Rejoice And Sing Praises

Shout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth; Break forth in song, rejoice, and sing praises - Psalm 98:4.

My soul will be satisfied as with fat and rich food, and my mouth will praise you with joyful lips, when I remember you upon my bed, and meditate on you in the watches of the night; for you have been my help, and in the shadow of your wings I will sing for joy - Psalm 63:5-7.

And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me; Therefore I will offer sacrifices of  joy in His tabernacle; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord - Psalm 27:6.

The Lord is my strength and my shield; My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, And with my song I will praise Him - Psalm 28:7.

I will praise You, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will tell of all Your marvelous works. I will be glad and rejoice in You; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High - Psalm 9:1,2.

You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore - Psalm 16:11.

Surely you have granted him unending blessings and made him glad with the joy of your presence - Psalm 21:6.

Let them shout for joy and be glad, Who favor my righteous cause; And let them say continually, “Let the Lord be magnified, Who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.” And my tongue shall speak of Your righteousness And of Your praise all the day long - Psalm 35:27, 28.

Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise! - Psalm 95:2.

  Psalm 98

                          1.  Oh, sing to the Lord a new song!

                            For He has done marvelous things;

His right hand and His holy arm have gained Him the victory.

                                2 The Lord has made known His salvation;

His righteousness He has revealed in the sight of the nations.

3 He has remembered His mercy and His faithfulness to the house of Israel;

All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

4 Shout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth;

Break forth in song, rejoice, and sing praises.

5 Sing to the Lord with the harp,

With the harp and the sound of a psalm,

6 With trumpets and the sound of a horn;

Shout joyfully before the Lord, the King.

7 Let the sea roar, and all its fullness,

The world and those who dwell in it;

8 Let the rivers clap their hands;

Let the hills be joyful together

9     before the Lord,

For He is coming to judge the earth.

With righteousness He shall judge the world,

And the peoples with equity.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You and praise You for all the marvelous things You have done for us. We rejoice and sing praises to You. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Blessed Are Those Who Find Wisdom

Blessed are those who find wisdom, those who gain understanding - Proverbs 3:13‭.

We must seek wisdom over all things that the world has to offer as it is more profitable than silver, precious than rubies and yields better returns than gold. For wisdom is more profitable than silver, and her wages are better than gold. Wisdom is more precious than rubies; nothing you desire can compare with her. She offers you long life in her right hand, and riches and honor in her left. She will guide you down delightful paths; all her ways are satisfying. Wisdom is a tree of life to those who embrace her; happy are those who hold her tightly - Proverbs 3:14-18.

Our God gives wisdom generously to all who ask him. For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding - Proverbs 2:6.  If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you - James 1:5. The wisdom of God is pure, peaceable, gentle and full of good fruits. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy - James 3:17.

Let us find the wisdom of God that formed the earth, the heaven, every mountain, the depths of the ocean and that formed us in our mother's womb as God’s wisdom will help us to make right choices in our life. By wisdom the Lord laid the earth’s foundations, by understanding he set the heavens in place; by his knowledge the watery depths were divided, and the clouds let drop the dew - Proverbs 3:19,20. The one who gets wisdom loves life; the one who cherishes understanding will soon prosper - Proverbs 19:8.

                                                         Proverbs 3:21-26.

My son, do not let wisdom and understanding out of your sight,

                                   preserve sound judgment and discretion;

they will be life for you,

an ornament to grace your neck.

Then you will go on your way in safety,

and your foot will not stumble.

                                     When you lie down, you will not be afraid;

when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet.

Have no fear of sudden disaster

or of the ruin that overtakes the wicked,

for the Lord will be at your side

and will keep your foot from being snared.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for giving us Your perfect wisdom to make right choices and to lead a successful life. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

The Lord Goes Before Us

You go before me and follow me. You place your hand of blessing on my head - Psalm 139:5.

There is no need to fear or worry as much about what lies ahead in our life, as the Lord our God who goes before us is with us to guide us, to fight for us, to protect us and to break obstacles for us. The LORD is the one who goes ahead of you; He will be with you He will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed - Deuteronomy 31:8.

Guides us

The Lord was going before them in a pillar of cloud by day to lead them on the way, and in a pillar of fire by night to give them light, that they might travel by day and by night - Exodus 13:21

Fights for us

The LORD your God who goes before you will Himself fight on your behalf - Deuteronomy 1:30.

Protects us

For the LORD will go before you, And the God of Israel will be your rear guard - Isaiah 52:12.

Breaks obstacles for us

I will go before you and make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze And cut the bars of iron - Isaiah 45:2.

Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you - Deuteronomy 31:6.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for going before us to guide us, to fight for us, to protect us and to open doors for us. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Walk In Love

As you have heard from the beginning, His command is that you walk in love - 2 John 1:6.

Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another - 1 John 4:11.

Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins - 1 Peter 4:8.

Love prospers when a fault is forgiven, but dwelling on it separates close friends - Proverbs 17:9.

Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love - Ephesians 4:2.

Let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth - 1 John 3:18.

Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart - 1 Peter 1:22.

If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also - 1 John 4:20,21.

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing. Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails - 1 Corinthians 13:1-8.

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another - John 13:34, 35.

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love - 1 John 4:7,8.

We love because he first loved us - 1 John 4:19.

If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us - 1 John 4:12.

Hatred stirs up strife, But love covers all sins - Proverbs 5:20.

Jesus said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.” This is the first and great commandment.  And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself’ - Matthew 22: 37-39.

Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves - Romans 12:10.

Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you - Matthew 5:44.

And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma - Ephesians 5:2.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us walk in love like how You loved us and gave Yourself for us. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

His Praise Will Always Be On My Lips

I will extol the Lord at all times; His praise will always be on my lips - Psalm 34:1.

The annotation of Psalm 34 says that it is the Psalm of David when he pretended madness before Abimelech, who drove him away, and he departed. David sang this Psalm when he was in a life-threatening situation and when he was very much afraid. That day David fled from Saul and went to Achish king of Gath. But the servants of Achish said to him, “Isn’t this David, the king of the land? Isn’t he the one they sing about in their dances: “‘Saul has slain his thousands, and David his tens of thousands’?” David took these words to heart and was very much afraid of Achish king of Gath. So he pretended to be insane in their presence; and while he was in their hands he acted like a madman, making marks on the doors of the gate and letting saliva run down his beard. Achish said to his servants, “Look at the man! He is insane! Why bring him to me? - 1 Samuel 21:10-14.

In Psalm 34, David also testified about being heard and rescued by God. I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears. Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame. This poor man called, and the Lord heard him; he saved him out of all his troubles. The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them - Psalm 34:4-7.

Let us bless the Lord at all times and let His praises be always be on our lips irrespective of situations. I will extol the Lord at all times; his praise will always be on my lips. I will glory in the Lord; let the afflicted hear and rejoice. Glorify the Lord with me; let us exalt his name together - Psalm 34:1-3. Come and hear, all you who fear God; let me tell you what he has done for me. I cried out to him with my mouth; his praise was on my tongue - Psalm 66:16-19.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us bless You at all times and let Your praises be always on our lips. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Be Gentle Toward Everyone

Remind the people to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready to do whatever is good, to slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate, and always to be gentle toward everyone - Titus 3:2.

Our God is gentle. He is able to deal gently with those who are ignorant and are going astray, since he himself is subject to weakness -  Hebrews 5:2. He will feed His flock like a shepherd; He will gather the lambs with His arm, And carry them in His bosom, And gently lead those who are with young - Isaiah 40:11.

God wants us to learn gentleness from Him. Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls - Matthew 11:28-29.

We need to be gentle in our conversations. A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger - Proverbs 15:1. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect - 1 Peter 3:15.

Let us always be gentle toward everyone. Let your gentleness be evident to all - Philippians 4:5. As God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience - Colossians 3:12. Brother and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently - Galatians 6:1.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us always be gentle toward everyone. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Be Exalted O God

Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; Let Your glory be above all the earth - Psalm 57:5.

God exalted Jesus to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name as He humbled Himself. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death - even death on a cross! Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father - Philippians 2:9-10.

We exalt the Lord as He is the king to be praised and exalted high. I will exalt you, my God the King; I will praise your name for ever and ever - Psalm 145:1. Yours, Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours, Lord, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all - 1 Chronicles 29:11. Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! - Psalm 46:10.

Let us exalt the Lord our God. Exalt the Lord our God, And worship at His footstool - He is holy - Psalm 99:5. Oh, magnify the Lord with me, And let us exalt His name together - Psalm 34:3. I will exalt you, my God the King; I will praise your name for ever and ever - Psalm 145:1. Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; let your glory be over all the earth - Psalm 57:5.

PRAYER: Dear Lord. You are exalted above the heaven and earth. We praise You, exalt You and magnify You. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Blessings For All Who Obey The Voice of The Lord

Now therefore, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine. 6 And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation - Exodus 19:5,6.

Deuteronomy 28:2-14

2.  And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the Lord your God:

3 . Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the country.

4. Blessed shall be the fruit of your body, the produce of your ground and the increase of your herds, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flocks.

5. Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl.

6. Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out.

7. The Lord will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before your face; they shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways.

8. The Lord will command the blessing on you in your storehouses and in all to which you set your hand, and He will bless you in the land which the Lord your God is giving you.

 9. The Lord will establish you as a holy people to Himself, just as He has sworn to you, if you keep the commandments of the Lord your God and walk in His ways.

 10. Then all peoples of the earth shall see that you are called by the name of the Lord, and they shall be afraid of you.

 11. And the Lord will grant you plenty of goods, in the fruit of your body, in the increase of your livestock, and in the produce of your ground, in the land of which the Lord swore to your fathers to give you.

12. The Lord will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow.

13. And the Lord will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not be beneath, if you heed the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you today, and are careful to observe them.

14. So you shall not turn aside from any of the words which I command you this day, to the right or the left, to go after other gods to serve them.

PRAYER:Dear Lord, Help us to obey Your voice. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Preach The Word

Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching - 2 Timothy 4:2.

Peter & John

And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness - Acts 4:31.

Paul

At Damascus

But Barnabas took him and brought him to the apostles. And he declared to them how he had seen the Lord on the road, and that He had spoken to him, and how he had preached boldly at Damascus in the name of Jesus - Acts 9:27.

At Ephesus

And he went into the synagogue and spoke boldly for three months, reasoning and persuading concerning the things of the kingdom of God - Acts 19:8.

Paul & Barnabas

In Pisidian Antioch

On the next Sabbath almost the whole city gathered to hear the word of the Lord. When the Jews saw the crowds, they were filled with jealousy. They began to contradict what Paul was saying and heaped abuse on him.  Then Paul and Barnabas answered them boldly: “We had to speak the word of God to you first. Since you reject it and do not consider yourselves worthy of eternal life, we now turn to the Gentiles. For this is what the Lord has commanded us: “‘I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.’” When the Gentiles heard this, they were glad and honored the word of the Lord; and all who were appointed for eternal life believed - Acts 13:44-48.

At Iconium

At Iconium Paul and Barnabas went as usual into the Jewish synagogue. There they spoke so effectively that a great number of Jews and Greeks believed. But the Jews who refused to believe stirred up the other Gentiles and poisoned their minds against the brothers. So Paul and Barnabas spent considerable time there, speaking boldly for the Lord, who confirmed the message of his grace by enabling them to perform signs and wonders - Acts 14:1-3.

Apollos

Now a certain Jew named Apollos, born at Alexandria, an eloquent man and mighty in the Scriptures, came to Ephesus. This man had been instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in spirit, he spoke and taught accurately the things of the Lord, though he knew only the baptism of John. So he began to speak boldly in the synagogue - Acts 18:24-26.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us be ready in season and out of season to preach the Word boldly. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

I Will Instruct You And Teach You In The Way You Should Go

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye - Psalm 32:8.

Jesus asked the disciples if they have any food and they answered no as they had been fishing all night and caught nothing. They went out and immediately got into the boat, and that night they caught nothing. But when the morning had now come, Jesus stood on the shore; yet the disciples did not know that it was Jesus. Then Jesus said to them, “Children, have you any food?” They answered Him, “No.” - John 21:3-5.

Jesus instructed the disciples to cast the net on the right side of the boat. With trust in God's guidance, the disciples casted the net on the right side of the boat and they were not able to draw the net because of the large number of fish. And He said to them, “Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some.” So they cast, and now they were not able to draw it in because of the multitude of fish - John 21:6.  Simon Peter went up and dragged the net to land, full of large fish, one hundred and fifty-three; and although there were so many, the net was not broken - John 21:11.

God will instruct us and teach us in the way we should go. Let us trust God's guidance instead of leaning on our own understanding and be blessed. Trust in the Lord with all your heart,  And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths - Proverbs 3:5, 6. Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” Whenever you turn to the right hand Or whenever you turn to the left - Isaiah 30:21.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank you for instructing us and teaching us in the way we should go. Let us trust Your guidance in our life instead of leaning on our own understanding. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

The Wind Ceased And There Was A Great Calm

Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm - Mark 4:39.

Jesus went in a boat with the disciples in the sea of Galilee to cross over the other side. Suddenly a great storm arose and the boat was covered with the waves. The disciples were filled with fear, lacked faith and they awoke Jesus who was asleep. And suddenly a great tempest arose on the sea, so that the boat was covered with the waves. But He was asleep. Then His disciples came to Him and awoke Him, saying, “Lord, save us! We are perishing!” - Matthew 8:24,25.

Jesus rebuked the wind and said to the sea to be still, the wind ceased and there was a great and complete calm.  He replied, “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm - Mathew 8:26. He calms the storm, So that its waves are still. Then they are glad because they are quiet - Psalm 107:29,30. For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast - Psalm 33:9. The men were amazed and asked, “What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey him!” - Matthew 8:27.

Let us also speak to every problem in our life with faith instead of being fearful and there will be a great calm and peace. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid - John14:27. I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you - Mathew 7:20. Be still, and know that I am God - Psalm 46:10.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for calming all the storms in our life and giving us peace. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

You Will Tread On The Heights of Your Enemies

He is your shield and helper and your glorious sword. Your enemies will cower before you, and you will tread on their heights - Deuteronomy 33:29.

Our enemies will cower before us and we will tread on their heights as God is our shield, helper and glorious sword. You will tread on the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent - Psalm 91:13. Nothing will harm us as God had given us authority to tread and trample the enemies and to overcome all the power of the enemy. I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you - Luke 10:19.

God our Helper will help us and make us into a new threshing sledge with sharp teeth to thresh the mountains and beat them small and make the hills like chaff. “Fear not, you worm Jacob, You men of Israel! I will help you,” says the Lord And your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel. “Behold, I will make you into a new threshing sledge with sharp teeth; You shall thresh the mountains and beat them small, And make the hills like chaff. You shall winnow them, the wind shall carry them away, And the whirlwind shall scatter them; You shall rejoice in the Lord, And glory in the Holy One of Israel - Isaiah 41:14-16.

Let us rejoice and thank God for being our shield, helper and glorious sword and helping us to tread on the heights of our enemies. But You, O Lord, are a shield for me, My glory and the One who lifts up my head - Psalm 3:3. The Lord had made them rejoice over their enemies - 2 Chronicles 20:27. My eyes have seen the downfall of my enemies - Psalm 92:11. Only with your eyes shall you look, And see the reward of the wicked - Psalm 91:7,8. They have bowed down and fallen; But we have risen and stand upright - Psalm 20:8.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are our shield, helper and glorious sword. We thank  You for helping us to tread upon the heights of our enemies. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Through The Lord’s Mercies We Are Not Consumed

Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning. Great is Your faithfulness - Lamentations 2:22, 23.

Great mercies

The Lord is gracious and full of compassion, Slow to anger and great in mercy - Psalm 145:8. For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is His mercy toward those who fear Him - Psalm 103:11. For great is Your mercy toward me - Psalm 86:13.

Abounding mercies

The Lord is merciful and gracious, Slow to anger, and abounding in mercy. He will not always strive with us, Nor will He keep His anger forever. He has not dealt with us according to our sins, Nor punished us according to our iniquities. For as the heavens are high above the earth, So great is His mercy toward those who fear Him; As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us - Psalm 103:12. For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more - Hebrews 8:12.

The Lord of Peace Himself Give You Peace Always In Every Way

Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way. The Lord be with you all - 2 Thessalonians 3:16.

The Lord of peace Himself will give us peace always in every way as we give thanks to Him, trust Him and love His Word. The Lord will bless His people with peace - Psalm 29:11.

Give thanks to God

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus - Philippians 4:6-7.

Trust God

You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed upon you, because he trusts in you. - Isaiah 26:3.

Your Father Knows What You Need Before You Ask Him

Your Father knows what you need before you ask him - Matthew 6:8.

Our God is such a good and loving Father who knows what we need even before we ask him. But the land you are entering to possess is a land of mountains and valleys, watered by rain from the sky. It is a land the LORD your God cares for. He is always watching over it from the beginning to the end of the year - Deuteronomy 11:11-12. bb

Birds

“Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? - Matthew 6:25-27. For life is more than food, and the body more than clothes. Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds! - Luke 12:23, 24.

Lilies

“So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?" - Matthew 6:28-30.

Seek first the kingdom of God

Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble - Matthew 6:31-34.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for being a good and loving Father who knows what we need even before we ask You. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

The Lord Surrounds His People

As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds his people both now and forevermore - Psalm 125:2.

God's unfailing love

God's unfailing love surrounds all whose hope is in Him. Let your unfailing love surround us, Lord, for our hope is in you alone - Psalm 33:22.

God’s favor

God’s favor surrounds all who are righteous as a shield. His favor is like a shield, like a protection around about us that shields us against the blows of life. For surely, O LORD, You bless the righteous; You surround them with Your favor as with a shield - Psalm 5:12.

God's protection

God's protection surrounds all those who fear Him from all harm, danger and evil. The angel of the LORD surrounds those who fear him, and he delivers them - Psalm 34:7.

You have surrounded me on every side, behind me and before me, and You have placed Your hand gently on my shoulder - Psalm 135:7.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for surrounding us with Your unfailing love, favor and protection. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

The Righteous Are Bold As A Lion

The righteous are bold as a lion - Proverbs 28:1.

We will be as bold as a lion and fearless when we are righteous. The lion is mighty among the beasts and it does not turn away from any. A lion, which is mighty among beasts And does not turn away from any - Proverbs 30:30. Nothing makes them afraid. Where is the dwelling of the lions, And the feeding place of the young lions, Where the lion walked, the lioness and lion’s cub, And no one made them afraid? The lion tore in pieces enough for his cubs, Killed for his lionesses, Filled his caves with prey, And his dens with flesh - Nahum 2:11,12.

Peter and John boldly spoke the word of God. Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus - Acts 4:13. They spoke the word of God with boldness - Acts 4:31. Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world - 1 John 4:16.

Let us be righteous and be bold and fearless as lions. God has not given us the spirit of fear, but He has given us the spirit of love, and of power, and of a sound mind - 2 Timothy 1:7. Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you - 1 Corinthians 15:58. Wait patiently for the LORD. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the LORD - Psalm 27:14. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world - John 16:33.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to be righteous and be bold and fearless as lion. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

For God To Hear Our Prayer

In my distress I called upon the Lord; to my God I cried for help. From his temple he heard my voice, and my cry to him reached his ears - Psalm 18:6.

Be Humble & Pray

Lord, You have heard the desire of the humble - Psalm 10:17. He does not forget the cry of the humble - Psalm 9:12.

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land - 2 Chronicles 7:13-14.

Call on him in truth

The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth - Psalm 145:18.

Be righteous

For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are open to their prayer - 1 Peter 3:12. The Lord is far from the wicked, but he hears the prayer of the righteous - Proverbs 15:29.

God hears the cry of those who fear Him

He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He also will hear their cry and save them - Psalm 145:19.

Ask God with no iniquity

If I regard iniquity in my heart, The Lord will not hear - Psalm 66:18.

Help the poor

Whoever shuts their ears to the cry of the poor will also cry out and not be answered - Proverbs 21:13.

Ask in faith

But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. For that person must not suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways - James 1:6-8.

Ask God with right motives

You do not have because you do not ask God. When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures - James 4:2, 3.

Ask according to His will

Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us - 1 John 5:14.

Believe that you have received

Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours - Mark 11:24.

Forgive others and pray

And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins - Mark 11:25.

Wives, submit to husband & Husbands, give honor to wife for prayers not to be hindered

For in this manner, in former times, the holy women who trusted in God also adorned themselves, being submissive to their own husbands, as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord, whose daughters you are if you do good and are not afraid with any terror. Husbands, likewise, dwell with them with understanding, giving honor to the wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered - 1 Peter 3:5-7.

Delight yourself in the Lord

Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart - Psalm 37:4.

I love the Lord, because He has heard My voice and my supplications. Because He has inclined His ear to me, Therefore I will call upon Him as long as I live - Psalm 116:1,2.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for hearing our prayers. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

A Woman of Faith:Jochebed

Walk by faith, not by sight - 2 Corinthians 5:7.

Jochebed was a godly mother who saved the life of her son Moses by faith. She was an Israelite and also a member of the tribe of Levi. The name of Amram’s wife was Jochebed the daughter of Levi, who was born to Levi in Egypt; and to Amram she bore Aaron and Moses and their sister Miriam - Numbers 26:59. Moses was born during difficult times when Pharaoh commanded every son to be cast into the river. So Pharaoh commanded all his people, saying, “Every son who is born you shall cast into the river, and every daughter you shall save alive" - Exodus 1:22. But Jochebed was not afraid of the king’s command as she trusted God.  We ought to obey God rather than men - Acts 5:29b. The fear of man brings a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord shall be safe - Proverbs 29:25.

By faith, Jochebed hid Moses three months and then took an ark of bulrushes for him, daubed it with asphalt and pitch, put him in it, and laid it in the reeds by the river’s bank. By faith Moses, when he was born, was hidden three months by his parents, because they saw he was a beautiful child; and they were not afraid of the king’s command - Hebrews 11:23. And a man of the house of Levi went and took as wife a daughter of Levi. So the woman conceived and bore a son. And when she saw that he was a beautiful child, she hid him three months. But when she could no longer hide him, she took an ark of bulrushes for him, daubed it with asphalt and pitch, put the child in it, and laid it in the reeds by the river’s bank - Exodus 2:1-3.

Jochebed prepared Moses for the calling of God to lead Israelites out of Egyptian bondage. Her  example of faith turned Moses into a man of faith and he grew up knowing God. He became a great man of God and delivered Israelites from Egypt and fulfilled God's purpose. By faith Moses, when he became of age, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter, choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the passing pleasures of sin, esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt; for he looked to the reward. By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured as seeing Him who is invisible - Hebrews 11:24-27.
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen - Hebrews 11:1.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us walk by faith and not by sight. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
