The Valley Will Be Filled With Water

 For thus says the Lord: ‘You shall not see wind, nor shall you see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, so that you, your cattle, and your animals may drink’. And this is a simple matter in the sight of the Lord; He will also deliver the Moabites into your hand - 2 Kings 3:17, 18.

                There was no water for the army and the animals when the king of Israel, Judah and Edom marched a war against Moab. So the king of Israel went with the king of Judah and the king of Edom, and they marched on that roundabout route seven days; and there was no water for the army, nor for the animals that followed them - 2 Kings 3:9. God promised them through Elisha that they shall not see wind nor rain but the valley will be filled with water and He will deliver the Moabites into their hand. And this is a simple matter in the sight of the Lord; He will also deliver the Moabites into your hand. Also you shall attack every fortified city and every choice city, and shall cut down every good tree, and stop up every spring of water, and ruin every good piece of land with stones - 2 Kings 3:18,19.

               Suddenly water came by the way of Edom and the land was filled with water and the Moabites were destroyed. Now it happened in the morning, when the grain offering was offered, that suddenly water came by way of Edom, and the land was filled with water. So when they came to the camp of Israel, Israel rose up and attacked the Moabites, so that they fled before them; and they entered their land, killing the Moabites - 2 Kings 3:20, 24. We may be in the midst of valley and shall not see wind or rain and nothing seem to happen. But like how the water suddenly came by way of Edom and the land was filled with water, a miracle will happen suddenly in our life. It is a simple matter for God to fill the dry lands in our life with water and so let us walk in faith and not by sight. He turns a wilderness into pools of water, And dry land into watersprings - Psalms 107:35. 

               Let us thank God who miraculously turns our valley into pools of water and works in ways we cannot see. Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert - Isaiah 43:19. Then the lame shall leap like a deer, And the tongue of the dumb sing. For waters shall burst forth in the wilderness, And streams in the desert - Isaiah 35:6. For I will pour water on him who is thirsty, And floods on the dry ground; I will pour My Spirit on your descendants, And My blessing on your offspring - Isaiah 44:3. Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the Lord of hosts - Zechariah 4:6.
