasting joy on their heads. They shall obtain joy and gladness; Sorrow and sighing shall flee away - Isaiah 51:11. You have put more joy in my heart than they have when their grain and wine abound - Psalm 4:7.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for being our exceeding joy. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Psalm 37:5 - Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun.

Psalm 55:22 - Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken.

Psalm 94:19 - When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy.

The Five Signs of A Believer

And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover - Mark 16:17,18.

5 Signs of a believer

1. Casting out demons

And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease - Matthew 10:1.

2. Speaking with new tongues

And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance - Acts 2:4.

3. Taking up serpents

Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy – Luke 10:19.

4. Being unharmed by anything deadly

Nothing shall by any means hurt you - Luke 10:19.

5. Laying hands on the sick who recover

And He sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick - Luke 9:2.

Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father - John 14:12.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Your name is powerful. We thank You for giving us power to overcome all the power of enemy. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

By Faith

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him - Hebrews 11:6.

Abraham

By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going - Hebrews 11:8. By faith he dwelt in the land of promise as in a foreign country, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise; for he waited for the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God - Hebrews 11:9, 10.

Sarah

By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised. Therefore from one man, and him as good as dead, were born as many as the stars of the sky in multitude - innumerable as the sand which is by the seashore - Hebrews 11:11,12.

Noah

By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.

Moses

By faith Moses, when he was born, was hidden three months by his parents, because they saw he was a beautiful child; and they were not afraid of the king’s command - Hebrews 11:23.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We believe that You are a rewarder of those who diligently seek You. Help us to walk by faith and not by sight. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

I Will Show You

Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know - Jeremiah 33:3.

God showed the land where Abram should go and blessed him. Now the Lord had said to Abram: “Get out of your country, From your family And from your father’s house, To a land that I will show you. I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing” - Genesis 12:1,2.

God showed great signs and wonders in Egypt and brought the Israelites out of it with a mighty hand. We were slaves of Pharaoh in Egypt, and the Lord brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand; and the Lord showed signs and wonders before our eyes, great and severe, against Egypt, Pharaoh, and all his household - Deuteronomy 6:21,22.

God will show us great and mighty things which we never know as we call upon Him. He will show us His ways and direct our paths. Show me Your ways, O Lord; Teach me Your paths - Psalm 25:4. Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” Whenever you turn to the right hand Or whenever you turn to the left - Isaiah 30:21.  He will show great wonders in our life. I will show them my wonders - Micah 7:15.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for showing great wonders in our life. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

God Goes Ahead of Us

And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed - Deuteronomy 31:8.

God goes ahead and fights for us with our enemies. The Lord your God, who goes before you, He will fight for you, according to all He did for you in Egypt before your eyes - Deuteronomy 1:30. Therefore understand today that the Lord your God is He who goes over before you as a consuming fire. He will destroy them and bring them down before you; so you shall drive them out and destroy them quickly, as the Lord has said to you - Deuteronomy 9:3.

God goes ahead and make the crooked places straight. I will go before you and make the crooked places straight - Isaiah 45:2. He goes ahead and prepares greater things for us as He knows everything about us from beginning to the end. For the Lord will go before you, And the God of Israel will be your rear guard - Isaiah 52:12. For I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like Me, declaring the end from the beginning - Isaiah 46:9,10.

God goes ahead to lead us, guide us and protect us. By day the Lord went ahead of them in a pillar of cloud to guide them on their way and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so that they could travel by day or night – Exodus 13:21. To Him who led His people through the wilderness, For His mercy endures forever - Psalm 136:16. You have hedged me behind and before, And laid Your hand upon me - Psalm 139:5.

PRAYER: Dear, We thank You for going ahead of us and making all the crooked places straight. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Walk By Faith And Not By Sight

For we walk by faith, not by sight - 2 Corinthians 5:7.

Joshua and Caleb brought good report about the land of Canaan. Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses, and said, “Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it” - Numbers 13:30. The other ten spies brought bad report about the land. But the men who had gone up with him said, “We are not able to go up against the people, for they are stronger than we.” And they gave the children of Israel a bad report of the land which they had spied out, saying, “The land through which we have gone as spies is a land that devours its inhabitants, and all the people whom we saw in it are men of great stature. There we saw the giants (the descendants of Anak came from the giants); and we were like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight - Numbers 13:31-33.

Joshua and Caleb walked by faith whereas the other spies walked by sight. The ten spies died by a plague before the Lord but only Joshua and Caleb were spared. Now the men whom Moses sent to spy out the land, who returned and made all the congregation complain against him by bringing a bad report of the land, those very men who brought the evil report about the land, died by the plague before the Lord. But Joshua the son of Nun and Caleb the son of Jephunneh remained alive, of the men who went to spy out the land - Numbers 14:36-38..

Only Joshua and Caleb were able to inherit the promised land as they had a spirit of faith. But My servant Caleb, because he has a different spirit in him and has followed Me fully, I will bring into the land where he went, and his descendants shall inherit it - Numbers 14:24. And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, “I believed and therefore I spoke,” we also believe and therefore speak - 2 Corinthians 4:13.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to walk by faith and not by sight. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Praise God For His Mighty Acts

Who can utter the mighty acts of the Lord? Who can declare all His praise? - Psalm 106:2.

Our God is Mighty and He does mighty things in our life. For the Lord your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, mighty and awesome - Deuteronomy 10:17. Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, The Lord mighty in battle - Psalm 24:8.

Let us praise God for rescuing us from the hands of enemies mightily. Accordingly, say to the Israelites, I am the Lord, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will free you from their bondage, and I will rescue you with an outstretched arm and by mighty acts of judgment - Exodus 6:6.

Let us praise God for all His mighty acts in our life. One generation shall praise Your works to another, And shall declare Your mighty acts - Psalm 145:4. Great is our Lord, and mighty in power; His understanding is infinite - Psalm 147:5.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are the Mighty God. We thank You for Your mighty acts in our life. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

God Is The Judge

For God will bring every work into judgment, Including every secret thing, Whether good or evil - Ecclesiastes 12:14.

For the Lord is our judge; the Lord is our lawgiver; the Lord is our king; he will save us - Isaiah 33:22.

But God is the Judge; He puts down one and exalts another - Psalm 75:7.

For it is time for judgment to begin at the household of God; and if it begins with us, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God? - 1 Peter 4:17.

Far be it from you to do such a thing, to put the righteous to death with the wicked, so that the righteous fare as the wicked! Far be that from you! Shall not the Judge of all the earth do what is just? - Genesis 18:25.

Do not judge by appearances, but judge with right judgment - John 7:24.

And the angels who did not stay within their own position of authority, but left their proper dwelling, he has kept in eternal chains under gloomy darkness until the judgment of the great day - Jude 1:6.

And to the assembly of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, and to God, the judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous made perfect - Hebrews 12:23.

But it is God who executes judgment, putting down one and lifting up another - Psalm 75:7.

Judge not, that you be not judged - Matthew 7:1.

But, O Lord of hosts, who judges righteously, Who tries the feelings and the heart - Jeremiah 11:20.

But they will give account to him who is ready to judge the living and the dead - 1 Peter 4:5.

Therefore judge nothing before the appointed time; wait until the Lord comes. He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of the heart. At that time each will receive their praise from God - 1 Corinthians 4:5.

But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment - Matthew 12:36.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are our judge who judges us righteously. Help us to get ready for Your judgement day. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Promise Keeper

God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? - Numbers 23:19.

For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us - 2 Corinthians 1:20.

I will bring on them all the good that I have promised them - Jeremiah 32:42.

Let us hold on to the promises of God with faith. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful – Hebrews 10:23.\

For I am the LORD: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass - Ezekiel 12:25.

His word will never pass away. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away - Matthew 24:35.

For no word from God will ever fail - Luke 1:37.

So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it - Isaiah 55:11.

Then the Lord said to me, “You have seen well, for I am ready to perform My word" - Jeremiah 1:12.

For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us - 2 Corinthians 1:20.

Not one of all the Lord’s good promises to Israel failed; everyone was fulfilled - Joshua 21:45.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for fulfilling all the promises in our life. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Only Speak A Word

The centurion answered and said, “Lord, I am not worthy that You should come under my roof. But only speak a word, and my servant will be healed” - Matthew 8:8.

Jesus was amazed to see the Centurion’s great faith as he told to just speak a word for his servant to be healed. When Jesus heard this, He was amazed and said to those following Him, “Truly I tell you, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith - Mathew 8:10. When Jesus told that let it be done according to his belief, the servant was healed immediately.

Faith pleases God. But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him - Hebrews 11:6. Let us walk by faith and not by sight. For we walk by faith, not by sight - 2corinthians 5:7.

Miracles will happen when God’s powerful Word is spoken to our situations with faith. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life - John 6:63. The word of God is living and powerful - Hebrews 4:12. For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast - Psalm 33:9.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to walk by faith and not by sight. Speak into our situations. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Grace And Peace Multiplied

Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord - 2 Peter 1:2.

God makes all grace abound toward us so that we have all sufficiency in all things. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work - 2 Corinthians 9:8. His grace is sufficient to strengthen us in our weakness. And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness - 2 Corinthians 12:9.

God is our peace. For He Himself is our peace - Ephesians 2:14. He gives us His peace and so let our heart be not troubled. Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid - John 14:27. The LORD gives strength to his people; the LORD blesses his people with peace - Psalm 29:11.

May God’s grace and peace be multiplied in our life. The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace - Numbers 6:24-26. Let the peace and grace of God surround us always in every way. Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way - 2 Thessalonians 3:16.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let Your grace and peace be multiplied in our lives. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Let There Be No Strife

So Abram said to Lot, “Please let there be no strife between you and me, and between my herdsmen and your herdsmen; for we are brethren - Genesis 12:8.

Abraham let Lot to choose of any part of the land he desires as there was a strife between their herdsmen. So Abram said to Lot, “Please let there be no strife between you and me, and between my herdsmen and your herdsmen; for we are brethren. Is not the whole land before you? Please separate from me. If you take the left, then I will go to the right; or, if you go to the right, then I will go to the left" - Genesis 13:8,9. Lot chose the plain of Jordon as it was well watered everywhere. Then Lot chose for himself all the plain of Jordan, and Lot journeyed east. And they separated from each other - Genesis 13:10,11.

Abraham believed the promises of God and he was content with what he had. So, the Lord blessed Abraham abundantly. And the Lord said to Abram, after Lot had separated from him: “Lift your eyes now and look from the place where you are - northward, southward, eastward, and westward; for all the land which you see I give to you and your descendants forever. And I will make your descendants as the dust of the earth; so that if a man could number the dust of the earth, then your descendants also could be numbered. Arise, walk in the land through its length and its width, for I give it to you - Genesis 13: 14-17.

Let us be gentle to all and avoid disputes that causes strife like Abraham. But avoid foolish and ignorant disputes, knowing that they generate strife. And a servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all - 2 Timothy 2:23,24. Blessed are the peacemakers, For they shall be called sons of God - Matthew 5:9. Like Abraham let us also be content with what we have. Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you” - Hebrews 13:5.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to be gentle to all and be content with what we have. We thank You for all the blessings You have given us. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

The Lord Gives Us Strength

The LORD gives strength to his people; the LORD blesses his people with peace - Psalm 29:11.

God strengthens all those who wait on Him. Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord! - Psalm 27:14. But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint - Isaiah 40:31

God’s Word is our strength. Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God -Matthew 4:4. The Holy Spirit empowers us. But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you - Acts 1:8.

We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. I can do all things through Him who strengthens me - Philippians 4:13. He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength - Isaiah 40:29.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are the Lord who strengthens us. Help us to wait upon You and renew our strength. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

I Will Glorify Your Name Forever

I will glorify your name forever - Psalm 86:12.

God’s mercy is great towards us. I will praise You, O Lord my God, with all my heart, And I will glorify Your name forevermore. For great is Your mercy toward me - Psalm 86:12,13. Let us glorify God’s name forever for His mercies in our life. Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, But to Your name give glory - Psalm 115:1.

Abraham believed the promise of God, strengthened in faith and gave glory to God. He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God - Romans 4:20. Let us give glory to God in all we do. Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God - 1 Corinthians 10:31.

God delivers us as we call upon Him in the trouble and so let us glorify Him. Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me - Psalm 50:15. Let us glorify God by offering praises. Whoever offers praise glorifies Me - Psalm 50:23.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us glorify Your name forever and ever. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

The Word of God Is Powerful

For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart - Hebrews 4:12.

The Word of God is powerful to deliver us, Let Your mercies come also to me, O Lord - Your salvation according to Your word - Psalm 119:41. Let my supplication come before You; Deliver me according to Your word - Psalm 119:170.

The Word of God is powerful to strengthen us. My soul melts from heaviness; Strengthen me according to Your word - Psalm 119:28. The law of the Lord is perfect, refreshing the soul - Psalm 19:7. For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh - Proverbs 4:20-22.

The word of God is powerful to guide us and direct us in all situations. Psalm 119:105 says that, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." It guides us and helps us in making right decisions. Is not My word like a fire?” says the Lord, “And like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces? - Jeremiah 23:29.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for Your powerful Word that delivers us, strengthens us and guides us. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Blessings of Keeping The Commandments of God

Leviticus 26:3-13

3 If you walk in My statutes and keep My commandments, and perform them,

4 then I will give you rain in its season, the land shall yield its produce, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.

5 Your threshing shall last till the time of vintage, and the vintage shall last till the time of sowing; you shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely.

6 I will give peace in the land, and you shall lie down, and none will make you afraid; I will rid the land of evil beasts, and the sword will not go through your land.

7 You will chase your enemies, and they shall fall by the sword before you.

8 Five of you shall chase a hundred, and a hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight; your enemies shall fall by the sword before you.

9 ‘For I will look on you favorably and make you fruitful, multiply you and confirm My covenant with you.

10 You shall eat the old harvest, and clear out the old because of the new.

11 I will set My tabernacle among you, and My soul shall not abhor you.

12 I will walk among you and be your God, and you shall be My people.

13 I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, that you should not be their slaves; I have broken the bands of your yoke and made you walk upright.

Savior, Like A Shepherd Lead Us

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters - Psalm 23:1,2.

God is our good shepherd and we are His sheep. I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own. As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep - John 10:14,15. We lack nothing as He is our Shepherd. I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep - John 10:11. For He is our God and we are the people of His pasture, and the sheep of His hand - Psalm 95:7.

The good Shepherd feeds us as He knows what we need. He will feed His flock like a shepherd; He will gather the lambs with His arm, And carry them in His bosom, And gently lead those who are with young - Isaiah 40:11. I will feed them on the mountains of Israel, in the valleys and in all the inhabited places of the country. I will feed them in good pasture, and their fold shall be on the high mountains of Israel. There they shall lie down in a good fold and feed in rich pasture on the mountains of Israel - Ezekiel 34:13,14.

The good Shepherd leads us as we hear His voice and follow Him. My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand - John 10:27,28. For you were like sheep going astray, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls - 1 Peter 2:25.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are our good Shepherd who feeds us and leads us. We thank You for Your guidance and care. Help us to listen to Your voice and follow You. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Follow Christ And Please Him

Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it" - Matthew 16:24,25.

We are called to follow Christ and His foot steps as we are His disciples. God wants us to do what He would do if He was in our place. For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps - 1 Peter 2:21. When Jesus was in the world, He did not please Himself but He pleased the Father who sent Him. By myself I can do nothing; I judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just, for I seek not to please myself but him who sent me - John 5:30.

As a soldier aims to please the officer who enlisted him, let us please God. You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier - 2 Timothy 2:3, 4. An athlete is not crowned unless he competes according to the rules. And also if anyone competes in athletics, he is not crowned unless he competes according to the rules - 2 Timothy 2:5. Imitate me, just as I also imitate Christ - 1 Corinthians 1:11.

With God’s strength, let us follow Christ and please Him. But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me - 2 Corinthians 12:9. His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness - 2 Peter 1:3.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us follow Your ways and please You in all we do as Your disciples. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
