Grace And Peace Be Yours In Abundance

Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord - 2 Peter 1:2.

                 God will give us grace and peace in abundance as we grow in the knowledge of God and Jesus our Lord. The Word of God is the ultimate resource that helps us to grow in the knowledge of God and thrive in our spiritual life. All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching the truth, rebuking error, correcting faults, and giving instruction for right living, so that the person who serves God may be fully qualified and equipped to do every kind of good deed - 2 Timothy 3:16-17. 

We need God's Word to live 

Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God - Matthew 4:4 

Plant God’s Word in heart 

I keep your law in my heart, so that I will not sin against you - Psalm 119:11.

We will be fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God as we grow in God’s Word

You may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God - Colossians 1:9b-10.

Continue to grow in God’s Word  

But continue to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory, now and forever! Amen -  2 Peter 3:18.  

The grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus - 1 Timothy 1:14. 

Great peace have those who love Your law, And nothing causes them to stumble - Psalm 119:165.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for giving us grace and peace in abundance as we grow more in Your knowledge by Your Word. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
