The LORD Is With Me

The LORD is with me; I will not be afraid - Psalm 118:6.

The Lord of hosts

The Lord of hosts is with us - Psalm 46:11.

Immanuel

“Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel” (which means God with us) - Isaiah 41:10.

Mighty Warrior

But the Lord is with me like a mighty warrior; so my persecutors will stumble and not prevail. They will fail and be thoroughly disgraced; their dishonor will never be forgotten - Jeremiah 20:11.

Mighty Savior

For the Lord your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior - Zephaniah 3:17.

It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed - Deuteronomy 31:8.

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you - Isaiah 43:2.

Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand - Isaiah 41:10.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for being with us as the Lord of Hosts, Immanuel, Mighty Warrior and a Mighty Savior. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen. 

Pride Vs Humility

Clothe yourselves, all of you, with humility toward one another, for God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble. Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you - 1 Peter 5:5-6.

God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble

God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble - James 4:6.

Shame for pride but Wisdom for humble

When pride comes, then comes shame; But with the humble is wisdom  - Proverbs 11:2.

One’s pride will bring him low but one who is humble will obtain honor

One’s pride will bring him low, but he who is lowly in spirit will obtain honor - Proverbs 29:23.

One who is proud will be humbled but humble will be exalted

For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted - Luke 14:11.

Pride and arrogance and the way of evil and perverted speech I hate - Proverbs 8:13.

Victory for humble but destruction for pride

He crowns the humble with victory - Psalm 149:4. Pride goes before destruction - Proverbs 16:18.       

                                                                      He must increase, but I must decrease - John 3:30.

Each Day He Carries Us In His Arms

 Praise the Lord; praise God our savior! For each day he carries us in his arms - Psalm 68:19.

God carried us as a father carries his son

                 God carried us, as a father carries his son, all the way we went until we reached this place like how He carried the Israelites in the wilderness. Then I said to you, “Do not be terrified; do not be afraid of them. The Lord your God, who is going before you, will fight for you, as he did for you in Egypt, before your very eyes, and in the wilderness. There you saw how the Lord your God carried you, as a father carries his son, all the way you went until you reached this place.” - Deuteronomy 1:29-31.

God carries us each day like a Shepherd who carries his lambs

             God carries us in His arms each day like a Shepherd who carries his lambs, strengthens us and sustains us with His righteous right hand. For each day he carries us in his arms - Psalm 68:19. He tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart; He gently leads those that have young - Isaiah 40:11. Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand - Isaiah 41:10. 

God who made us will carry us till old age

               God who carried us, who carry us each day, will carry us till our old age. Even to your old age, I am He, And even to gray hairs I will carry you! I have made, and I will bear; Even I will carry, and will deliver you - Isaiah 46:4. In his love and mercy he redeemed them; he lifted them up and carried them all the days of old - Isaiah 63:9.

God Has Not Given Us A Spirit of Fear

 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind - 2 Timothy 1:7.

         God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” - Romans 8:15.

No fear as God is with us

            I will fear no evil, for you are with me - Psalm 23:4. Do not be afraid, for I am with you; I will bless you - Genesis 26:24. Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you - Deuteronomy 31:6.

No fear as God is our Helper

             For he has said, ‘I will never leave you nor forsake you.’ So we can confidently say, ’The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?’”  - Hebrews 13:5b-6. “Fear not, you worm Jacob, You men of Israel! I will help you,” says the Lord - Isaiah 41:4.

No fear as we trust God

         When I am afraid, I will put my trust in You - Psalm 56:3.

No fear as we are delivered from the hand of our enemies

          To grant us that we, Being delivered from the hand of our enemies, Might serve Him without fear - Lk 1:74.

No fear in love

          There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love - 1 John 4:18.

Open Door

Behold, I have set before you an open door, which no one is able to shut - Revelation 3:8.    

                  God goes before us, breaks all the obstacles in our life and set before us an open door. The One who breaks open the way will go up before them; they will break through the gate and go out. Their King will pass through before them, the Lord at their head - Micah 2:13. I will go before you and make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze and cut the bars of iron - Isaiah 45:2.          

Jericho

            The walls of Jericho which was an obstacle for Israelites fell down as they marched around them for seven days. By faith the walls of Jericho fell, after the people had marched around them for seven days - Hebrews 11:30. So the people shouted when the priests blew the trumpets. And it happened when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat. Then the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city. And they utterly destroyed all that was in the city, both man and woman, young and old, ox and sheep and donkey, with the edge of the sword - Joshua 6:20,21.            

Rehoboth

              Isaac faced obstacles over the wells he dug, but at Rehoboth, God made room for him to flourish without any opposition. He moved on from there and dug another well, and no one quarreled over it. He named it Rehoboth, saying, “Now the Lord has given us room and we will flourish in the land.” From there he went up to Beersheba. That night the Lord appeared to him and said, “I am the God of your father Abraham. Do not be afraid, for I am with you; I will bless you and will increase the number of your descendants for the sake of my servant Abraham.”- Genesis 26:22-24.

                                                                      

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for going before us, breaking all obstacles in our life and setting us an open door. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Great And Marvelous Are Your Works Lord God Almighty

 Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God Almighty! - Revelation 15:3. 

Great are Your works       

                    You who have done great things; O God, who is like You? - Psalm 71:19. For He who is mighty has done great things for me - Luke 1:49. He does great things beyond our understanding - Job 37:5. Do not be afraid, land of Judah; be glad and rejoice. Surely the Lord has done great things! - Joel 2:21. It was your own eyes that saw all these great things the Lord has done - Deuteronomy 11:7.

Marvelous are Your works

                   The Lord has done marvelous things! - Joel 2:21. I will show them marvelous things - Micah 7:15. For you are great and do marvelous deeds; you alone are God - Psalm 86:10. Oh, sing to the Lord a new song! For He has done marvelous things - Psalm 98:1.  But as for me, I would seek God, And to God I would commit my cause - Who does great things, and unsearchable, marvelous things without number - Job 5:8,9. 

Remember His great and marvelous works 

        Great are the works of the LORD; they are pondered by all who delight in them - Psalm 111:12. Remember His marvelous works which He has done -1 Chronicles 16:12. He has made His wonderful works to be remembered - Psalm 111:4. Come and see the works of God; He is awesome in His doing toward the sons of men - Psalm 66:5.  

Thank God who made us glad through His great and marvelous works 

                   Let us thank God who had made us glad through His great and marvelous works. For You, Lord, have made me glad through Your work; I will triumph in the works of Your hands - Psalm 92:4. The Lord has done great things for us, And we are glad - Psalm 126:1-3. How many are your works, LORD! - Psalm 104:24.  I will praise You, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will tell of all Your marvelous works - Psalm 9:1.  

                                                                           

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for making us glad through Your great and marvelous works in our life. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

           

God’s Love

God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us - Romans 5:5.

Love of Christ which passes knowledge

            Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height - to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God - Ephesians 3:17-19.

Never Ending Love

           The faithful love of the LORD never ends! His mercies never cease - Lamentations 3:22. The faithful love of the LORD never ends! His mercies never cease - Lamentations 3:22. I have loved you with an everlasting love - Jeremiah 31:3. 

Unfailing Love

         How priceless is your unfailing love, O God! - Psalm 36:7. I will be glad and rejoice in Your unfailing love, for You have seen my troubles, and You care about the anguish of my soul - Psalm 31:7.   

Great love

           But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions - it is by grace you have been saved - Ephesians 2:4,5.
