Grow In Faith

Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen - Hebrews 11:1.

1. Hear the Word of God

Faith grows as we hear the Word of God. 

So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God - Romans 10:17.

2. Believe & speak

Faith grows as we believe and speak to the situations. 

For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Mark 11:23.

 If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you - Matthew 17:20.

It is written: “I believed ; therefore I have spoken. “Since we have that same spirit of faith, we also believe and therefore speak – 2 Corinthians 4:13. 

3. Live by faith

Faith grows as we live by faith.

For we live by faith, not by sight - 2 Corinthians 5:7. 

The just shall live by faith - Hebrews 10:38.                                                                           

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us grow in faith by hearing Your Word, believing and speaking to situations and living by faith. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen. 

Favor In The Sight of God And Man

And so find favor and high esteem in the sight of God and man - Proverbs 3:4.

God's favor for us

            God's favor lasts a lifetime. lasts a lifetime. For His anger lasts only a moment, but His favor lasts a lifetime - Psalm 30:5. For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless - Psalm 84:11. You will arise and have mercy on Zion; For the time to favor her, Yes, the set time, has come - Psalm 102:13. 

Be good

A good man obtains favor from the Lord, but a man of evil devices he condemns - Proverbs 12:2.

Be righteous

Surely, Lord, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield -Psalm 5:12.

Find God

For whoever finds me finds life, and obtains favor from the Lord - Proverbs 8:35.

Seek good

He who earnestly seeks good finds favor - Proverbs 11:27.   

Exalted

In Your favor our horn is exalted - Psalm 89:17. 

Favor in the sight of God and man - love and faithfulness

Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man - Proverbs 3:3,4.

Noah

Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord. But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord - Genesis 6:8. 

Joseph

The Lord was with him; he showed him kindness and granted him favor in the eyes of the prison warden - Genesis 39:21.

Samuel

And the child Samuel grew in stature, and in favor both with the Lord and men - 1 Samuel 2:26.

Queen Esther 

 The king loved Esther more than all the other women, and she obtained grace and favor in his sight more than all the virgins - Esther 2:17. 

Daniel 

 Now God had caused the official to show favor and compassion to Daniel - Daniel 1:9.

 Mary

The angel went to her and said, “Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you” - Luke 1:28. 

Jesus

And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men - Luke 2:52.

May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us - Psalm 90:17.    

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us find favor in Your eyes and eyes of people. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Great Things Beyond Our Understanding

 He does great things beyond our understanding - Job 37:5.

             Our God is great and He does great things in our life beyond our understanding. How great is God - beyond our understanding! The number of his years is past finding out - Job 36:26. The works of the Lord are great - Psalm 111:2. How great you are, Sovereign Lord! There is no one like you, and there is no God but you, as we have heard with our own ears - 2 Samuel 7:22. 

             We need to seek our great God and consider what great things He has done for us beyond our understanding and praise God. But as for me, I would seek God, And to God I would commit my cause— Who does great things, and unsearchable, Marvelous things without number - Job5:8,9. Consider what great things he has done for you -  1 Samuel 12:24.        

            Let us thank and praise God who is great and who does great things in our life beyond our understanding. For He who is mighty has done great things for me, And holy is His name - Luke 1:49.   I will extol You, my God, O King; And I will bless Your name forever and ever. Every day I will bless You, And I will praise Your name forever and ever. Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; And His greatness is unsearchable - Psalm 145:1-3.

I Will Praise You For You Have Answered Me

I will praise You, For You have answered me - Psalm 118:21. 

Blessed be the Lord, Because He has heard the voice of my supplications! - Psalm 28:6.

In my distress I called to the Lord; I cried to my God for help. From his temple he heard my voice; my cry came before him, into his ears - Psalm 18:6. 

I called on the Lord in distress; The Lord answered me and set me in a broad place - Psalm 118:15.

But certainly, God has heard me; He has attended to the voice of my prayer - Psalm 66:19. Blessed be God, because he has not rejected my prayer or removed his steadfast love from me - Psalm 66:19-20. 

On the day I called, You answered me; You made me bold with strength in my soul - Psalm 138:3. 

I was crying to the Lord with my voice, And He answered me from His holy mountain - Psalm 3:4.

I sought the Lord, and He answered me, And delivered me from all my fears - Psalm 34:4.

In my trouble I cried to the Lord, And He answered me - Psalm 120:1.

I shall give thanks to You, for You have answered me, And You have become my salvation - Psalm 118:21.

I called out of my distress to the Lord, And He answered me - Jonah 2:2.

Blessed be God, Who has not turned away my prayer, Nor His mercy from me! - Psalm 66:20.                                                                    

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You and praise You for answering us. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

The Lord Is With Me

 The Lord is with me; he is my helper. I look in triumph on my enemies - Psalm 118:7.

The Lord is with me

Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God - Isaiah 41:10. The Lord of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge - Psalm 46:7.  

He is my helper

I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand - Isaiah 41:10.

I look in triumph on my enemies

For he has delivered me from every trouble, and my eye has looked in triumph on my enemies - Psalm 54:7.                                                                              

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for being with us and helping us to look in triumph on our enemies. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen. 

Live By The Word of God

Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God - Matthew 4:4.

Living

For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart - Hebrews 4:12.

Reviving 

Revive me, O Lord, according to your word  - Psalm 119:107.

Refreshing

The law of the Lord is perfect, refreshing the soul - Psalm 19:7.

Making wise

The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple - Psalm 19:7.

Rejoicing

The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart - Psalm 19:8.

Delighting

Your commands give me delight - Psalm 119:143.

Enlightening

The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes - Psalm 19:8.

Guiding

Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path - Psalm 119:105.

My son, pay attention to what I say; turn your ear to my words. Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart - Proverbs 4:20-21.

                          I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you - Psalm 119:11.                                                                                     

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us turn our ear to Your Words, keep them within our heart and live by Your word. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen. 

These Are The Things I Will Do & I Will Not Forsake Them

I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them - Isaiah 42:16. 

               God who is the Maker of all things will lead us and guide us in the ways we did not know, turn the darkness into light and make the rough places smooth.  We do not know His works like how we do not know the way of the wind or  how the bones grow in the womb of her who is with child. As you do not know what is the way of the wind, Or how the bones grow in the womb of her who is with child, So you do not know the works of God who makes everything - Ecclesiastes 11:5. 

I will lead the blind by ways they have not known

                    God will lead us in ways we do not know. Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert - Isaiah 43:18,19. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert - Isaiah 43:19.

We don’t know where we are going

Along unfamiliar paths I will guide them

                     God will guide us in paths that are unfamiliar for us. I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye - Psalm 32:8. Teach me the way in which I should walk; For to You I lift up my soul - Psalm 143:8. I instruct you in the way of wisdom and lead you along straight paths - Proverbs 4:11. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths - Proverbs 3:6.

I will turn the darkness into light before them 

                  God will turn darkness into light before us. You, Lord, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light - Psalm 18:28. The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; Those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, Upon them a light has shined - Isaiah 9:2.

I will make the rough places smooth  

                   God will go before us, break the obstacles and make all our crooked places straight. I will go before you and make the crooked places straight - Isaiah 45:2. Every valley shall be exalted and every mountain and hill brought low; The crooked places shall be made straight and the rough places smooth - Isaiah 40:4,5. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight - Proverbs 3: 5, 6.

These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them 

                    God will lead us in ways we do not know and guide us in the paths that are unfamiliar for us. He will make darkness light before us and rough places smooth in our life. He will do these things and He will never forsake us. I will never leave you nor forsake you - Joshua 1:5. The Lord has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes - Psalm 118:23. And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed - Deuteronomy 31:8. 

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go - Joshua 1:9.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for leading us in ways we do not know and guiding us along unfamiliar paths, turning the darkness into light before us and making rough places smooth and forsaking us. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
