Great And Marvelous Are Your Works Lord God Almighty

 Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God Almighty! - Revelation 15:3. 

Great are Your works       

                    You who have done great things; O God, who is like You? - Psalm 71:19. For He who is mighty has done great things for me - Luke 1:49. He does great things beyond our understanding - Job 37:5. Do not be afraid, land of Judah; be glad and rejoice. Surely the Lord has done great things! - Joel 2:21. It was your own eyes that saw all these great things the Lord has done - Deuteronomy 11:7.

Marvelous are Your works

                   The Lord has done marvelous things! - Joel 2:21. I will show them marvelous things - Micah 7:15. For you are great and do marvelous deeds; you alone are God - Psalm 86:10. Oh, sing to the Lord a new song! For He has done marvelous things - Psalm 98:1.  But as for me, I would seek God, And to God I would commit my cause - Who does great things, and unsearchable, marvelous things without number - Job 5:8,9. 

Remember His great and marvelous works 

        Great are the works of the LORD; they are pondered by all who delight in them - Psalm 111:12. Remember His marvelous works which He has done -1 Chronicles 16:12. He has made His wonderful works to be remembered - Psalm 111:4. Come and see the works of God; He is awesome in His doing toward the sons of men - Psalm 66:5.  

Thank God who made us glad through His great and marvelous works 

                   Let us thank God who had made us glad through His great and marvelous works. For You, Lord, have made me glad through Your work; I will triumph in the works of Your hands - Psalm 92:4. The Lord has done great things for us, And we are glad - Psalm 126:1-3. How many are your works, LORD! - Psalm 104:24.  I will praise You, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will tell of all Your marvelous works - Psalm 9:1.

God’s Love

God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us - Romans 5:5.

Love of Christ which passes knowledge

            Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height - to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God - Ephesians 3:17-19.

Never Ending Love

           The faithful love of the LORD never ends! His mercies never cease - Lamentations 3:22. The faithful love of the LORD never ends! His mercies never cease - Lamentations 3:22. I have loved you with an everlasting love - Jeremiah 31:3. 

Unfailing Love

         How priceless is your unfailing love, O God! - Psalm 36:7. I will be glad and rejoice in Your unfailing love, for You have seen my troubles, and You care about the anguish of my soul - Psalm 31:7.   

Great love

           But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions - it is by grace you have been saved - Ephesians 2:4,5.

                                                                         

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for Your love that passes our knowledge, never ending, unfailing and great. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Walk In His ways

Blessed is everyone who fears the Lord, who walks in His ways - Psalm 128:1.

                    God requires us to walk in His ways as His ways are righteous, perfect, higher, blameless and gives strength for the upright. And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you, but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways and to love Him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul - Deuteronomy 10:12. 

His ways are righteous

The LORD is righteous in all his ways and kind in all his works - Psalm 145:17.

His ways are perfect

As for God, His ways are perfect; the word of the Lord is tried. He is a buckler to all those that trust in Him- Psalm 18:30.

His ways are higher

For as the heavens are higher than the earth so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts - Isaiah 55:9.

His ways are blameless 

As for God, His way is blameless - Psalm 18:30.

His ways are strength for the upright 

The way of the Lord is strength for the upright - ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭10‬:‭29‬.

 Teach me your way, O LORD, and I will walk in your truth; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name - Psalm 86:11.

Teach me Your way, O Lord, and lead me in a smooth path, because of my enemies - Psalm 27:11.

Show me Your ways, O Lord, Teach me your paths -  Psalm 25:4.

PRAYER: Dear Lord,  Help us to walk in your ways as your ways are righteous, perfect, higher, blameless and gives strength to us. In Jesus name, we pray. Amen.

Sing Praises To Our God

         Praise the Lord! For it is good to sing praises to our God; For it is pleasant, and praise is beautiful - Psalm 147:1.

         We sing praises to our God with rejoicing and thanksgiving. Sing praises to God, sing praises! Sing praises to our King, sing praises! - Psalm 47:6. Shout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth; Break forth in song, rejoice, and sing praises - Psalm 98:4. I will praise the name of God with a song, And will magnify Him with thanksgiving - Psalm 69:30. 

          We need to sing praises with the spirit and understanding. I will sing praise with the spirit, & I will also sing praise with my understanding - 1 corinthians 14:15. O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory; awake psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early - Psalm 108:1–2.

         Let us sing praises to our God with a new song. Rejoice in the Lord, O you righteous! For praise from the upright is beautiful. Praise the Lord with the harp; Make melody to Him with an instrument of ten strings. Sing to Him a new song; Play skillfully with a shout of joy - Psalm 33:1-3.

The Most High

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty - Psalm 91:1.

The Most High over all the earth 

That they may know that You, whose name alone is the Lord, Are the Most High over all the earth - Psalm 83:18.

God Most High, the Possessor of heaven and earth

 I have raised my hand to the Lord, God Most High, the Possessor of heaven and earth - Genesis 14:22.

The Lord Most High is awesome

For the Lord Most High is awesome; He is a great King over all the earth - Psalm 97:9.

The Most High God Redeemer

Then they remembered that God was their rock, And the Most High God their Redeemer - Psalm 78:35.

The Most High God who performs all things for me

I will cry out to God Most High, To God who performs all things for me - Psalm 57:2.

I will sing praise to the name of the Lord, the Most High 

I will give to the Lord the thanks due to his righteousness, and I will sing praise to the name of the Lord, the Most High - Psalm 7:17.  

                                                                 

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are the Most High God. We thank You and sing praises to Your name. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

I Lack Nothing

 The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing - Psalm 23:1.

         We lack nothing as the Lord is our shepherd and provider. There is no lack for all those who fear the Lord, seek Him, walk uprightly and give to the poor.

Our Shepherd

         The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters - Psalm 23:1,2.  

Our Provider

          So Abraham called that place The Lord Will Provide. And to this day it is said, “On the mountain of the Lord it will be provided.” - Genesis 22:14.          

Fear the Lord

           Fear the Lord, you his holy people, for those who fear him lack nothing - Psalm 34:9.

Seek the Lord

           The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing - Psalm 34:10.

Walk uprightly

            For the Lord God is a sun and shield; The Lord will give grace and glory; No good thing will He withhold From those who walk uprightly - Psalm 84:11. I have been young, and now am old; Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his descendants begging bread - Psalm 37:25.

Give to the poor

            He who gives to the poor will not lack, But he who hides his eyes will have many curses - Proverbs 28:27.                                                                            

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We lack nothing as You are our Shepherd and our Provider. Let us fear You, seek You, walk uprightly and give to the poor. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.    

God's Favor, Fruitfulness & Multiplication

 For I will look on you favorably and make you fruitful, multiply you and confirm My covenant with you - Leviticus 26:9.

I will look on you favorably 

For His anger lasts only a moment, but His favor lasts a lifetime - Psalm 30:5.

A good man obtains favor from the Lord - Proverbs 12:2. For whoever finds me finds life, and obtains favor from the Lord - Proverbs 8:35.

Make you fruitful

I will make you exceedingly fruitful, and I will make you into nations, and kings shall come from you - Genesis 17:6.

Multiply you     

Multiply you and confirm My covenant with you 

I will surely bless you and multiply you - Hebrews 6:14. 

For you shall expand to the right and to the left, And your descendants will inherit the nations, And make the desolate cities inhabited - Isaiah 65:3.                                                         

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for looking on us favorably, making us fruitful and multiplying us. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

I Will Praise The Lord Who Counsels Me

               I will praise the LORD, who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me - Psalm 16:7.

             Our God is a wonderful counselor and His counsel stands forever. There are many plans in a man’s heart, nevertheless the Lord’s counsel - that will stand - Proverbs 19:21. The counsel of the Lord stands forever, the plans of His heart to all generations - Psalm 33:11. Counsel is mine and sound wisdom; I am understanding, power is mine - Proverbs 8:14.  

              God counsels us all things with His loving eye on us. I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.- Psalm 32:8. Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” Whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left - Isaiah 30:21. But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things - John 14:26.  

              Let us thank God for His counsels to us. Lord, You are my God. I will exalt You, I will praise Your name, For You have done wonderful things; Your counsels of old are faithfulness and truth - Isaiah 25:1. Your statutes are my delight; they are my counselors - Psalm 119:24. You guide me with your counsel - Psalm 73:24.                                                            

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You and praise You for Your wonderful counsels for us that stands forever. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Name That Is Above Every Name

Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every                                                       name - Philippians 2:9.

 El Roi (The God Who Sees)

                  “Thereafter, Hagar used another name to refer to the LORD, who had spoken to her. She said, You are the God who sees me. She also said, have I truly seen the One who sees me? - Genesis 16:13.

Elohim: (The All-Powerful Creator)

                 Ah, Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You - Jeremiah 32:17.

El Shaddai (God Almighty)

                   When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him, “I am Almighty God; walk before Me and be blameless - Genesis 17:1.

El Elyon (The Most High God)

                   I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing the praises of your name, O Most High - Psalm 9:2.

El Olam (The Everlasting God)

                Abraham planted a tamarisk tree in Beersheba, and there he called on the name of the LORD, the Eternal God - Genesis 21:33.

Immanuel (God with us)

                 Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us - Matthew 1:23.

Adonai: The Owner of All

                The LORD is on high above all the earth: he is exalted far above all gods - Psalm 97:5. The earth is the LORD’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it - Psalm 24:1.

Jehovah-jireh: “The Lord will provide”

                And Abraham called the name of the place, The-Lord-Will-Provide; as it is said to this day, “In the Mount of the Lord it shall be provided” - Genesis 22:14

Jehovah-rapha: “The Lord who heals”

                 If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you - Exodus 15:26.

Jehovah-nissi: “The Lord is my banner”

                And Moses built an altar and called its name, The-Lord-Is-My-Banner - Exodus 17:15

Jehovah-m’kaddesh: “The Lord who sanctifies”

                 And you shall keep My statutes, and perform them: I am the Lord who sanctifies you - Leviticus 20:8.

Jehovah-shalom: “The Lord is peace”

                 So Gideon built an altar there to the Lord, and called it The-Lord-Is-Peace. To this day it is still in Ophrah of the Abiezrites - Judges 6:24.

Jehovah-tsidkenu: “The Lord our righteousness”

                 In His days Judah will be saved, And Israel will dwell safely; Now this is His name by which He will be called: THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS - Jeremiah 23:6.

Jehovah-rohi: “The Lord our shepherd”

                The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want - Psalm 23:1.

Jehovah-shammah: “The Lord is there”

                All the way around shall be eighteen thousand cubits; and the name of the city from that day shall be: "THE LORD IS THERE”- Ezekiel 48:35.

                                                                

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Your name is above all names. We praise You and exalt Your name. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Joy & Rest In The Presence of God

    Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms - Psalm 95:2.

         There is joy and rest in the presence of God. For You have made him most blessed forever; You have made him exceedingly glad with Your presence - Psalm 21:6. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you - James 4:8. 

Joy

In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are Your pleasures forevermore - Psalm 16:11.  You will make me full of joy in Your presence - Acts 2:28. Splendor and majesty are before Him; strength and joy are in His dwelling place - 1 Chronicles 16:27b.

Rest

Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest - Matthew 11:28. My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest - Exodus 33:14.                                                               

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We come before Your presence with thanksgiving. We thank You for the joy and rest that is in Your presence. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

             

The Lord Is My Strength In Whom I Will Trust

The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust - Psalm 18:2.

           God is our strength of our heart in whom we trust. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever - Psalm 73:26. He is our strength in our weaknesses. My grace is sufficient for you, for my strength is made perfect in weakness - 2 Corinthians 12:9. 

             We are helped as we trust God who is our strength. The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; therefore my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song I will praise Him. The LORD is their strength, and He is the saving refuge of His anointed - Psalm 28:7-8.

           Let us trust and thank God who is our strength. Blessed is the man whose strength is in You - Psalm 84:5. The Lord is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation; this is my God, and I will praise him, my father's God, and I will exalt him - Exodus 15:2. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength - Nehemiah 8:10.

Pillar of Cloud & Pillar of Fire

By a pillar of cloud you led them in the day, and by a pillar of fire in the night to light for them the way in which they should go - Nehemiah 9:12.

By day & night

            God guided the Israelites by pillar of cloud in the day and pillar of fire in the night. And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of cloud to lead them along the way, and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, that they might travel by day and by night. The pillar of cloud by day and the pillar of fire by night did not depart from before the people - Exodus 13:21-22.

 Throughout all their journeys

     God guided the Israelites throughout all their journeys by pillar of cloud and pillar of fire. Throughout all their journeys, whenever the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the people of Israel would set out. But if the cloud was not taken up, then they did not set out till the day that it was taken up. For the cloud of the Lord was on the tabernacle by day, and fire was in it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel throughout all their journeys - Exodus 40:36-38.

           God will guide us everyday continually throughout all our journeys in our life like how he guided the Israelites day and night by pillar of Cloud & pillar of Fire. He guided them with the cloud by day and with light from the fire all night - Psalm 78:14. The LORD will guide you continually, And satisfy your soul in drought, And strengthen your bones; You shall be like a watered garden, And like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail - Isaiah 58:11.                                                                                    

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You and praise you for guiding us everyday throughout our life. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Strength & Peace

 The Lord gives strength to his people; the Lord blesses his people with peace - Psalm 29:11.

 The Lord gives strength to his people

In Your hand is power and might; in Your hand it is to make great and to give strength to all - 1 Chronicles 29:12. He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength - Isaiah 40:29.  It is God who arms me with strength, and makes my way perfect - Psalm 18:32. Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord! - Psalm 27:14.

The Lord blesses his people with peace

You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You - Isaiah 26:3. The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace - Numbers 6:24-26. Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way. The Lord be with you all - 2 Thessalonians 3:16. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give it to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled, do not be afraid - John 14:27.                                                                 

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for giving us strength and blessing us with peace. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen. 

The Lord Will Guide You Continually

 The Lord will guide you continually, And satisfy your soul in drought, And strengthen your bones; You shall be like a watered garden, And like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail - Isaiah 58:11.

                God guides us continually, satisfies our needs in drought and renews our strength. He waters every part of our life and flourishes us. He makes us to be well-watered garden that brings life and a spring that overflows. He not only refreshes us but allows us opportunities to refresh others. We will be a spring of water, that never runs dry in any season and we will be a blessing to many around us. It is a land the Lord your God cares for; the eyes of the Lord your God are continually on it from the beginning of the year to its end - Deuteronomy 11:12.

Continual guidance: The Lord will guide you continually

And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, 'This is the way, walk in it,' when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left - Isaiah 30:21.

Satisfies us: Satisfy your soul in drought

For he satisfies the longing soul, and the hungry soul he fills with good things - Psalm 107:9.

Strengthens us: Strengthen your bones

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.- 2 Corinthians 12:9.

Flourishes us: You shall be like a watered garden

He is like a tree planted by streams of water, that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers - Psalm 1:3.

Unfailing Supply: Like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail

 I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing - Genesis 12:2.

                                                                  

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for Your continual guidance in our life and promise of renewal. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Praise The Name of God

 I will praise the name of God with a song, And will magnify Him with thanksgiving - Psalm 69:30.

              The name of our Lord alone is exalted and His glory is above the earth and heaven and so let us praise His name. Let them praise the name of the Lord, For His name alone is exalted; His glory is above the earth and heaven - Psalm 148:13. I will give to the Lord the thanks due to his righteousness, and I will sing praise to the name of the Lord, the Most High - Psalm 7:17. 

              God had done wonderful things in our life and so let us praise the name of God. O Lord, You are my God. I will exalt You, I will praise Your name, For You have done wonderful things; Your counsels of old are faithfulness and truth - Isaiah 25:1. My mouth shall speak the praise of the Lord, and all flesh shall bless His holy name forever and ever - Psalm 145:21.

               Let us praise the name of the Lord forever and ever. Every day I will bless you, and I will praise your name forever and ever - Psalm 145:2. Blessed be the name of the Lord - Job 1:21. Blessed be the name of God forever and ever, for wisdom and might are His - Daniel 2:20. Blessed be the name of the Lord from this time forth and forever - Psalm 113:2.

Blessed Is The Man Whose Strength Is In You

Blessed is the man whose strength is in You, Whose heart is set on pilgrimage. As they pass through the Valley of Baca, They make it a spring; The rain also covers it with pools. They go from strength to strength - Psalm 84:5-7.        

The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? - Psalm 27:1.

The LORD is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation - Psalm 118:14.

But the salvation of the righteous is from the LORD; He is their strength in time of trouble - Psalm 37:39.

I will love You, O LORD, my strength. The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold - Psalm 18:1-2.

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O LORD, my strength and my Redeemer - Psalm 19:14.

But You, O LORD, do not be far from Me; O My Strength, hasten to help Me! - Psalm 22:19.

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble - Psalm 46:1.

I will go in the strength of the Lord GOD; I will make mention of Your righteousness, of Yours only - Psalm 71:16.

My flesh and my heart fail; but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. - Psalm 73:26.

The LORD is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation; He is my God, and I will praise Him; my father’s God, and I will exalt Him - Exodus 15:2.

The God of my strength, in whom I will trust; my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold and my refuge; my Savior, You save me from violence - 2 Samuel 22:3.

Seek the LORD and His strength; seek His face evermore! - 1 Chronicles 16:11.

The joy of the LORD is your strength - Nehemiah 8:10.

Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; ‘For YAH, the LORD, is my strength and song; He also has become my salvation” - Isaiah 12:2.

The LORD God is my strength; He will make my feet like deer’s feet, and He will make me walk on my high hills - Habakkuk 3:19.

The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; therefore my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song I will praise Him. The LORD is their strength, and He is the saving refuge of His anointed - Psalm 28:7-8.

The Spirit of Wisdom And Revelation In The knowledge of Him & The Eyes of Understanding

The God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened - Ephesians 1:17, 18.

The spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him

God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God - 1 Corinthians 2:10

Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ - 2 Peter 3:10. 

But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things - 1 John 2:20. 

I will give you the treasures of darkness And hidden riches of secret places, That you may know that I, the Lord, Who call you by your name, Am the God of Israel - Isaiah 45:3.

The eyes of our understanding being enlightened     

I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe - Ephesians 1:18-19.

The hope of our calling - To know the purpose of God saving us and His calling for us

The riches of His glory of His inheritance -  The more we understand the depth of His glory, the more we understand how wide, long, high, and deep his love is and the more our faith grows. 

The surpassing greatness of His power towards us - To know how God had empowered us with spiritual gifts and authority through the Holy Spirit for all who believe Him. 

                 Open my eyes, that I may see wondrous things from Your law - Psalm 119:18.                                                             

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Give us the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You and enlighten the eyes of our understanding. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Be Strong And Courageous

                                               Be strong and courageous - Joshua 1:6.

                Joshua succeeded Moses in leading the Israelites into the Promised Land after their forty years of wandering in the desert. God encouraged Joshua three times to be strong and courageous while promising him victory. Now therefore, arise, go over this Jordan, you and all this people, to the land which I am giving to them - the children of Israel - Joshua 1:2.

Be strong and courageous - In Leadership 

God commanded Joshua to be strong and courageous since He had promised that He will be with him as He had been with Moses. He will not fail him nor forsake him and no man will be able to stand before him all the days of his life.

No man will be able to stand before you all the days of your life. Just as I have been with Moses, I will be with you; I will not fail you or forsake you. Be strong and courageous, for you shall give this people possession of the land which I swore to their fathers to give them - Joshua 1:5-6.

Be strong and courageous - Obedience to God's Word

God commanded Joshua to be strong and courageous and provided the assurance of success if they   obey to His Word.

Only be strong and very courageous; be careful to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, so that you may have success wherever you go. This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success - Joshua 1:7-8.

Be strong and courageous - For the journey

God commanded Joshua to be strong and courageous and not to fear as He will be with him wherever he goes in the journey. 

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go - Joshua 1:9.                                                                       

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us be strong and courageous as You are always with us and You will never fail us nor forsake us. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen. 

Honor God

                                       For those who honor Me I will honor - 1 Samuel 2:30.    

By thank offerings

           Those who sacrifice thank offerings honor me - Psalm 50:23.

By possessions

           Honor the Lord with your possessions, and with the first fruits of all your increase; So your barns will be filled with plenty, And your vats will overflow with new wine - Proverbs 3:9,10.

By hearts & not by mouth

           In your hearts honor Christ, the Lord as holy - 1Peter 3:15. These people come near to me with their mouth and honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me - Isaiah 29:13

By caring our physical bodies

         Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies - 1 Corinthians 6:19-20.

By serving God

         If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor - John 12:26.                                                                      

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us honor You by our thank offerings, by our possessions, by our hearts, by caring our physical bodies and by serving You. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen. 

Be Still And Know That I Am God

Be still, and know that I am God - Psalm 46:10.

          The city of Jericho was surrounded by walls and no one was able to get in. Now Jericho was shut up inside and outside because of the people of Israel. None went out, and none came in. And the Lord said to Joshua, “See, I have given Jericho into your hand, with its king and mighty men of valo"r - Joshua 6:1,2. God promised Israelites that He had given Jericho into their hand and He gave Joshua very specific instructions on what to do for the walls of Jericho to collapse.

Be still

          Joshua commanded the people not to shout or make any voice heard until he command them to shout for the walls of Jericho to fell down. Now Joshua had commanded the people, saying, “You shall not shout or make any noise with your voice, nor shall a word proceed out of your mouth, until the day I say to you, ‘Shout!’ Then you shall shout.” - Joshua 6:10.           

Know that I am God 

           On the seventh day the walls of Jericho fell by the power of God as the Israelites were obedient to what God instructed. So the people shouted when the priests blew the trumpets. And it happened when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat. Then the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city. And they utterly destroyed all that was in the city, both man and woman, young and old, ox and sheep and donkey, with the edge of the sword - Joshua 6:20,21.

           Like Israelites, God wants us to be still and know that He is God. When God is working, we need to be still by stop speaking, stop worrying but instead obey and trust Him. For God to break obstacles and His fulfill promises in our life, let us be still and know that He is God. Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass. He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, And your justice as the noonday. Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him - Psalm 37:4-7.                                                                          

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us be still and know that You are God. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Set Free

So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed - John 8:36.

       We need to stand firm and do not let ourselves burdened again by a yoke of slavery but live in freedom as Christ has set us free. It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery - Galatians 5:1. You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness - Romans 6:18.

Know the truth

     You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free - John 8:32. I run in the path of Your commands, for You have set my heart free - Psalm 119:32.     

Pray to God

        Out of my distress I called on the Lord; the Lord answered me and set me free - Psalm 118:5.

Be filled with the Holy Spirit

        Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty - 2 Corinthians 3:17.                                                                                     

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for setting us free. Let us stand firm and do not let ourselves burdened again by the yoke of slavery. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

God of Protection

The LORD will protect you from all evil; He will keep your soul. The LORD will guard your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forever - Psalm 121:7–8.         

             God protects all those who are faithful to Him, fear Him and all those who are righteous as a shield and refuge. Let those who love the LORD hate evil, for he guards the lives of his faithful ones and delivers them - Psalm 97:10. The angel of the LORD surrounds those who fear him, and he delivers them - Psalm 34:7. For surely, O LORD, You bless the righteous; You surround them with Your favor as with a shield - Psalm 5:12.     

As a shield

               He is a shield to all who trust in Him - Psalm 18:30. But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you. Surely, Lord, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield - Psalm 5:11-12. The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; therefore my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song I will praise Him - Psalm 28:7. 

As a refuge

                 God is my refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble - Psalm 46:1. For You have been a strength to the poor, A strength to the needy in his distress, A refuge from the storm, A shade from the heat - Isaiah 25:4. Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler And from the perilous pestilence. He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge - Psalm 91:3.4. Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful to me! For my soul trusts in You; And in the shadow of Your wings I will make my refuge, Until these calamities have passed by - Psalm 57:1.

            Let us thank our God of protection for protecting us as a shield and refuge. God protects all those who are faithful to Him, fear him and all those who are righteous as a shield and refuge.  You have surrounded me on every side, behind me and before me, and You have placed Your hand gently on my shoulder - Psalm 135:7. Keep me as the apple of Your eye; Hide me under the shadow of Your wings - Psalm 17:8.
