Great Is Your Faith

 Then Jesus answered and said to her, “O woman, great is your faith! Let it be to you as you desire -Matthew 15:28.             

              God did not answer a word when a Canaanite woman cried out to have mercy on her as her daughter is severely demon-possessed. And behold, a woman of Canaan came from that region and cried out to Him, saying, “Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David! My daughter is severely demon-possessed.” But He answered her not a word - Matthew - Matthew 15:22,23.

                Jesus was amazed by the great faith of the Canaanite woman and healed her daughter as she again came and worshiped Him and asked to help her. Then she came and worshiped Him, saying, “Lord, help me!”  But He answered and said, “It is not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the little dogs.” And she said, “Yes, Lord, yet even the little dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table.” Then Jesus answered and said to her, “O woman, great is your faith! Let it be to you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed from that very hour - Matthew 15:25-28. 

               Let us continuously seek God with great faith like the Canaanite woman. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart - Jeremiah 29:13. Pray without ceasing - 1 Thessalonians 5:17. Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving - Colossians 4:2. Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours - Mark 11:24. Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen - Hebrews 11:1. For we walk by faith, not by sight - 2 Corinthians 5:7.
