You Who Have Done Great Things

 You who have done great things; O God, who is like You? - Psalm 71:19. 

            God had done great things in our life without number and beyond our understanding. He does great things beyond our understanding - Job 37:5. Who does great things, and unsearchable, marvelous things without number - Job 5:9. He does great things past finding out, yes, wonders without number - Job 9:10. 

                   God who is mighty had done great things in our life. For He who is mighty has done great things for me, And holy is His name - Luke 1:49. The works of the Lord are great - Psalm 111:2.  He did great things and filled our hearts with gladness. He did good, gave us rain from heaven and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness - Acts 14:17. You have put gladness in my heart, More than in the season that their grain and wine increased - Psalm 4:7.

               Let us thank God for doing great things in our life and filling us with joy and gladness. The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.- Psalm 126:3. Do not be afraid, land of Judah; be glad and rejoice. Surely the Lord has done great things! - Joel 2:21. Consider what great things he has done for you -  1 Samuel 12:24. They will be led forth with gladness and rejoicing - Psalm 45:15.

The Lord Is The Strength of My Life

  The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? - Psalm 27:1.

               We are safe and protected from all evil as God is the strength of our life. The Lord is my strength and my shield; My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped - Psalm 28:7. The Lord, the Lord himself, is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation - Isaiah 12:2. The Lord is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation - Exodus 15:2.  God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble - Psalm 46:1.

                 God arms us with His strength and He gives us strength when we are weak. It is God who arms me with strength, and makes my way perfect - Psalm 18:32. My arm shall strengthen him - Psalm 89:21. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak - Isaiah 40:29. My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness - 2 Corinthians 12:9. But the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen and protect you from the evil one - 2 Thessalonians 3:3.

            With the strength of God in us, we can do all things and go from strength to strength. The LORD God is my strength; He will make my feet like deer’s feet, and He will make me walk on my high hills - Habakkuk 3:19. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me - Philippians 4:13. God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever - Psalm 73:26. They go from strength to strength - Psalm 84:7.

                                                          


PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are the strength of our life. We thank You for strengthening us to do all things. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Great God

 For the Lord is the great God, And the great King above all gods - Psalm 95:3.     

              Our God is great and greatly to be praised. Great is our Lord and mighty in power; His understanding has no limit - Psalm 147:5. For You are great, and do wondrous things; You alone are God - Psalm 86:10. Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised And His greatness is unsearchable.- Psalm 145:1. He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world - 1 John 4:4. 

                  Great are the works of the Lord in our life. Great are the works of the Lord; they are pondered by all who delight in them. Let us remember the wonderful works of the Lord. Our Lord is gracious and compassionate. Glorious and majestic are His deeds, and his righteousness endures forever. He has caused His wonders to be remembered; the Lord is gracious and compassionate - Psalm 111:2-4.            

                  Let us thank our great God who had done great things in our life. For He who is mighty has done great things for me, and holy is his name - Luke 1:49. The Lord has done great things for us, and we are glad - Psalm 126:3. To Him who alone does great wonders, For His mercy endures forever - Psalm 136:4. I will proclaim the name of the Lord. Oh, praise the greatness of our God! - Deuteronomy 32:3.

Fear God

 Fear God, and give Him glory, because the hour of His judgment has come - Revelation 14:7.

The secret of the Lord is with those who fear Him, And He will show them His covenant - Psalm 25:14.

And His mercy is on those who fear Him from generation to generation - Luke 1:50.

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding - Proverbs 9:10.

The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, To turn one away from the snares of death - Proverbs 14:27.   

In the fear of the Lord there is strong confidence, And His children will have a place of refuge - Proverbs 14:26.

The fear of the Lord prolongs days - Proverbs 10:27.

The fear of the Lord leads to life; then one rests content, untouched by trouble - Proverbs 19:23.

The fear of the Lord is to hate evil - Proverbs 8:13.

He who walks in his uprightness fears the Lord - Proverbs 14:2.

Praise the Lord! Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, Who delights greatly in His commandments - Psalm 112:1.

Blessed are all who fear the Lord, who walk in obedience to him. You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessings and prosperity will be yours. Your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your house; your children will be like olive shoots around your table. Yes, this will be the blessing for the man who fears the Lord - Psalm 128:1-4.

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge - Proverbs 1:7.

Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and depart from evil - Proverbs 3:7.

Do not let your heart envy sinners, But be zealous for the fear of the Lord all the day - Proverbs 23:17.

Better is a little with the fear of the Lord, than great treasure with trouble - Proverbs 15:16.

Let all the earth fear the Lord; Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him - Psalm 33:8.

What Does The Lord Your God Require of You

 And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you, but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways and to love Him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul - Deuteronomy 10:12. 

To fear the Lord your God

           The fear of the Lord is to hate evil - Proverbs 8:13. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge - Proverbs 1:7. In the fear of the Lord there is strong confidence, And His children will have a place of refuge - Proverbs 14:26. The fear of the Lord prolongs days - Proverbs 10:27. He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him - Psalm 145:19.

To walk in all His ways

             He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked - 1 John 2:6.   Blessed is every one who fears the Lord, Who walks in His ways - Psalm 128:1. Wait on the Lord, And keep His way, And He shall exalt you to inherit the land - Psalm 37:34.

 To love Him

               You who love the Lord, hate evil - Psalm 97:10. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength - Deuteronomy 5:6. We love him, because he first loved us - 1 John 4:19.

To serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul

                Serve the Lord with fear - Psalm 2:11. But be sure to fear the Lord and serve him faithfully with all your heart - 1 Samuel 12:24. So you shall serve the Lord your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you - Exodus 23:25.

God's Power

            He is excellent in power - Job 37:23. 

           God's power is very great, mighty, glorious and excellent. Nothing is too hard for our Sovereign Lord who had made the heavens and earth by His great power. Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for You- Jeremiah 32:17. Through the greatness of Your power Your enemies shall submit themselves to You - Psalm 66:3.

         God has power to do what he had promised to us. Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised - Romans 4:20,21. He has declared to His people the power of His works - Psalm 111:6.

          God’s power is mighty that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. Great is our Lord and mighty in power - Psalm 147:5. Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think - Ephesians 3:20. His power is made perfect in our weakness. My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness  - 2 Corinthians 12: 9.

          God’s power brings salvation to everyone who believes. For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes - Romans 1:16. Let our faith be not in the wisdom of men but in the power of God. Your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God - 1 Corinthians 2:5.      

           Let us thank and praise God for His power that is great and mighty in our life. But I will sing of Your power; Yes, I will sing aloud of Your mercy in the morning; For You have been my defense and refuge in the day of my trouble - Psalm 59:16. O Lord, glorious in power, your right hand, O Lord, shatters the enemy - Exodus 15:6.

Rejoice In The Lord In The Midst of Trials

 Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice - Philippians 4:4.     

           We need to count trials as joy as it is for us to be perfect and complete. My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing - James 1:1-4. Let us rejoice in the Lord in hope in the midst of trials. Rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer - Romans 12:12. 

               We need to rejoice always as it is the will of God for us and our strength. Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you - 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18. The joy of the Lord is our strength. And my soul shall be joyful in the Lord; It shall rejoice in His salvation - Psalm 35:9. This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it - Psalm 118:24.           

             Let us rejoice in the Lord always irrespective of our situations. Though the fig tree may not blossom, Nor fruit be on the vines; Though the labor of the olive may fail, And the fields yield no food; Though the flock may be cut off from the fold, And there be no herd in the stalls - Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation. The Lord God is my strength; He will make my feet like deer’s feet, And He will make me walk on my high hills - Habakkuk 3:17-19.                                                                 


PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are the God of our salvation. Help us to rejoice in You always. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

He must increase, but I must decrease

He must increase, but I must decrease - John 3:30.           

             God gives grace to the humble. God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble - James 4:6. Let our attitude be the same as Christ. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross - Philippians 2:8. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls - Mathew 4:14.

              Paul counted all things as loss and rubbish to gain Christ. Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ - Philippians 3:8. To me, to live is Christ and to die is gain - Philippians 1:20.          

             May we decrease and God increase in our lives. I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me - Galatians 2:20. In God we boast all day long - Psalm 44:8.

You Will Not Be Put To Shame

You will not be put to shame or humiliated - Isaiah 45:17.

Look to God & Wait for Him

               We will never be put to shame when we look to God and wait for Him. Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame - Psalm 34:5. May those who wait for You not be ashamed through me, O Lord God of hosts; May those who seek You not be dishonored through me, O God of Israel - Psalm 69:6. For they shall not be ashamed who wait for Me - Isaiah 49:23.

Believe & Trust God

               We will never be put to shame as we believe and trust God. Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame - Romans 10:11. In You, O Lord, I put my trust; Let me never be ashamed - Psalm 31:1. In you, Lord my God, I put my trust. I trust in you; do not let me be put to shame, nor let my enemies triumph over me - Psalm 25:1-2. In You, O Lord, I put my trust; Let me never be ashamed - Psalm 31:1. 

God’s people

              We will never be put to shame as we are the people of God. My people will never be put to shame - Joel 2:26. Do not fear, for you will not be ashamed; Neither be disgraced, for you will not be put to shame - Isaiah 54:4. For the Lord God will help Me; Therefore I will not be disgraced; Therefore I have set My face like a flint, And I know that I will not be ashamed - Isaiah 50:7. Instead of your shame you shall have double honor - Isaiah 61:7.

                                                     

 

PRAYER: Let us wait upon You and believe You at all times. We thank You for giving us double honor instead of shame. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Marvelous Lovingkindness of God

 Show Your marvelous lovingkindness by Your right hand, O You who save those who trust in You - Psalm 17:7.           

             God’s lovingkindness is marvelous and excellent for us. How excellent is your loving-kindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of your wings - Psalm 36:7. Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you - Jeremiah 31:3.

       God shows His lovingkindness to us in various ways and He delights in it. Whoever is wise will observe these things, And they will understand the lovingkindness of the Lord - Psalm 107:43. That I am the Lord, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight,” says the Lord - Jeremiah 9:24. Have mercy upon me, O God, According to Your lovingkindness - Psalm 51:1

      Let us praise and thank the Lord for His loving kindness. Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise You - Psalm 63:3. I will mention the lovingkindnesses of the Lord And the praises of the Lord, According to all that the Lord has bestowed on us, And the great goodness toward the house of Israel, Which He has bestowed on them according to His mercies, According to the multitude of His lovingkindnesses - Isaiah 63:7.

Behold I Make All Things New

             Behold, I make all things new - Revelation 21:5.

New Beginnings

Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead - Philippians 3:13.

New Mercies

Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning - Lamentations 3:22,23.

New Man

You put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness - Ephesians 4:22-24.

New Things

Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert - Isaiah 43:19.

New Spirit

I will give them an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them; I will remove from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh - Ezekiel 11:19.

New Heart

I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh - Ezekiel 36:26.

New life

Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life - Romans 6:4.

New Creation

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new - 2 Corinthians 5:17.

As For Me And My House We Will Serve The Lord

 But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord - Joshua 24:15.      

                     We are chosen and saved by God to serve Him. Keep his commands and obey him; serve him and hold fast to him - Deuteronomy 13:4. We have to serve the Lord faithfully with fear and gladness. Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling - Psalm 2:11. But be sure to fear the Lord and serve him faithfully with all your heart - Joshua 12:24. Serve the Lord with gladness; come before His presence with singing - Psalm 100:2.

              God will honor those who serve Him. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor - John 12:26. For those who honor Me I will honor - 1 Samuel 2:30. He will bless our food and water and take away sickness from us as we serve Him. So you shall serve the Lord your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you  - Exodus 23:25.

              Let us serve God fearfully as faithful stewards with our gifts and glorify Him. Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms - 1 Peter 4:10. So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God - 1 corinthians 10:31.

Merciful, Faithful And Compassionate To Forgive Our Sins

              I acknowledged my sin to You, And my iniquity I have not hidden. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,” And You forgave the iniquity of my sin - Psalm 32:5.

               Our God is merciful, faithful and compassionate to forgive all our sins and cleanse us as we confess our sins to Him. Have mercy upon me, O God, According to Your lovingkindness; According to the multitude of Your tender mercies, Blot out my transgressions - Psalm 51:1.

Merciful God

          For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more - Hebrews 8:12. Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit - Titus 3:5.

Faithful God

             If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness - 1 John 1:9.

Compassionate God

             But He, being full of compassion, forgave their iniquity, And did not destroy them - Psalm 78:38.

           Like David, let us humble ourselves and confess all our sins to God. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, And cleanse me from my sin. For I acknowledge my transgressions, And my sin is always before me. Against You, You only, have I sinned, And done this evil in Your sight  - Psalm 51:2-4.

Be Content With What You Have

 Be content with what you have - Hebrews 13:5.         

            Paul learned to be content in all situations with the strength of God. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all this through him who gives me strength - Philippians 4:12,13.

           God will never leave us nor forsake us and so let us be content with what we have. Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?” - Hebrews 13:5,6.  

          May God help us to be content with what we have and to seek His kingdom first. Now godliness with contentment is great gain - 1 Timothy 6:6. And do not seek what you should eat or what you should drink, nor have an anxious mind. For all these things the nations of the world seek after, and your Father knows that you need these things. But seek the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added to you - Luke 12:29-31. 

                                                      


PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to be content with what we have as You will never leave us nor forsake us in any situation. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Walk Just As He Walked

  He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked - 1 John 2:6.

                    We abide in God only when we walk just as He walked. If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples - John 15:7,8.

Same attitude

Let our attitude be same as Christ. Imitate me, just as I also imitate Christ - 1 Corinthians 11:1. 

Be perfect 

Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect - Matthew 5:48.

Be Holy

But as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy” - 1 Peter 1:15,16.

Be Righteous

If you know that He is righteous, you know that everyone who practices righteousness is born of Him - 1 John 2:29.

Follow God

Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me” - Matthew 16:24. 

Abide in God & bear fruits

Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me - John 15:4. 

Be compassionate

The Lord is good to all; He has compassion on all He has made - Psalm 145:9. But He, being full of compassion, forgave their iniquity, And did not destroy them - Psalm 78:38.

Slow to anger & rich in love

The Lord is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love - Psalm 145:8.

Guard the mouth

 He was oppressed and He was afflicted, Yet He opened not His mouth; He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, And as a sheep before its shearers is silent, So He opened not His mouth - Isaiah 53:7.

Walk in the light

But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin - 1 John 1:7.

Walk in love

And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma - Ephesians 5:2. He who does not love does not know God for God is love - 1 John 4:8.

Walk as children of light

For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light -Ephesians 5:8.

Walk in obedience

The Lord will establish you as his holy people, as he promised you on oath, if you keep the commands of the Lord your God and walk in obedience to him - Deuteronomy 28:9.

Follow His steps

 For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps - 1 Peter 2:21.

You Crown The Year With Your Goodness

 You crown the year with Your goodness - Psalm 65:11.

               God satisfies us with His goodness as we are His people. My people will be satisfied with My goodness. Jeremiah 31:12. For He satisfies the longing soul, And fills the hungry soul with goodness - Psalm 107:9. The earth is full of the goodness of the Lord - Psalm 33:5. The goodness of God endures continually - Psalm 52:1.

          God’s goodness is great for all those who fear Him and trust Him. Oh, how great is Your goodness, Which You have laid up for those who fear You, Which You have prepared for those who trust in You In the presence of the sons of men! - Psalm 31:19. He will never uphold any good thing for those who walk uprightly. No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly - Psalm 84:11. 

             May we experience the goodness of God, peace, good health, protection and prosperity throughout this year. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life - Psalm 23:6. You crown the year with Your goodness, And Your paths drip with abundance. They drop on the pastures of the wilderness, And the little hills rejoice on every side. The pastures are clothed with flocks; The valleys also are covered with grain; They shout for joy, they also sing - Psalm 65:11-13.

Holy Is His Name

  Holy is His name - Luke 1:49.

                 The name of our Lord is Holy and there is none holy like the Lord. For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: I dwell in the high and holy place - Isaiah 57:15. Who shall not fear You, O Lord, and glorify Your name? For You alone are holy - Revelation 15:4. There is no one holy like the Lord; there is no one besides you; there is no Rock like our God - 1 Samuel 2:2.

               The will of God for us is to be holy. For it is God’s will that you should be holy - 1 Thessalonians 4:3. He who called us is Holy and so let us be holy in all we do. But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy - 1 Peter 1:15,16. For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight - Ephesians 1:4. Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord - Hebrews 12:14.

           Let us praise our Holy God and lead a holy life. Exalt the Lord our God, And worship at His footstool - He is holy - Psalm 99:5. Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name - Psalm 103:1. Let them praise Your great and awesome name - He is holy - Psalm 99:3. Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; The whole earth is full of His glory! - Isaiah 6:3. 

                                                           


PRAYER: Dear Lord, Holy is Your name. We praise and exalt Your Holy name. Help us to be holy in all we do as You are Holy. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Devote Yourselves To Prayer

 Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful - Colossians 4:2.

Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know - Jeremiah 33:3.

Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me - Psalm 50:15.

Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you - Jeremiah 29:12

The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth - Psalm 145:18.

In my distress I called to the Lord; I cried to my God for help. From his temple he heard my voice; my cry came before him, into his ears - Psalm 18:6.

I cried out to him with my mouth; his praise was on my tongue - Psalm 66:17.

When hard pressed, I cried to the Lord; he brought me into a spacious place - Psalm 118:5.

In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly - Psalm 5:3.

By day the Lord directs his love, at night his song is with me – prayer to the God of my life - Psalm 42:8.

Lord, hear my prayer, listen to my cry for mercy; in your faithfulness and righteousness come to my relief - Psalm 143:1.

Arise, Lord! Lift up your hand, O God. Do not forget the helpless - Psalm 10:12.

I thank and praise you, God of my ancestors: You have given me wisdom and power, you have made known to me what we asked of you, you have made known to us the dream of the king - Daniel 2:23.

This poor man called, and the Lord heard him; he saved him out of all his troubles - Psalm 34:6.

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus - 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus - Philippians 4:6-7.

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us - 1 John 5:14

Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours - Mark 11:24.

Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer - Romans 12:12

And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words - Matthew 6:7.

For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them - Matthew 18:20.

To Seek And Save the Lost

 For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost - Luke 19:10.

             Jesus came to seek and save the lost. He went to the house of Zacchaeus to bring him to repentance. Then Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord, “Look, Lord, I give half of my goods to the poor; and if I have taken anything from anyone by false accusation, I restore fourfold.” And Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham” - Luke 19:8,9.

             Jesus went to Samaria to save the Samaritan woman. Jesus answered and said to her, “Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life - John 4:13,14. I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance - Luke 15:7.

           Let us have the commitment and mission that Jesus had to reach and save the lost. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit - Matthew 28:19. Not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance - 2 Peter 3:9. I will seek what was lost and bring back what was driven away, bind up the broken and strengthen what was sick - Ezekiel 34:16.

                                                


PRAYER: Dear Lord, You came to the world to seek and save the lost. Help us seek and save the lost as Your will is that all should come to repentance. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Our Thought Life

 For as he thinks in his heart, so is he - Proverbs 23:7.

              Our thought life is so important as everything we do depends upon it. Every thought that exalts against God’s knowledge should be brought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. Casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ - 2 Corinthians 10:5. 

             Our mind needs to be renewed with thoughts that are true, noble, right, pure, lovely and excellent. Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable - if anything is excellent or praiseworthy - think about such things - Philippians 4:8. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind - Romans 12:2. 

              Let our mind be governed by the spirit of God and not by the flesh. The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace - Romans 8:6. Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the flesh - Romans 13:14. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things - Colossians 3:2. 

          God will keep us in perfect peace as we have the mind of Christ. You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You - Isaiah 26:3. Let the same mind be in you that was in Christ Jesus - Philippians 2:5. Let us be the imitators of Christ as we have the mind of Christ - Ephesians 5:1. 

                                          


PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to renew our mind by setting our mind on things above and not on earthly things. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
