For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart - Hebrews 4:12.
Love God's Word
Oh, how I love Your law! It is my meditation all the day - Psalm 119:97. My eyes are awake through the night watches, That I may meditate on Your word - Psalm 119:148.
Delight in God's Word
I delight in Your law -Psalm 119:70.
Your commandments are my delights - Psalm 119:143.
Make me walk in the path of Your commandments, For I delight in it - Psalm 119:35.
Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers - Psalm 1:1-3.
Rejoice in God's Word
I rejoice at Your word as one who finds great treasure - Psalm 119:162.
Tremble at God's word
These are the ones I look on with favor: those who are humble and contrite in spirit, and who tremble at my word - Isaiah 66:2.
Treasure God's Word
I have treasured the words of His mouth more than my necessary food - Job 23:12.
Abide in God's Word
If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you - John 15:7.
Live by God's word
Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God - Matthew 4:4.
Hope in God's Word
You are my hiding place and my shield; I hope in Your word - Psalm 119:114. My soul faints for Your salvation, But I hope in Your word - Psalm 119:81.
Meditate God's Word
This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success - Joshua 1:8.
Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper - Psalm 1:1-3.
Keep God's word in heart
My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart; For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh - Proverbs 4:20-22.
Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You - Psalm 119:11.
Incline my heart to Your testimonies, And not to covetousness - Psalm 119:36.
The law of their God is in their hearts; their feet do not slip - Psalm 37:31.
Obey God's Word
But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does - James 1:22-25.
Your statutes are wonderful; therefore I obey them - Psalm 119:129.
Blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it! - Luke 11:28.
