Father, Forgive Them, For They Do Not Know What They Do

 Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.” - Luke 23:34.

                The first word that Jesus spoke from the cross is the word of forgiveness. He prayed to the Father to forgive His enemies as they do not know what they do. He bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors - Isaiah 53:12. But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you - Mathew 5:44.

                Jesus told Peter to forgive seventy seven times which means that we need to forgive those who sinned against us irrespective of what they did. Then Peter came up and said to him, “Lord, how often will my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? As many as seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you seven times, but seventy-seven times - Matthew 18:21, 22.

               Our heavenly Father will also forgive us as we forgive others. For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you - Matthew 6:14. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins - Matthew 5:15. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses - Mark 11:26. Forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us - Matthew 6:12. 

                Let us forgive others like Christ for our sins to be forgiven. Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you - Ephesians 4:31-32. Bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do - Colossians 3:13.                                                                        

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us forgive others just as You have forgiven irrespective of what they did. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

I know The Plans I Have For You

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future - Jeremiah 29:11.

                God's plans stand firm forever and it will always prosper us and give us peace, hope and a future. The plans of the LORD stand firm forever - Psalm 33:11. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope - Jeremiah 29:11. He knows everything about our life from the beginning till the end. Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things that are not yet done, Saying, ‘My counsel shall stand, And I will do all My pleasure' - Isaiah 46:10

               Jesus surrendered His ways to the will of God and so God's plan of salvation to people was established through Him. Yet it was the Lord’s will to crush him and cause him to suffer, and though the Lord makes his life an offering for sin, he will see his offspring and prolong his days, and the will of the Lord will prosper in his hand - Isaiah 53:10. He knelt down and prayed, saying, “Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done" - Luke 22:41. So, God highly exalted Jesus and gave Him the name above every names as He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death. He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore, God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name - Philippians 2:8,9.

               Let us also surrender all our ways to God and trust His plans that give us peace, hope and future. Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths - Proverbs 3:5-6. Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass - Psalm 37:5. Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans - Proverbs 16:3. 

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts - Isaiah 6:8,9.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We surrender all our ways to You. We thank You for Your great plans for us that prosper us and give us peace, hope and future. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

I Am The Lord Who Heals You

If you listen carefully to the Lord your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, who heals you - Exodus 15:26. 

Listen carefully to the Lord your God 

Love the LORD your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him - Deuteronomy 30.20. My son, pay attention to what I say; turn your ear to my words. Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; for they are life to those who find them and health to one’s whole body - Proverbs 4:20-22.

Do what is right in his eyes

Do what is right and good in the Lord’s sight, so that it may go well with you - Deuteronomy 6:18. For the ways of the Lord are right; The righteous walk in them - Hosea 14:9.

Pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees

Keep my commands and follow them. I am the Lord - Leviticus 22:31. Whoever keeps commandments keeps their life - Proverbs 19:16. Walk in obedience to all that the Lord your God has commanded you, so that you may live and prosper and prolong your days in the land that you will possess - Deuteronomy 5:33.

I am the Lord, who heals you 

I will restore you to health and heal your wounds - Jeremiah 30:17. He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds - Psalm 147:3. He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses - Matthew 8:17. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed - Isaiah 53:5.                                                                

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are our Healer. We are healed by Your stripes. Let us listen carefully to You and do what is right in Your eyes, pay attention to Your commands and keep all Your decrees. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Gethsemane

He knelt down and prayed, saying, “Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done - Luke 22:41. 

                 Jesus went to the garden of Gethsemane with His disciples Peter, James, and John before the night of His crucifixion to pray. Then they came to a place which was named Gethsemane; and He said to His disciples, “Sit here while I pray” - Mark 14:32. He prayed and submitted to the will of Father to remove the cup from Him if it is His will. For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me - John 6:38. 

                    Jesus prayed more earnestly in the garden of Gethsemane in agony and an angel appeared to Him from heaven and strengthened Him. And being in agony, He prayed more earnestly. Then His sweat became like great drops of blood falling down to the ground - Luke 22:44. Then an angel appeared to Him from heaven, strengthening Him - Luke 22:43. Who, in the days of His flesh, when He had offered up prayers and supplications, with vehement cries and tears to Him who was able to save Him from death, and was heard because of His godly fear - Hebrews 5:7. 

                After He rose up from prayer, He saw His disciples sleeping and told them to rise and pray that they may not enter into temptation. When He rose up from prayer, and had come to His disciples, He found them sleeping from sorrow. Then He said to them, “Why do you sleep? Rise and pray, lest you enter into temptation - Luke 22:45. Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak - Mathew 26:41.

                  Like Jesus, let us also pray and submit to God for His will to be done in our life. Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us - 1 John 5:14. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus - Philippians 4:6-7. 

                                                             

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us pray and submit everything to You for Your will to be done in our life. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

God So Loved The World

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life - John 3:16.

                God loved the world so much that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. He gave His one and only son for us to live through Him. In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another - 1 John 4:9-11. 

              The life which we now live in the flesh we live by faith in the Son of God, who loved us and gave Himself for us. I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me - Galatians 2:20. For in Him we live and move and have our being - Acts 17:18.

                Let us love one another just as Christ loved us and gave Himself for us. A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another - John 13:34, 35. Walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God- Ephesians 5:2.

                                                                                  

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for loving us so much and for giving Yourself for us. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Be Constant In Prayer

Be constant in prayer - Romans 12:12.  

Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful - Colossians 4:2.

Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know - Jeremiah 33:3.

Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me - Psalm 50:15.

Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you - Jeremiah 29:12

The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth - Psalm 145:18.

In my distress I called to the Lord; I cried to my God for help. From his temple he heard my voice; my cry came before him, into his ears - Psalm 18:6.

I cried out to him with my mouth; his praise was on my tongue - Psalm 66:17.

When hard pressed, I cried to the Lord; he brought me into a spacious place - Psalm 118:5.

But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers - 1 Peter 4:7. 

Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak - Matthew 26:41. 

In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly - Psalm 5:3.

By day the Lord directs his love, at night his song is with me – prayer to the God of my life - Psalm 42:8.

Lord, hear my prayer, listen to my cry for mercy; in your faithfulness and righteousness come to my relief - Psalm 143:1.

This poor man called, and the Lord heard him; he saved him out of all his troubles - Psalm 34:6.

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus - 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus - Philippians 4:6-7.

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us - 1 John 5:14

Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours - Mark 11:24.

And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words - Matthew 6:7.

Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them - Matthew 18:19–20.

Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints - Ephesians 6:18. 

Pray continually - 1 Thessalonians 5:17.

Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened - Matthew 7:7,8. 

I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people - 1 Timothy 2:1. 

Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints - Ephesians 6:18.                                                                      

PRAYER: Let us always devote ourselves to pray constantly and continually by being watchful and thankful. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Peter's Powerful Ministries

But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth - Acts 1:8.         

             Peter did powerful ministries after the filling of the Holy Spirit. He fed the sheep as Jesus directed him to do. Jesus said, "Feed my sheep” - John 21:17. And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven - Matthew 16:18,19.

 Peter preached his first sermon      

               Peter became one of the primary leaders of the early church and he preached the first  sermon on the day of Pentecost, and 3000 people believed and were baptized.  Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them - Acts 2:41. 

Sick people healed miraculously

            Peter healed people and worked miracles. And believers were increasingly added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women, so that they brought the sick out into the streets and laid them on beds and couches, that at least the shadow of Peter passing by might fall on some of them.  Also a multitude gathered from the surrounding cities to Jerusalem, bringing sick people and those who were tormented by unclean spirits, and they were all healed - Acts 5:14-16. 

Aeneas healed

          There he found a certain man named Aeneas, who had been bedridden eight years and was paralyzed. And Peter said to him, “Aeneas, Jesus the Christ heals you. Arise and make your bed.” Then he arose immediately - Acts 9:33, 34.

Tabitha healed

             Peter sent them all out of the room; then he got down on his knees and prayed. Turning toward the dead woman, he said, “Tabitha, get up.” She opened her eyes, and seeing Peter she sat up. He took her by the hand and helped her to her feet. Then he called for the believers, especially the widows, and presented her to them alive. This became known all over Joppa, and many people believed in the Lord - Acts 9:40-42. 

Received the Holy Spirit 

             Now when the apostles who were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent Peter and John to them, who, when they had come down, prayed for them that they might receive the Holy Spirit. Then they laid hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit - Acts 8:14,15,17.

 Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature - Mark 16:15.

Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give - Matthew 10:8.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us go into all the world, preach the gospel and do powerful ministries with the power of the Holy Spirit. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Blessed Are The Peacemakers For They Shall Be Called Sons of God

 Blessed are the peacemakers, For they shall be called sons of God - Matthew 5:9.

              Our God who is the Prince of Peace, Himself is our peace. He is a peacemaker who made peace through the cross. For he himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, by setting aside in his flesh the law with its commands and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new humanity out of the two, thus making peace, and in one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility - Ephesians 2:14-16. Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ - Romans 5:1.

              Jesus told the disciples before His death on the cross that He gives them His peace. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid - John 14:27. And following His resurrection from the dead, He stood in the midst of the disciples and said to them 'Peace to you'. Jesus Himself stood in the midst of them, and said to them, “Peace to you” - Luke 24:36.          

                Let us also be blessed by being the peacemakers and be called as sons of God. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone - Romans 12:18. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace - Ephesians 4:2, 3. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful - Colossians 3:15.                                                                              

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are the Peacemaker. Let us also be the peacemakers and make peace with everyone. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Peter's Restoration

        If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness - 1 John 1:9.

              Peter denied Jesus three times and then He remembered the word of the Lord. Then He said, “I tell you, Peter, the rooster shall not crow this day before you will deny three times that you know Me” - Luke 22:34. Then he began to curse and swear, "I do not know this Man of whom you speak!" - Mark 14:71. And the Lord turned and looked at Peter. Then Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how He had said to him, “Before the rooster crows, you will deny Me three times.” - Luke 22:61. 

              Peter went out and wept bitterly after denying Jesus. So Peter went out and wept bitterly - Luke 22:62. But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren - Luke 22:32. Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord.” And you forgave the guilt of my sin - Psalm 32:5. He will again have compassion on us, And will subdue our iniquities. You will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea - Micah 7:19. For You have cast all my sins behind Your back - Isaiah 38:17.

            Like Peter, let us also confess our sins to the Lord who is faithful to forgive us and receive mercy. He who covers his sins will not prosper, But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy - Proverbs 28:13. He has not dealt with us according to our sins, Nor punished us according to our iniquities. For as the heavens are high above the earth, So great is His mercy toward those who fear Him; As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us - Psalm 103:10-12. 

                                                                          

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for being faithful and just to forgive us our sins as we confess it to You and for restoring us. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

I Am Making All Things New

Behold, I am making all things new - Revelation 21:5. 

            God who is the Maker of all things will make all things new in our life when we are in Him. As you do not know the path of the wind, or how the body is formed in a mother's womb, so you cannot understand the work of God, the Maker of all things - Ecclesiastes 11:5. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new - 2 Corinthians 5:17.

           Our God is the Maker of new way in the wilderness where there is no way. Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland - Isaiah 43:19. Just as God did for the Israelites by making a way in the sea, He will make a new way in our life of wilderness. Thus says the Lord, who makes a way in the sea and a path through the mighty waters - Isaiah 43:16. Nothing is impossible for God and all things will become new in or life. For nothing will be impossible with God - Luke 1:37. 

           Let us thank God for making all things new in our life and walk in the newness of life just as Christ was raised from the dead. Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life - Romans 8:7. God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did - Romans 4:17.                                                             

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for making all things new in our life by making new way in the wilderness. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Bless The Lord, O my soul; And All That Is Within Me, Bless His Holy Name

Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases,  Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s - Psalm 103:1-5.

Forget not all His benefits

What shall I render to the Lord For all His benefits toward me? I will take up the cup of salvation, And call upon the name of the Lord. - Psalms‬ ‭116‬:‭12‬-‭13‬.

Forgives all our iniquities

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace - Ephesians 1:7.

Heals all our diseases & redeems our life from destruction

He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from their destructions - Psalm 107:20.   

Crowns us with lovingkindness and tender mercies

For His loving kindness is great toward us, And the truth of the Lord is everlasting. Praise the Lord! - Psalm 117:2.

Satisfies our mouth with good things

For He satisfies the longing soul, And fills the hungry soul with goodness - Psalm 107:9. 

Our youth is renewed like the eagle’s 

But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint - Isaiah 40:31.

             Let our soul and all that is within us bless the Lord and His Holy name. Blessed be the Lord, who daily loads us with benefits, the God of our salvation - Psalm 68:19. My mouth is filled with your praise, declaring your splendor all day long - Psalm 71:8. Praise Him for His mighty acts; Praise Him according to His excellent greatness! - Psalm 150:2. I will praise You, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will tell of all Your marvelous works. I will be glad and rejoice in You; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High - Psalm 9:1,2. 

                                                                         

                                                                                                                                                             

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for all Your benefits in our life. We thank You for forgiving all our iniquities, healing all our diseases, redeeming us from destructions, crowning us with loving kindness and tender mercies, satisfying us with good things and renewing us like eagles. Blood Which Is Shed For Many For The Remission of Sins

For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins - Matthew 26:28.

Precious Blood 

knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot - 1 Peter 1:19 

Purified

And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission - Hebrews 9:22.

Cleansed

But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin - I John 1:7.

Sanctified

Therefore Jesus also, that He might sanctify the people with His own blood, suffered outside the gate - Hebrews 13:12.

Brought Near By His Blood

But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ - Ephesians 2:13.  

Access

Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus - Hebrews 10:19.

If God So Loved Us We Also Ought To Love One Another

Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another - 1 John 4:11. 

Commandment of God

Jesus said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.” This is the first and great commandment.  And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself’ - Matthew 22: 37-39.

We need to love each other

a)With actions and in truth 

Let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth - 1 John 3:18. 

b)With a pure heart 

Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart - 1 Peter 1:22. 

c)Love each other deeply

Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins - 1 Peter 4:8.

d)Must love his brother

If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also - 1 John 4:20,21. 

If we love one another

a)We are His disciples

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another - John 13:34,35.

b)We are born of God

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love - 1 John 4:7,8. 

c)God abides in us

 If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us - 1 John 4:12.

d)We abide in God

God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him - 1 John 4:12-16.

e)We know God

Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love - 1 John 4:7. 

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing. Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails - 1 Corinthians 13:1-8.

And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma - Ephesians 5:2.

Peace Be To You, Peace To Your House And Peace To All That You Have

 Peace be to you, peace to your house, and peace to all that you have - 1 Samuel 25:6.

Peace be to you

            Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid - John 6:33. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus - Philippians 4:6, 7. 

Peace to your house

           Peace be within your walls, Prosperity within your palaces - Psalm 122:7. My people will dwell in a peaceful habitation, in secure dwellings, and in quiet resting places - Isaiah 32:18.

Peace to all that you have

      The LORD gives strength to his people; the LORD blesses his people with peace - Psalm 29:11. Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in every way. The Lord be with you all - 2 Thessalonians 3:16.

Draw Near To God

 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded - James 4:8.

Draw near to God 

                 These people draw near to Me with their mouth, And honor Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me - Mathew 15:8. Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water - Hebrews 10:22. The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth - Psalm 145:18.

Cleanse your hands

                Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart. He shall receive the blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation - Psalm 24:3,4. The Lord has dealt with me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands he has rewarded me - Psalm 18:20.

 Purify your hearts

               Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God - Matthew 5:8. God will not hear us if we regard iniquity in our heart. If I regard iniquity in my heart, The Lord will not hear - Psalm 66:18. Truly God is good to Israel, to such as are pure in heart - Psalm 73:1. Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me - Psalm 51:10.

Ask And It Will Be Given To You

Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened - Matthew 7:7, 8.

Ask in the name of Jesus

Very truly I tell you, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete - John 16:23, 24.

Believe and ask

Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them - Mark 11:24. And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive - Matthew 21:22.

Ask according to His will

Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us - 1 John 5:14.

Abide in God & ask

If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you - John 15:7. 

keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight and ask

And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight - 1 John 3:22.

Humble yourself and ask

If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land - 2 Chronicles 7:14.  

Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know - Jeremiah 33:3.

                 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us - Ephesians 3:20.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us humble ourselves, believe, abide in You, keep Your commandments and do those things that are pleasing in Your sight and ask everything  in prayer according to Your will and in Your name to receive it. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

He Who Humbles Himself Will Be Exalted

And whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted - Mathew 23:12.

             Jesus was exalted high as He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father - Philippians 2:8-11.
                God crowns the humble with victory. For the Lord takes delight in his people; he crowns the humble with victory - Psalm 149:4. He gives grace to the humble and lifts up all who are humble. God gives grace to the humble - James 4:6. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up - James 4:10. Humility comes before honor - Proverbs 18:12. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble - 1 Peter 5:5.                   
               Let us become humble like Jesus and be exalted high. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves - Philippians 2:3. These are the ones I look on with favor: those who are humble and contrite in spirit, and who tremble at my word - Isaiah 66:2. And what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?  - Micah 6:8.

In Quietness And Confidence Shall Be Your Strength

                      In quietness and confidence shall be your strength - Isaiah 30:15.

            Jesus did not open His mouth when He was oppressed and afflicted. He was oppressed and He was afflicted, Yet He opened not His mouth; He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, And as a sheep before its shearers is silent, So He opened not His mouth - Isaiah 53:7. 

           Jesus committed no sin and no deceit was found in His mouth and did not revile in return when He was reviled. For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps: “Who committed no sin, Nor was deceit found in His mouth”; who, when He was reviled, did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously - 1 Peter 2:21-23.     

             Let us follow the steps of christ who left us an example to be quiet and not to open the mouth when oppressed and afflicted. Set a guard over my mouth, Lord; keep watch over the door of my lips - Psalm 141:3. Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes - Psalm 37:7. He who guards his mouth preserves his life, But he who opens wide his lips shall have destruction - Proverbs 13:3. 

                                                                   

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Set a guard over our mouth and keep watch over the door of our lips. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Our Savior

 And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world - 1 John 4:14.       

To save us

            God sent His son to the world as Savior to save us. And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins - Matthew 1:21. For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost - Luke 19:10. For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life - Romans 5:10.

All people to be saved

            God our Savior desires all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all people - 1 Timothy 2:3-5. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved - Acts 4:12.

Savior of the world

             Let us thank God our Savior for saving us by His grace. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast - Ephesians 2:8, 9. Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them - Hebrews 7:25.

Christ Jesus Coming In The Likeness of Men

Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men - Philippians 2:5-7.

To give us an abundant life

          The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly - John 10:10.   

To seek and save the lost

            For the son of man came to seek and to save the lost - Luke 19:10.

To serve us

         For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many - Mark 10:45.

For sinners to repent

            I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance - Luke 5:32.

For us to become righteous

        God made Him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God - 2 Corinthians 5:21.

For us to become rich

         For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, so that you through His poverty might become rich - 2 Corinthians 8:9.

To be adopted as His sons

          He predestined us to be adopted as His sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with His pleasure and will - to the praise of His glorious grace, which He has freely given us in the One He loves - Ephesians 1:5, 6.

To save us

         For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him - John 3:17.

To give His life as a ransom for many

          The Son of Man came not to be served but to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many - Mark 10:45.

To give us an eternal life

         For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life - John 3:16.

                                                          


PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for Your amazing love for coming into the world in the likeness of men to save us and to give us an eternal life. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Salt and Light

         You are the salt of the earth - Matthew 5:13. 

        You are the light of the world - Matthew 5:14.

             We are blessed by God to be a blessing for others. I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing - Genesis 12:2. We are the salt of the earth and the light of the world to be a blessing for people in all ways and in bringing them into the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Salt of the earth

             We are the salt of the earth and so let us be useful for others like salt. We should never be like the salt that had lost its flavor as it is good for nothing.

             You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people's feet. - Matthew 5:13

Light of the world 

            Our life should shine brightly before others through our words, attitude and actions so that when people see our good works, they will be drawn to God and glorify Him. Let our light shine in the dark world.

                 You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven - Matthew 5:14-16.

Fruit of The Spirit

 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control - Galatians 5:22, 23.    

Love

Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins - 1 Peter 4:8. 

Joy

Be glad in the Lord and rejoice, you righteous; And shout for joy, all you upright in heart! - Psalm 32:11.

Peace

A heart at peace gives life to the body, but envy rots the bones - Proverbs 14:30.

Patience

Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love - Ephesians 4:2.

kindness

Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you (Ephesians 4:32).

Goodness

Let them do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to give, willing to share, storing up for themselves a good foundation for the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life - 1 Timothy 6:18,19.

Faithfulness

A faithful man will abound with blessings - Proverbs 28:20.

Gentleness

Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand - Philippians 4:5.

Self-control

A man without self-control is like a city broken into and left without walls - Proverbs 25:28.

Power In The Blood of Christ

  And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony - Revelation 12:11.

Eternal redemption

Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption - Hebrews 9:12. 

Cleanses us from all sin

But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin - 1 John 1:7.

Brought near by the blood of Christ

But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ - Ephesians 2:13.

Reconciled in Christ

For it pleased the Father that min Him all the fullness should dwell, and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross - Colossians 1:19,20.

Redeemed 

Knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot - 1 Peter 1:18–19.

Justified

Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him - Romans 5:9.

Forgiveness of sins

This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins - Matthew 26:28. 

Church of God

Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood - Acts 20:28.

Cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God

How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? - Hebrews 9:14.
