Honor God

For those who honor Me I will honor - 1 Samuel 2:30.

By thank offerings

Those who sacrifice thank offerings honor me - Psalm 50:23.

By possessions

Honor the Lord with your possessions, and with the first fruits of all your increase; So your barns will be filled with plenty, And your vats will overflow with new wine - Proverbs 3:9,10.

By hearts & not by mouth

In your hearts honor Christ, the Lord as holy - 1Peter 3:15. These people come near to me with their mouth and honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me - Isaiah 29:13

By caring our physical bodies

Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies - 1 Corinthians 6:19-20.

By serving God

If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor - John 12:26.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us honor You by our thank offerings, by our possessions, by our hearts, by caring our physical bodies and by serving You. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Be Still And Know That I Am God

Be still, and know that I am God - Psalm 46:10.

The city of Jericho was surrounded by walls and no one was able to get in. Now Jericho was shut up inside and outside because of the people of Israel. None went out, and none came in. And the Lord said to Joshua, “See, I have given Jericho into your hand, with its king and mighty men of valo"r - Joshua 6:1,2. God promised Israelites that He had given Jericho into their hand and He gave Joshua very specific instructions on what to do for the walls of Jericho to collapse.

Be still

Joshua commanded the people not to shout or make any voice heard until he command them to shout for the walls of Jericho to fell down. Now Joshua had commanded the people, saying, “You shall not shout or make any noise with your voice, nor shall a word proceed out of your mouth, until the day I say to you, ‘Shout!’ Then you shall shout.” - Joshua 6:10.

Know that I am God

On the seventh day the walls of Jericho fell by the power of God as the Israelites were obedient to what God instructed. So the people shouted when the priests blew the trumpets. And it happened when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat. Then the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city. And they utterly destroyed all that was in the city, both man and woman, young and old, ox and sheep and donkey, with the edge of the sword - Joshua 6:20,21.

Like Israelites, God wants us to be still and know that He is God. When God is working, we need to be still by stop speaking, stop worrying but instead obey and trust Him. For God to break obstacles and His fulfill promises in our life, let us be still and know that He is God. Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass. He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, And your justice as the noonday. Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him - Psalm 37:4-7.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us be still and know that You are God. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Set Free

So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed - John 8:36.

We need to stand firm and do not let ourselves burdened again by a yoke of slavery but live in freedom as Christ has set us free. It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery - Galatians 5:1. You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness - Romans 6:18.

Know the truth

You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free - John 8:32. I run in the path of Your commands, for You have set my heart free - Psalm 119:32.

Pray to God

Out of my distress I called on the Lord; the Lord answered me and set me free - Psalm 118:5.

Be filled with the Holy Spirit

Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty - 2 Corinthians 3:17.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for setting us free. Let us stand firm and do not let ourselves burdened again by the yoke of slavery. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

God of Protection

The LORD will protect you from all evil; He will keep your soul. The LORD will guard your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forever - Psalm 121:7–8.

God protects all those who are faithful to Him, fear Him and all those who are righteous as a shield and refuge. Let those who love the LORD hate evil, for he guards the lives of his faithful ones and delivers them - Psalm 97:10. The angel of the LORD surrounds those who fear him, and he delivers them - Psalm 34:7. For surely, O LORD, You bless the righteous; You surround them with Your favor as with a shield - Psalm 5:12.

As a shield

He is a shield to all who trust in Him - Psalm 18:30. But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you. Surely, Lord, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield - Psalm 5:11-12. The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; therefore my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song I will praise Him - Psalm 28:7.

As a refuge

God is my refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble - Psalm 46:1. For You have been a strength to the poor, A strength to the needy in his distress, A refuge from the storm, A shade from the heat - Isaiah 25:4. Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler And from the perilous pestilence. He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge - Psalm 91:3.4. Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful to me! For my soul trusts in You; And in the shadow of Your wings I will make my refuge, Until these calamities have passed by - Psalm 57:1.

Let us thank our God of protection for protecting us as a shield and refuge. God protects all those who are faithful to Him, fear him and all those who are righteous as a shield and refuge.  You have surrounded me on every side, behind me and before me, and You have placed Your hand gently on my shoulder - Psalm 135:7. Keep me as the apple of Your eye; Hide me under the shadow of Your wings - Psalm 17:8.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are the God of Protection. We thank You for protecting us from all evil as a shield and refuge. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

God Anointed Us

And it is God who establishes us with you in Christ, and has anointed us, and who has also put his seal on us and given us his Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee - 2 Corinthians 1:21–22.

The Lord saves His anointed

Now I know that the Lord saves His anointed; He will answer him from His holy heaven With the saving strength of His right hand - Psalm 20:6.

Anointed are filled with the Holy Spirit and with power

God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him - Acts10:38.

All things are taught to Anointed

But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him - 1 John 2:27.

All things are known to Anointed

But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things - 1 John 2:20.

God is the saving refuge of His anointed

The Lord is their strength, And He is the saving refuge of His anointed - Psalm 28:7.

Yoke destroyed for Anointed

The yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing - Isaiah 10:27.

Anointed to preach good tidings to the poor; to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives & to open the prison to those who are bound

The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, Because the Lord has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound - Isaiah 61:1.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for anointing us to preach good tidings to the poor,  to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

The More They Afflicted Them, The More They Multiplied And Grew

But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and grew - Exodus 1:12.

The land of Egypt was filled with Israelites as they were fruitful, increased abundantly, multiplied and grew exceedingly mighty. The children of Israel were fruitful and increased abundantly, multiplied and grew exceedingly mighty; and the land was filled with them. Now there arose a new king over Egypt, who did not know Joseph. And he said to his people, “Look, the people of the children of Israel are more and mightier than we - Exodus 7:7-9.

So, the Israelites were oppressed by the Egyptians and their lives were made bitter. So they put slave masters over them to oppress them with forced labor, and they built Pithom and Rameses as store cities for Pharaoh. They made their lives bitter with harsh labor in brick and mortar and with all kinds of work in the fields; in all their harsh labor the Egyptians worked them ruthlessly - Exodus 1:11,14.

Israelites, in the midst of their slavery not only multiplied in their affliction but also continued to grow very mighty. God made a way for them to multiply as the midwives who feared God saved the male children alive. But the midwives feared God, and did not do as the king of Egypt commanded them, but saved the male children alive. Therefore God dealt well with the midwives, and the people multiplied and grew very mighty - Exodus 1:17, 20. He increased His people greatly, And made them stronger than their enemies - Psalm 105:24.

The more Pharaoh and the Egyptians afflicted Israelites, the more they multiplied and spread.  God fulfilled His promise of blessing and multiplying them. Look now toward heaven, and count the stars if you are able to number them.” And He said to him, “So shall your descendants be - Genesis 15:5. We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed - 2 Corinthians 4:8.

The more we are afflicted, the more we will multiply and grow as God will provide a way for us to increase and fulfill His promise. For I will look on you favorably and make you fruitful, multiply you and confirm My covenant with you - Leviticus 26:9. For you shall expand to the right and to the left, And your descendants will inherit the nations, And make the desolate cities inhabited - Isaiah 54:3.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for blessing us and helping us to multiply and grow in midst of afflictions. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Ask What You Desire And It Shall Be Done For You

If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you - John 15:7.

If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you

Walk just as He walked

He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked - 1 John 2:6.

Abide in love

God is love, and He who abides in love abides in God, and God in him - 1 John 4:16. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres - 1 Corinthians 13:4-7.

Keep His commandments

He who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him - 1 John 3:24.

Bear much fruit

As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing - John 15:4, 5.

You will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you

Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart - Psalm 37:4. Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him! - Matthew 7:7-11.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us abide in You and let Your words abide in us, so that when we ask what we desire, You will do it for us. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Seek God's Guidance

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye - Psalm 32:8.

Our God guides us with His eye in right paths. As we seek God's guidance, He will show us either to go right or go left when we do not know which way to turn. Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” Whenever you turn to the right hand Or whenever you turn to the left - Isaiah 30:21.

Jesus instructed and directed Simon to launch out into the deep and let down his nets for a catch. When He had stopped speaking, He said to Simon, “Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.” - Luke 5:4. But Simon answered and said to Him, “Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless at Your word I will let down the net.”

Simon Peter caught a great number of fish as he obeyed and followed the guidance of Jesus when He told him to throw the net in deep waters. They caught a great number of fish when they let down the net into deep water as told by Jesus.  And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish, and their net was breaking. So they signaled to their partners in the other boat to come and help them. And they came and filled both the boats, so that they began to sink - Luke 5:5-7.

In every decision of our life, let us hear God’s voice who guides us and directs us in the right way to walk and be greatly blessed. For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."- Jeremiah 29:11. Trust in the Lord with all your heart,  And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths - Proverbs 3:5, 6.

PRAYER:Dear Lord, Let us seek Your guidance in every decision of our life. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

The LORD Will Lead You

The LORD will lead you. He himself is with you. He will not fail you or leave you - Deuteronomy 31:8.

He directs our steps and delights in every detail of our lives. The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, And He delights in his way - Psalm 37:23.

No one is needed to teach us as the anointing which we have received from God will lead us and teach us all things and we will know all things. But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him - 1 John 2:27. But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things - 1 John 2:20.

For this command is a lamp, this teaching is a light, and correction and instruction are the way to life - Proverbs 6:23. And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of cloud to lead the way, and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so as to go by day and night - Exodus 13:21. I will go before you and make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze and cut the bars of iron - Isaiah 45:2.
