These Are The Things I Will Do & I Will Not Forsake Them

I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them - Isaiah 42:16. 

               God who is the Maker of all things will lead us and guide us in the ways we did not know, turn the darkness into light and make the rough places smooth.  We do not know His works like how we do not know the way of the wind or  how the bones grow in the womb of her who is with child. As you do not know what is the way of the wind, Or how the bones grow in the womb of her who is with child, So you do not know the works of God who makes everything Ecclesiastes 11:5

I will lead the blind by ways they have not known

                    God will lead us in ways we do not know. Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert - Isaiah 43:18,19. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert - Isaiah 43:19.
We don’t know where we are going

Along unfamiliar paths I will guide them

                     God will guide us in paths that are unfamiliar for us. I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye - Psalm 32:8. Teach me the way in which I should walk; For to You I lift up my soul - Psalm 143:8. I instruct you in the way of wisdom and lead you along straight paths - Proverbs 4:11. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths - Proverbs 3:6.

I will turn the darkness into light before them 

                  God will turn darkness into light before usYou, Lord, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light - Psalm 18:28. The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; Those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, Upon them a light has shined - Isaiah 9:2.

I will make the rough places smooth  

                   God will go before us, break the obstacles and make all our crooked places straight. I will go before you and make the crooked places straight - Isaiah 45:2. Every valley shall be exalted and every mountain and hill brought low; The crooked places shall be made straight and the rough places smooth - Isaiah 40:4,5. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight - Proverbs 3: 5, 6.

These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them 

                    God will lead us in ways we do not know and guide us in the paths that are unfamiliar for us. He will make darkness light before us and rough places smooth in our life. He will do these things and He will never forsake us. I will never leave you nor forsake you - Joshua 1:5. The Lord has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes - Psalm 118:23. And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed - Deuteronomy 31:8. 

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go - Joshua 1:9.


PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for leading us in ways we do not know and guiding us along unfamiliar paths, turning the darkness into light before us and making rough places smooth and forsaking us. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

I Will Bless The Lord At All Times His Praise Shall Continually Be In My Mouth

I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth - Psalm 34:1.  

             We have to bless the Lord at all times and His praise should continually be coming out of our mouth, no matter what we are going through as He is great and most worthy of praise. Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; His greatness no one can fathom - Psalm 145:3. Let us express our gratitude to God by lifting up our song and praise and thank Him with all our heart and give Him the glory He deserves continually at all times. Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise! - Revelation 5:12.

Give thanks to the Lord

Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever! - 1 Chronicles 16:34. Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus - 1 Thessalonians 5:18.  Therefore I will give thanks to You among the nations, O LORD, and I will sing praises to Your name - Psalm 18:49. Always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ - Ephesians 5:20.

Give praise to the Lord

Sing to the Lord! Give praise to the Lord! He rescues the life of the needy from the hands of the wicked - Jeremiah 20:13. I will exalt you, my God the King; I will praise your name for ever and ever. Every day I will praise you and extol your name for ever and ever - Psalm 145:1, 2. I will sing to the Lord all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live - Psalm 104:33.

Give glory to the Lord

 Let them give glory to the Lord, And declare His praise in the coastlands - Isaiah 42:12. Give unto the LORD the glory due to His name; Worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness - Psalm 29:2. All the nations you have made will come and worship before you, O lord; they will bring glory to your name - Psalm 86:9.                                                                

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We bless You at all times. Let Your praise shall continually be in our mouth. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

The Lord God Is My Strength

The Lord God is my strength; He will make my feet like deer’s feet, And He will make me walk on my high hills - Habakkuk 3:19.

The Lord God is my strength

The LORD is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation - Psalm 118:14.

I will love You, O LORD, my strength. The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold - Psalm 18:1-2.

He will make my feet like deer’s feet

Like deer's feet, God will give us strength and stability to rise above hardships. He will help us to climb securely and to walk on high places without falling in times of trouble. 

He makes my feet like the feet of deer, And sets me on my high places - Psalm 18:33.

He will make me walk on my high hills - Fully obey God and carefully follow all His commands

God will set us high above all the nations on earth as we fully obey God and carefully follow all His commands.

If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations on earth Deuteronomy 28:1.

                                                               

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are our strength. We thank You for making our feet like deer’s feet, and making us to walk on high hills. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Great Is Your Love

 For great is your love, reaching to the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies - Psalm 57:10.

Children of God because of the Lord’s great love

                See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!  - 1 John 3:1. In love he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will - to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves - Ephesians 1:5,6.

Protection because of the Lord’s great love

               Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness - Lamentations 3:22,23. But I will sing of your strength, in the morning I will sing of your love; For you are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble - Psalm 59:16.

Thank God for His great love

              Let us thank God for His great unfailing love for us. When I said, “My foot is slipping,” your unfailing love, Lord, supported me - Psalm 94:18. But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation - Psalm 13:5. By day the Lord directs his love, at night his song is with me— a prayer to the God of my life - Psalm 42:8.

Thanks Be To God Who Gives Us The Victory

But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ - I Corinthians 15:57.

The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but victory rests with the Lord - Proverbs 21:31.

For the LORD your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory - Deuteronomy 20:4.

 With God we will gain the victory, and he will trample down our enemies - Psalm 108:13.

You must not fear them, for the Lord your God Himself fights for you - Deuteronomy 3:22.

The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still - Exodus 14:13,14. 

 The waters were divided, and the Israelites went through the sea on dry ground, with a wall of water on their right and on their left. That day the Lord saved Israel from the hands of the Egyptians - Exodus 14:21,22, 30. 

 I do not trust in my bow, my sword does not bring me victory; but you give us victory over our enemies, you put our adversaries to shame. In God we make our boast all day long, and we will praise your name forever - Psalm 44:6-8. 

Do not be afraid of them, the Lord said to Joshua, “for I have given you victory over them. Not a single one of them will be able to stand up to you” - Joshua 10:8. 

Your right hand, Lord, was majestic in power. Your right hand, Lord, shattered the enemy.- Exodus 15:6. 

The right hand of the Lord has won the victory - Psalm 98:1.

 Shouts of joy and victory resound in the tents of the righteous: ‘The Lord’s right hand has done mighty things!’ - Psalm 18:15. 

Oh, sing to the Lord a new song! For He has done marvelous things; His right hand and His holy arm have gained Him the victory - Psalm 98:1.

keep His Commandments

Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind - Ecclesiastes 12:13.

The Two Greatest Commandments

Love God: You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind - Matthew 22:37-38. 

Love Your Neighbor: You shall love your neighbor as yourself - Matthew 22:39. 

The Great Commission

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age - Matthew 28:19-20. 

Keep His commandments

Jesus said to his disciples, "If you love Me, keep My commandments"  - John 14: 15. 

For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome - 1 John 5:3.

In that I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His judgments, that you may live and multiply; and the Lord your God will bless you in the land which you go to possess - Deuteronomy 30:16.

David Inquired of The Lord

I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will - Acts 13:22.

                David always inquired God before taking any decision as he desired to know the will of God. God gave him a clear direction and victory each time he inquired. I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye - Psalm 32:8. I instruct you in the way of wisdom and lead you along straight paths - Proverbs 4:11. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths - Proverbs 3:6.

Then they told David, saying, “Look, the Philistines are fighting against Keilah, and they are robbing the threshing floors.” Therefore David inquired of the Lord, saying, “Shall I go and attack these Philistines?”. And the Lord said to David, “Go and attack the Philistines, and save Keilah.” - 1 Samuel 23:1-3.

Then David said, “Will the men of Keilah deliver me and my men into the hand of Saul?” And the Lord said, “They will deliver you.” So David and his men, about six hundred, arose and departed from Keilah and went wherever they could go. Then it was told Saul that David had escaped from Keilah; so he halted the expedition. And David stayed in strongholds in the wilderness, and remained in the mountains in the Wilderness of Ziph. Saul sought him every day, but God did not deliver him into his hand - 1 Samuel 23:12-14. 

The Philistines also went and deployed themselves in the Valley of Rephaim. So David inquired of the Lord, saying, “Shall I go up against the Philistines? Will You deliver them into my hand?” And the Lord said to David, “Go up, for I will doubtless deliver the Philistines into your hand.” So David went to Baal Perazim, and David defeated them there; and he said, “The Lord has broken through my enemies before me, like a breakthrough of water.” Therefore he called the name of that place Baal Perazim - 2 Samuel 5:18-20.

It happened after this that David inquired of the Lord, saying, “Shall I go up to any of the cities of Judah?” And the Lord said to him, “Go up.” David said, “Where shall I go up?” And He said, “To Hebron.” - 2 Samuel 2:1.

The Lord will guide you continually, And satisfy your soul in drought, And strengthen your bones; You shall be like a watered garden, And like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail - Isaiah 58:11.  

                                                                       

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us always inquire You and seek direction before taking any decision in our life. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

May My Meditation Be Pleasing To Him

May my meditation be pleasing to him, as I rejoice in the LORD - Psalm 104:34. 

Meditate on the Word of God

 Oh, how I love Your law! It is my meditation all the day - Psalm 119:97.

Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful - Joshua 1:8.

Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper - Psalm 1:1-3.

I will lift up my hands toward your commandments, which I love, and I will meditate on your statutes - Psalm 119:48.

Let the insolent be put to shame, because they have wronged me with falsehood; as for me, I will meditate on your precepts - Psalm 119:78.

My eyes are awake before the watches of the night, that I may meditate on your promise - Psalm 119:148.

Meditate on His wonderful works

I will meditate on your wonderful works - Psalm 145:5.

Meditate on these things

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things - Philippians 4:8.

Ephphatha - Be Opened

Then, looking up to heaven, He sighed, and said to him, “Ephphatha,” that is, “Be opened.”  - Mark 7:34. 

           A man who was deaf and unable to speak was brought to Jesus to be healed. Then they brought to Him one who was deaf and had an impediment in his speech, and they begged Him to put His hand on him - Mark 7:32.  

Ephphatha - Be opened

            Jesus sighed and said "Ephphatha,” that is, “Be opened." Immediately his ears were opened, and his tongue was released. The way to life was opened to him by God. Now, he could hear the laughter, the conversations, and he spoke plainly. And He took him aside from the multitude, and put His fingers in his ears, and He spat and touched his tongue. Immediately his ears were opened, and the impediment of his tongue was loosed, and he spoke plainly - Mark 4:34, 35.

Proclaimed & astonished beyond measure

            People proclaimed it and astonished beyond measure saying, “He has done all things well". Then He commanded them that they should tell no one; but the more He commanded them, the more widely they proclaimed it. And they were astonished beyond measure, saying, “He has done all things well. He makes both the deaf to hear and the mute to speak - Mark4:36,37.

             May God open a way for us and let our ears be opened to hear the word of God and our mouth be opened to proclaim the gospel by the power of the Holy Spirit. See, I have set before you an open door and no one can shut it - Revelation 3:8. The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed - Luke 4:18.                                                                                      

                                                                        

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for doing all things well beyond measure in our life. Let our ears be opened to hear Your Word and our lips be opened to proclaim the gospel. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Do Not Be Anxious About Anything

Do not be anxious about anything - Philippians 4:6.

Praise God and rejoice - He will make my feet like deer’s feet, And He will make me walk on my high hills     

           God will be our strength and make our feet like deer’s feet and make us walk on high hills as we praise God and rejoice regardless of situations in our life. Though the fig tree may not blossom, Nor fruit be on the vines; Though the labor of the olive may fail, And the fields yield no food; Though the flock may be cut off from the fold, And there be no herd in the stalls - Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation. The Lord God is my strength; He will make my feet like deer’s feet, And He will make me walk on my high hills - Habakkuk 3:17-19.

Come to the presence of God & cast all your anxiety on Him - I will give you rest

            God will give us rest as we come to His presence and cast all our anxieties on Him. Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For my yoke is easy and my burden is light - Matthew 11:28-30. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you - 1 Peter 5:7.

Love God and know His name -  I will deliver you and honor you

           God will deliver us and honor us as we love Him and know His name. Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name. He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him, And show him My salvation - Psalm 91:14-16.                                                                               

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us not be anxious about anything but instead praise You, rejoice, come to Your presence, cast all our anxieties, love You and know Your name. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

God Who Is Rich In Mercy

  But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions - it is by grace you have been saved - Ephesians 2:4, 5.

New every morning

It is of the LORD’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness - Lamentations 3:22-23.

Great and abundant

God’s mercies are great and abundant to all those who fear Him and call upon Him. For as the heavens are high above the earth, So great is His mercy toward those who fear Him - Psalm 103:11. For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, and abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You - Psalm 86:5.

Endless & Everlasting mercies

His mercies will never come to an end and they are new every morning. His tender mercies are over all His works - Psalm 145:8. For the Lord is good. His mercy is everlasting - Psalm 100:5. But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him - Psalm 103:17.                                                                 

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for Your new, great, abundant, endless and everlasting mercies in our life. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Be Imitators of God

Be imitators of God -  Ephesians 5:1.

Love one another - As I have loved you 

           A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another - John 13:34. And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma - Ephesians 5:2.

Forgiving one another - As Christ forgave you

          Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection - Colossians 3:12-14.

Be meek and have a humble heart - I am meek and humble of heart

           Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart; and you will find rest for yourselves - Matthew 11:29.

Be Holy - He who called you is holy

            But as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy” - 1 Peter 1:15,16.

Be perfect - As your Father in heaven is perfect 

           Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect - Matthew 5:48.

Grace And Peace To You From God

                  Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ - Ephesians 1:2.

                  Grace and peace will be ours from God in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord - 2 Peter 1:2. And the grace of our Lord was exceedingly abundant, with faith and love which are in Christ Jesus - 1 Timothy 1:14. Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord - 1 Timothy 1:2. 

Grace sufficient in weakness

My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness. Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me - 2 Corinthians 12:9.

Peace in every situation

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 4:6-7

                     Let us thank God for His exceedingly abundant grace and peace in our life. From his fullness we all received grace upon grace - John 1:16. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen - Romans 16:20. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful” - Colossians 3:15.

It Is Good For Me That I Was Afflicted

 It is good for me that I was afflicted, that I might learn Your statutes - Psalm 119:71.

             It is good that we are afflicted because it lead us to learn and follow God's statutes and commands. Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I keep your word - Psalm 119:67. We need to rejoice when afflicted as afflictions are light and temporary and it is for good. It also shapes our character and we may be able to comfort those who are in any afflictions.

Light affliction, temporary

             For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal - 2 Corinthians 4:17-18.

All things work together for good

            And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose - Romans 8:28.     

Produces perseverance, character, hope

             Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything - James 1:2-4. Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope - Romans 5:3-4.          

We may be able to comfort those who are in any afflictions

           Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God - 2 Corinthians 1:3-4.                                                                   

PRAYER: Dear Lord, It is good for us that we are afflicted as we learn Your statutes and keep Your Word. We thank You for comforting us in all our afflictions. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

It Is Good To Sing Praises To Our God

It is good to sing praises to our God - Psalm 147:1.

Sing praises to God - It is pleasant and beautiful 

Praise the Lord! For it is good to sing praises to our God; For it is pleasant, and praise is beautiful - Psalm 147:1. Praise the Lord, for the Lord is good; Sing praises to His name, for it is pleasant - Psalm 135:3. 

Sing praises to God - For all His wonderful acts 

Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of all his wonderful acts - Psalm 105:2.

Sing praises to God - With my whole heart

I will praise You, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will tell of all Your marvelous works. I will be glad and rejoice in You; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High - Psalm 9:1,2.

Sing praises to God - Continually

I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth - Psalm 34:1.

Sing praises to God - All my life

I will sing to the Lord all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live - Psalm 104:33.  

Sing praises to God - Forever

My heart may sing your praises and not be silent. Lord my God, I will praise you forever - Psalm 30:12.

Sing praises to God, sing praises! Sing praises to our King, sing praises! - Psalm 47:6.

All the earth shall worship You And sing praises to You; They shall sing praises to Your name - Psalm 66:4. 

 


PRAYER: Dear Lord, We sing praises to You as it is pleasant and beautiful to sing praises to You. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

It Is Good To Give Thanks To The LORD

It is good to give thanks to the LORD - Psalm 92:1.

He is good

Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good. His love endures forever- Psalm 136:1. Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!- Psalm 107:1. 

For his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds 

Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind. Let them sacrifice thank offerings and tell of his works with songs of joy - Psalm 107:21-22.

In all circumstances

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus - 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18.

With all my heart

I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds. I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing the praises of your name, O Most High - Psalm 9:1,2.

Always for all things

Giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ - Ephesians 5:20. 

Prayer with thanksgiving

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus - Philippians 4:6,7.

Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful - Colossians 4:2. 

  Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms - Psalm 95:2.

Direct my steps by Your word - Psalm 119:133. 

Living & powerful

For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart - Hebrews 4:12. 

Life & health

My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart; For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh. Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life - Proverbs 4:20-23. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life - John 6:63.

Lamp & Light

Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path - Psalm 119:105.

Gives light & understanding to the simple 

The entrance of Your words gives light; It gives understanding to the simple - Psalm 119:130.

Right & True

For the word of the Lord is right and true; He is faithful in all he does - Psalm 33:4.

Give Thanks To The Lord For His Goodness

 Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men! - Psalm 107:8.

                    Our Lord who is abounding in goodness satisfies us with His goodness. The Lord, the Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abounding in goodness and truth - Exodus 34:6.  For He satisfies the longing soul, and fills the hungry soul with goodness. Psalm 107:9. My people will be satisfied with My goodness - Jeremiah 31:14. The earth is full of the goodness of the Lord - Psalm 33:5. 

               God's goodness is great for all those who fear Him and trust Him. Oh, how great is Your goodness, Which You have laid up for those who fear You, Which You have prepared for those who trust in You In the presence of the sons of men! - Psalm 31:19.

                Let us give thanks to the Lord for His goodness in our life. You crown the year with Your goodness, and Your paths drip with abundance - Psalm 65:11. The goodness of God endures continually - Psalm 52:1. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life - Psalm 23:6.

The One Who Breaks Open The Way

The One who breaks open the way will go up before them; they will break through the gate and go out. Their King will pass through before them, the Lord at their head - Micah 2:13.

See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut - Revelation 3:8.

I am the Lord, your Holy One, The Creator of Israel, your King.” Thus says the Lord, who makes a way in the sea And a path through the mighty waters - Isaiah 43:15,16.

Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert - Isaiah 43:18,19.

He made streams come out of the rock and caused waters to flow down like rivers - Psalm 78:16.

I will go before you and make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze and cut the bars of iron - Isaiah 45:2.        

I will bring the blind by a way they did not know; I will lead them in paths they have not known. I will make darkness light before them, And crooked places straight. These things I will do for them, and not forsake them - Isaiah 42:16.        

I will go before you and will level the mountains; I will break down gates of bronze and cut through bars of iron - Isaiah 54:2. 

By faith they passed through the Red sea as by the dry land – Hebrews 11:29. 

I will open rivers in desolate heights, And fountains in the midst of the valleys; I will make the wilderness a pool of water, And the dry land springs of water. I will plant in the wilderness the cedar and the acacia tree, The myrtle and the oil tree; I will set in the desert the cypress tree and the pine And the box tree together, That they may see and know, And consider and understand together, That the hand of the Lord has done this, And the Holy One of Israel has created it - Isaiah 41:18-20. 

God divided the waters in the Red sea and the Israelites went through the sea on dry ground with a wall of water on their right and on their left - Exodus 14:22.

He turned the sea into dry land; They went through the river on foot. There we will rejoice in Him  - Psalm 66:6.

And it happened when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat. Then the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city - Joshua 6:20.

As soon as their feet touched the water, it piled up in a heap. Then the priests who bore the ark of the covenant of the Lord stood firm on dry ground in the midst of the Jordan; and all Israel crossed over on dry ground - Joshua 3:17.                                                                                

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for breaking all the obstacles in our life and opening a way for us where there is no way for us. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Find Rest In God

My soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from him - Psalm 62:1. 

Come to God

Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest - Mathew 11:28. 

Wait patiently for Him

Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him - Psalm 37:7.

Pray & give thanks to God

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus - Philippians 4:6-7.

Go to His presence

 In Your presence is fullness of joy - Psalm 16:11.

Cast all your anxiety on him 

Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you -1 Peter 5:7.

Rejoice in God

Though the fig tree should not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines, the produce of the olive fail and the fields yield no food, the flock be cut off from the fold and there be no herd in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the LORD; I will take joy in the God of my salvation - Habakkuk 3:17,18.'

My Eyes Are Upon You O God The Lord

 My eyes are upon You, O God the Lord; In You I take refuge - Psalm 141:8 .              

For help to come from the Lord

I lift up my eyes to the mountains - where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth - Psalm 121:1,2.

To be saved

Look unto Me, and be saved, all the ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other - Isaiah 45:22.  

For God to protect us

My eyes are ever toward the Lord, For He shall pluck my feet out of the net - Psalm 25:15.

Not to be put to shame

Then I shall not be put to shame, having my eyes fixed on all Your commandments - Psalm 119:6.

Run the race with eyes fixed on Jesus

Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith - Hebrews 12:1,2. 

Fix eyes on what is unseen - eternal

So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal - 2 Corinthians 4:18. 

I will meditate on Your precepts and fix my eyes on Your ways - Psalm 119:15.

He Is Our Shield

He is your shield and helper - Deuteronomy 33:29.

                  The Most High God is our shield. My shield is God Most High, who saves the upright in heart - Psalm 7:10.  I am your shield - Genesis 15:1. But You, O Lord, are a shield for me, My glory and the One who lifts up my head - Psalm 3:3. You are my hiding place and my shield; I hope in Your word - 119:114. 

Trust God

            God is a shield to all those who trust Him. You who fear the Lord, trust in the Lord; He is their help and their shield - Psalm 115:11. He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him - Proverbs 30:5. 

Be righteous

               God is a shield to all those who are righteous. Surely, Lord, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield - Psalm 5:12. He holds success in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless - Proverbs 2:7.

                 Let us trust God, be righteous and thank Him for being our shield. The Lord is my strength and my shield; My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, And with my song I will praise Him - Psalm 38:7. The God of my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, My stronghold and my refuge; My Savior, You save me from violence - 2 Samuel 22:3. 

The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold - Psalm 18:2.

He Who Made A Way Through The Sea A Path Through The Mighty Waters

  He who made a way through the sea, a path through the mighty waters - Isaiah 43:16.     

                 The Israelites were very afraid when Pharaoh drew near and the Egyptians marched after them as there was no way of escape in the Red Sea. But God made a way through the sea, a path through the mighty waters. And when Pharaoh drew near, the children of Israel lifted their eyes, and behold, the Egyptians marched after them. So they were very afraid, and the children of Israel cried out to the Lord - Exodus 14:10. Tell the children of Israel to go forward. But lift up your rod, and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it. And the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea - Exodus 14:15,16.   

                     The Lord drove the sea back with a strong east wind and turned it into dry land. The waters were divided, and the Israelites went through the sea on dry ground, with a wall of water on their right and on their left. Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and all that night the Lord drove the sea back with a strong east wind and turned it into dry land. The waters were divided, and the Israelites went through the sea on dry ground, with a wall of water on their right and on their left - Exodus 14:21,22.

               The Lord saved Israel from the hands of the Egyptians, and none of the Egyptians were survived. The water flowed back and covered the chariots and horsemen - the entire army of Pharaoh that had followed the Israelites into the sea. Not one of them survived. But the Israelites went through the sea on dry ground, with a wall of water on their right and on their left. That day the Lord saved Israel from the hands of the Egyptians, and Israel saw the Egyptians lying dead on the shore - Exodus 14:28-30.

                  God made a way for Israelites where there was no way. His ways are higher than our ways. He will make a way for us like how He made a way through the sea and a path through the mighty waters for Israelites. Your way was in the sea, Your path in the great waters - Psalm 77:19. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts - Isaiah 55:8,9.

Bezalel Used His Skills For God's Glory

See, the Lord has chosen Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah,  and he has filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, with knowledge and with all kinds of skills - Exodus 35:30, 31.

                God chose Bezalel, Hur’s grandson to construct the tabernacle under the leadership of Moses. Then the Lord said to Moses,  “See, I have chosen Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, with knowledge and with all kinds of skills - to make artistic designs for work in gold, silver and bronze,  to cut and set stones, to work in wood, and to engage in all kinds of crafts - Exodus 31:1-5. Hur was one of the two men who held up Moses’ arms during the Israelites’ battle against the Amalekites (Exodus 17:12,13).          

                     Bezalel used his skills and gifts for the glory of God and also to teach others. And He has given both Bezalel and Oholiab son of Ahisamak, of the tribe of Dan, the ability to teach others - Exodus 35:34. Then Moses summoned Bezalel and Oholiab and every skilled person to whom the Lord had given ability and who was willing to come and do the work - Exodus 36:2. He made the ark of acacia wood, the table of acacia wood, the lampstand of pure gold and the altar of incense of acacia wood - Exodus 37:1,10,17,25.

                         Like Bezalel, let us also offer us to finish the work of God and use our skills and gifts for the glory of God. So all the work on the tabernacle, the tent of meeting, was completed. The Israelites did everything just as the Lord commanded Moses - Exodus 39:32. Moses inspected the work and saw that they had done it just as the Lord had commanded. So Moses blessed them  - Exodus 39:43. I have brought you glory on earth by finishing the work you gave me to do -  John 17:4.                                                                   

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for filling us with Your Spirit, wisdom, understanding, knowledge and with all kinds of skills. Let us offer our life to serve You for Your glory. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
