These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world - John 16:33.
We will have tribulation in the world but God had overcome the world and given us His peace. Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid - John 14:27. God's peace will be with us even in midst of storm as we bring everything to God in prayer, trust God and turn our thoughts towards God.
God's peace with us - Bring everything to God in prayer
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus - Philippians 4:6,7.
You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You - Isaiah 26:3.
God's peace with us - Turn your thoughts towards God
Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you - Philippians 4:8.
Let God's peace rule our hearts. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful - Colossians 3:15. In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety - Psalm 4:8.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for giving us Your peace. Let us bring everything to You in prayer, trust You and turn our thoughts towards You. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
