I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand - Isaiah 41:10. He is our help and shield as we fear and trust in Him. You who fear the Lord, trust in the Lord; He is their help and their shield - Psalm 115:11.

Garment of Praise

The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness - Isaiah 61:3.

Our God inhabits the praises of His people. But You are holy, enthroned in the praises of Israel - Psalm 22:3. David chose to praise God in the midst of all his circumstances. Paul remembered the faithfulness of God and praised Him. Paul and Silas praised God in prison. Let us hope in God and praise Him as our help is from the Lord. Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; For I shall yet praise Him, The help of my countenance and my God - Psalm 43:5.

Let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God. Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name - Hebrews 13:15. I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth - Psalm 34:1. Everyday I will bless You and praise Your name forever - Psalm 145:2. Seven times a day I praise You, Because of Your righteous judgments - Psalm 119:164.

Let us put on the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. Our praises silence the enemies. Through the praise of children and infants you have established a stronghold against your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger - Psalm 8:2. O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory. Awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early. I will praise thee, O Lord, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations - Psalm 108:1-3.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for giving us the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Marvelous Light

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light - 1 Peter 2:9.

Jesus came to the world as light. I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life - John 6:12. The Lord is my light and my salvation: whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” Psalm 27:1. For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ - 2 Corinthians 5:6.

God had called us out of the darkness into His marvelous light. For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light - Ephesians 5:8. Isaiah 9:2 says, “The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; those who dwelt in a land of deep darkness, on them has light shone.”

We are the light of the world. Let our light shine before all the people of  the world. Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.  For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you - Isaiah 60:1,2. I will keep You and give You as a covenant to the people, As a light to the Gentiles - Isaiah 42:6.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for calling us out of darkness into Your marvelous light. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Shepherds Hear The Good News

Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people” - Luke 2:10.

The shepherds were the first to hear about the birth of Christ. And behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid. Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord - Luke 2:9-11.

As soon as the shepherds heard about the birth of Christ, they went to see Him immediately. When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.” So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger - Luke 2:15,16.

The shepherds spread the good news about the birth of Jesus with others. When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them - Luke 2:17,18. They returned praising and glorifying God. And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all they had heard and seen, as it had been told them - Luke 2:20. Let us c choose spread the good news to others. You know the message God sent to the people of Israel, announcing the good news of peace through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all - Acts 10:35.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to spread the good news to others. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

For God So Loved The World

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life - John 3:16.

We had all sinned and fall short of glory. But God gave his only Son. Jesus paid the penalty of sin for us. For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God - Romans 3:23. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us - Romans 5:8.

God’s love for us is so much that He gave us His only begotten son. Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height - to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God - Ephesians 3:17-19..

We have everlasting life as we believe in God. Psalm 85:9 says, “Salvation is near to those who fear the Lord". Whoever is wise will observe these things, And they will understand the lovingkindness of the Lord - Psalm 107:43. May your unfailing love be with us, Lord, even as we put our hope in you - Psalm 33:22.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for Your amazing love and giving us everlasting life. In Jesus; name we pray. Amen.

Joseph's Obedience

When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took Mary home as his wife. Mathew 1:24.

Joseph was a Carpenter and a righteous man who was betrothed to Mary. He was the earthly father to Jesus and came from the tribe of Judah. As Mary was found to be pregnant by the Holy spirit, he decided to put her away secretly. During that time, an angel appeared to him in dream and told the God’s plan.

Joseph accepted God’s plan and obeyed God. But while he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. Mathew 1: 20. He did what the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took Mary home as his wife.

Joseph obeyed and walked in the guidance of God. He obeyed God and took Mary and child to Egypt. When they had gone, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream. ‘Get up,’ he said, ‘take the child and his mother and escape to Egypt. Stay there until I tell you, for Herod is going to search for the child to kill him - Matthew. 2:13.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to receive Your guidance and obey to Your word. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

Mary's Mission

With God nothing will be impossible - Luke 1:37.

Mary was chosen by God for an important mission. She was used as an instrument for God to fulfill His purpose. Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus. He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David.  And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end - Luke 1:30-33.

With God all things are possible. Then Mary said to the angel, “How can this be, since I do not know a man?”  -  Luke 1:34. The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God - Luke 1:35. Now indeed, Elizabeth your relative has also conceived a son in her old age; and this is now the sixth month for her who was called barren. For with God nothing will be impossible  - Luke 1:36,37.

Mary had an obedient and submissive heart. She submitted herself for Jesus to come as Savior. Then Mary said, “Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word.” And the angel departed from her - Luke 1:38. She submitted herself for the purpose of God to be fulfilled. Let us also submit our lives for God to work in and through us. Blessed is she who believed, for there will be a fulfillment of those things which were told her from the Lord - Luke 1:45.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We submit ourselves for Your plan to be fulfilled in our life. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

We Three Kings

And when they had come into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshiped Him. And when they had opened their treasures, they presented gifts to Him: gold, frankincense, and myrrh - Matthew 2:11.

The three wise men came in search of Jesus when He was born in Bethlehem in the days of king Herod. The star led the wise men to the place where the Jesus was born and they rejoiced with exceedingly great joy. Behold, the star which they had seen in the East went before them, till it came and stood over where the young Child was. When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceedingly great joy - Mathew 2:9,10.

The three wise men worshipped Jesus and presented gold, frankincense and myrrh to Him. The gift of gold, given by one of the wise men symbolizes that the begotten Son who was given by God is the king over all the earth. Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him - Matthew 2:2. Frankincense was used by the priests to make sacrifice to God during worship. Jesus is the High Priest who offered Himself as sacrifice for our sins. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many - Mark 10:45.

The gift of Myrrh was presented to Jesus as a symbol of suffering as it was used to embalm the dead. But He was pierced for our transgressions; He was crushed for our iniquities; upon Him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with His wounds we are healed - Isaiah 53:5. The wise men searched Jesus till they find Him. Let us as also seek God with the whole heart and find Him. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart - Jeremiah 29:13.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to search You and find You with all our heart, mind and soul. Lead us and guide us. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Love, Joy, Peace & Hope

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope - Romans 15:13.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life - John 3:16.

May your unfailing love be with us, Lord, even as we put our hope in you - Psalm 33:22.

And behold, the star that they had seen when it rose went before them until it came to rest over the place where the child was. When they saw the star, they rejoiced exceedingly with great joy - Matthew 2:9–10.

So the ransomed of the Lord will return And come with joyful shouting to Zion, And everlasting joy will be on their heads. They will obtain gladness and joy, And sorrow and sighing will flee away - Isaiah 51:11.

The joy of the Lord is your strength - Nehemiah 8:10.

The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy - Psalm 126:3.

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful - Hebrews 10:23.

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. - John 14:27.

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope - Jeremiah 29:11.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for filling us with Your love, joy, peace and hope. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

His Name Is Prince of Peace

For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6.

The name of our God is the Prince of Peace. He came to the world to bring us peace. Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men! - Luke 2:14. He is the God of peace who gives us peace. Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in every way. The Lord be with you all -2 Thessalonians 3:16. For God is not the author of confusion but of peace - 1 Corinthians 14:33. He has made peace for us by shedding His blood on the cross. Having made peace through the blood of His cross - Colossians 1:20.

Let us not be anxious about anything as God will guard our hearts and minds with His peace. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus - Philippians 4:6,7. Let God’s peace rule our hearts. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful - Colossians 3:15.

God gave us His peace which the world can never give us. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. - John 14:27. He will keep us in perfect peace as we trust Him. You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You - Isaiah 26:3. Let the peace of God be with us always.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are the Prince of Peace. Let Your peace rule our hearts. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

His Name Is Everlasting Father
