Not By Might Nor By Power But By My Spirit

Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,' says the Lord of hosts - Zechariah 4:6.

The angel of the appeared to Gideon and told that he will save Israel from the hand of Midianites. And the Angel of the Lord appeared to him, and said to him, “The Lord is with you, you mighty man of valor!” - Judges 6:11–12. Then the Lord turned to him and said, “Go in this might of yours, and you shall save Israel from the hand of the Midianites. Have I not sent you?”. So he said to Him, “O my Lord, how can I save Israel? Indeed my clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father’s house.” And the Lord said to him, “Surely I will be with you, and you shall defeat the Midianites as one man”- Judges 6:14-16.

Gideon saved Israel from the hand of Midianites with three hundred men. Then the three companies blew the trumpets and broke the pitchers - they held the torches in their left hands and the trumpets in their right hands for blowing - and they cried, “The sword of the Lord and of Gideon!” .  And every man stood in his place all around the camp; and the whole army ran and cried out and fled. When the three hundred blew the trumpets, the Lord set every man’s sword against his companion throughout the whole camp; and the army fled to Beth Acacia, toward Zererah, as far as the border of Abel Meholah, by Tabbath - Judges 7:20–22.

By the spirit of God, everything is possible. God’s grace is sufficient for us. Though we were weak we were strong by His strength. The horse is prepared for the day of battle, But deliverance is of the Lord - Proverbs 21:31. Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will remember the name of the Lord our God - Psalm 20:7. My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness - 2 Corinthians 12:9.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We submit ourselves to You. We believe that everything is possible by Your Spirit. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
