God's Chosen People

For you are a holy people to the Lord your God; the Lord your God has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples on the face of the earth - Deuteronomy 7:6. 

              We are the chosen people of God to proclaim the praises of Him. But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light - 1 Peter 2:9. This people I have formed for Myself; They shall declare My praise - Isaiah 43:21.

          We are chosen by God to bear fruits. You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you - John 15:16. As God's chosen people, let us cloth ourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience - Colossians 3:12. 

            Let us thank God as we are so blessed and privileged to be chosen by God. For many are called but few are chosen - Matthew 22:14. Blessed is the man You choose - Psalm 65:4. Though we live in this world, we are not of the world. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you - John 15:19.
