Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful - Hebrews 10:23.
By faith, Sarah considered God who had promised her is faithful. And by faith even Sarah, who was past childbearing age, was enabled to bear children because she considered him faithful who had made the promise - Hebrews 11;11.
By faith, Abraham believed that God who had promised was able to perform miracles irrespective of his situations. And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb. He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform - Romans 4:19-21.
Like Abraham and Sarah, let us also hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering for He who promised is faithful. The Lord is trustworthy in all He promises and faithful in all he does - Psalm 145:13. I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you - Genesis 12:15.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You as You are faithful to fulfill all the promises in our life. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
