David praised God on the day when
the Lord had delivered him from the hand of all his enemies and from Saul. Then
David spoke to the Lord the words of this song, on the day when the Lord had
delivered him from the hand of all his enemies, and from the hand of Saul. And
he said: The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; The God of my
strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, My
stronghold and my refuge; My Savior, You save me from violence - Psalm 22:1-3.
Moses and the children of Israel
sang songs of praises for God after their deliverance from the hands of
Egyptians at the Red Sea. Who is like You, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like
You, glorious in holiness, Fearful in praises, doing wonders? - Exodus 15:11. Hannah
praised God for answering her prayer for a son. And Hannah prayed and said: “My
heart rejoices in the Lord; My horn is exalted in the Lord. I smile at my
enemies, Because I rejoice in Your salvation” - 1 Samuel 2:1
Mary praised and magnified God for great things He had done in her life. For He who is mighty has done great things for me, And holy is His name - Luke 1:49. Let us sing songs of praise for all the miraculous work of God in our life. Every day I will bless You, And I will praise Your name forever and ever - Psalm 145:2. Sing to Him, sing psalms to Him; Talk of all His wondrous works! - 1 Chronicles 16:9.
