Therefore God also has highly exalted Him - Philippians 2:8.
God highly exalted Christ and gave Him a name which is above every name that every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father - Philippians 2:8-11.
God highly exalted as He humbled himself and obeyed Him by coming to the world in the appearance as a man and fulfilling His will. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross - Philippians 2:8. For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will but the will of him who sent me - John 6:38. I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me - John 5:30. For the works which the Father has given Me to finish - the very works that I do - John 5:36. He who humbles himself will be exalted - Matthew 23:12.
Let us thank and praise God who is highly exalted. Great is the LORD in Zion; He is exalted above all the peoples - Psalm 99:2. For the shields of the earth belong to God; he is highly exalted! - Psalm 47:6-9. The LORD is exalted over all the nations, His glory above the heavens! - Psalm 113:4. Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; let your glory be over all the earth - Psalm 57:5. Yours, Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours, Lord, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all - 1 Chronicles 29:11.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are highly exalted. We exalt You. Help us to be humble and be obedient to Your will. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen,
