Songs Of Praise

Oh come, let us sing to the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation! Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise! - Psalm 95: 1-2.

David praised God on the day when the Lord had delivered him from the hand of all his enemies and from Saul. Then David spoke to the Lord the words of this song, on the day when the Lord had delivered him from the hand of all his enemies, and from the hand of Saul. And he said: The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; The God of my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, My stronghold and my refuge; My Savior, You save me from violence - Psalm 22:1-3.

Moses and the children of Israel sang songs of praises for God after their deliverance from the hands of Egyptians at the Red Sea. Who is like You, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like You, glorious in holiness, Fearful in praises, doing wonders? - Exodus 15:11. Hannah praised God for answering her prayer for a son. And Hannah prayed and said: “My heart rejoices in the Lord; My horn is exalted in the Lord. I smile at my enemies, Because I rejoice in Your salvation” - 1 Samuel 2:1

Mary praised and magnified God for great things He had done in her life. For He who is mighty has done great things for me, And holy is His name - Luke 1:49.  Let us sing songs of praise for all the miraculous work of God in our life. Every day I will bless You, And I will praise Your name forever and ever - Psalm 145:2. Sing to Him, sing psalms to Him; Talk of all His wondrous works! - 1 Chronicles 16:9.

PRAYER: We praise You for doing great and marvelous things in our life. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Open Our Eyes Lord

Open my eyes, that I may see Wondrous things from Your law - Psalm 119:18.

There are wonderful things in the Word of God. It enlighten our eyes and rejoices our heart. The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes - Psalm 19:8. Let us treasure the Word of God in our heart. Your word I have treasured in my heart, that I may not sin against you - Psalm -119:11.

God gives us direction to our life through His Word. Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path - Psalm 119:105. Let us live in humility with a pure heart for our eyes to see the guidance of God from His Word. The humble He guides in justice, And the humble He teaches His way - Psalm 25:9. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God - Matthew 5:8.

May the eyes of our understanding be enlightened to know the will of God. The God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints - Ephesians 1:17,18.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Open our eyes to see the wondrous things in Your Word. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

The Anointing Breaks Every Yoke In Our Life

It shall come to pass in that day That his burden will be taken away from your shoulder, And his yoke from your neck, And the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing oil - Isaiah 10:27.

God has anointed us and sealed us. Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God, who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee - 2 Corinthians 1: 21,22. He saves His anointed. Now I know that the Lord saves His anointed; He will answer him from His holy heaven with the saving strength of His right hand - Psalm 20:6. The anointing of the Holy Spirit sets us free from any yoke of captivity.

The anointing breaks the yoke of sickness. And they cast out many demons, and anointed with oil many who were sick, and healed them - Mark 6:13. Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord - James 5:14. It protects us from demonic forces. When the enemy comes in like a flood, The Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him - Isaiah 59:19. All things are possible by the Spirit of God. Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the Lord of hosts - Zechariah 4:6.

God had anointed us to set people free from bondages. How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him - Acts 10:38. The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, Because the Lord has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound - Isaiah 61:1.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for breaking every yoke in our life by anointing and setting us free. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

The Lord Is The Stronghold of Our Life

The Lord is the stronghold of my life - of whom shall I be afraid? - Psalm 27:1.

The Lord is the stronghold of our life. David praised God as his stronghold after being delivered from his enemies. The LORD is my rock and my fortress any my deliverer, My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I call upon the LORD who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies - Psalm 18: 1-3.

With God as our stronghold, we have divine protection from our enemies. The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; The God of my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, My stronghold and my refuge; My Savior, You save me from violence - Psalm 22:1-3. Let us always trust the Lord and not fear about anything as He is our stronghold.

God is our stronghold in the day of trouble and so let us take refuge in Him. The Lord is good, A stronghold in the day of trouble; And He knows those who trust in Him - Nahum 1:7. He is our loving God who knows all about us. Let us thank God for being our stronghold in all situations. He is my loving God and my fortress, my stronghold and my deliverer, my shield, in whom I take refuge - Psalm 144:2.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for being the stronghold of our life. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Peace

The Lord will give strength to His people; The Lord will bless His people with peace – Psalm 29:11.

Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid - John 14:27.

Blessed are the peacemakers, For they shall be called sons of God - Matthew 5:9.

Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way. The Lord be with you all - 2 Thessalonians 3:16.

I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; For You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety - Psalm 4:8.

You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You - Isaiah 26:3.

And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful - Colossians 3:15.

Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace - James 3:18.

Great peace have those who love Your law, And nothing causes them to stumble - Psalm 119:165.

The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace - Numbers 6:24-26.

These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world - John 16:33.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus - Philippians 4:6-7.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are the God of Peace. We thank You for filling us with great peace. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Our Eyes Look To The Lord Until He Has Mercy On Us

Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their masters, As the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress, So our eyes look to the Lord our God until He has mercy on us - Psalm 123:2.

Our God is merciful. The Lord your God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn His face from you if you return to Him - 2 Chronicles 30:9. His mercy is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him. The mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him - Psalm 103:17. Therefore He has mercy on whom He wills - Romans 9:18.

Everything that we have comes from the Lord. Like how the eyes of servants look to the hands of their masters and as the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress, let our eyes look to the Lord our God until He has mercy on us. Let us hope in the Lord as there is mercy and abundant redemption in Him. O Israel, hope in the LORD; for with the LORD there is mercy, and with Him is abundant redemption - Psalm 130:7. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need - Hebrews 4:16.

Let us keep looking to the Lord our God patiently until He extends mercy on us as He is our help. I will lift up my eyes to the hills- From whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth - Psalm 121:1,2. Have mercy upon me, O God, According to Your lovingkindness - Psalm 51:1. My eyes are ever toward the Lord - Psalm 25:15.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let our eyes always look to You until You have mercy on us. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Be Doers of The Word

But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves - James 1:22.

We are so blessed when we keep the word of God. But He said, “More than that, blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!” - Luke 11:28. But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it - not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it - they will be blessed in what they do - James 1:25.

We will be in the family of God when we are the doers of the word of God. But He answered and said to them, “My mother and My brothers are these who hear the word of God and do it” - Luke 8:21. If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make our home with him - John 14:23.

Our ways will be prosperous when we are the doers of the Word. This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success - Joshua 1:8.

Let us always be the doers of the Word and not only hearers. Keep my commands and you will live; guard my teachings as the apple of your eye - Proverbs 7:2. He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him - 1 John 2:4,5.

Prayer: Dear Lord, We thank you for your Word. Help us not only to listen but to do what it says. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Greater Is He That Is In Me

He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world - 1 John 4:4.

God who is in us is greater than he who is in the world. He dwells in us and walks among us. I will dwell in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they shall be My people - 2 Corinthians 6:16. Christ who lives in us is the hope of glory. I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me - Galatians 2:20. Christ in you, the hope of glory - Colossians 1:20.

We are overcomers as Christ who has overcome Satan, continues to overcome him in us. Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it - Colossians 2:15. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil - 1 John 3:8. We are more than a conqueror through Christ. We are more than conquerors through him who loved us - Romans 8:37.

As greater God is in us, we can do all things through Him who strengthens us. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me - Philippians 4:13. He who is in us is mighty and greater than any situation we face in our life. He will save us and protect us from all evil. The Lord your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save - Zephaniah 3:17. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world - John 16:33.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You as greater is You who is in us than he who is in the world. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

No One Can Stop The Purposes of God In Our Life

For the Lord Almighty has purposed, and who can thwart him? His hand is stretched out, and who can turn it back? - Isaiah 14:27.

God’s plans and purposes will always come to pass in our life. His plans are always better than our plans. There are many plans in a man’s heart, Nevertheless the Lord’s counsel - that will stand - Proverbs 19:21. Only He knows the end of every happening in our life. Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things that are not yet done, Saying, ‘My counsel shall stand, And I will do all My pleasure - Isaiah 46:10. He who began the good work in us will continue His work until it is finished.

God does what He pleases. No one can prevent Him from carrying out His plans. He does as he pleases with the powers of heaven and the peoples of the earth. No one can hold back his hand or say to him: “What have you done?” - Daniel 4:35. No one can hinder the plan of God in our life. But He is unchangeable, and who can turn him back? What he desires, that he does. For he will complete what he appoints for me - Job 23:13–14. Our God is in the heavens; he does all that he pleases - Psalm 115:3.

Job believed that God can do everything and no purpose of Him will be withheld from Him. I know that You can do everything, And that no purpose of Yours can be withheld from You - Job 42:2. God leads us according to His plans in our life. All things work for our good and His glory. Like Job, let us also wait for the appointed time of God as His purposes always prevail. A man’s heart plans his way, But the Lord directs his steps - Proverbs 16:9. Let us believe God and His promises in our life as no one can stop the plan that God has for us.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You as You work in our life according to Your purposes and no one can stop it. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Apple of God's Eye

He who touches you touches the apple of His eye - Zechariah 2:8.

God’s love for us is so great. He who touches us touches the apple of His eye. He is faithful to guard us from the evil one. But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one - 2 Thessalonians 3:3. David prayed to God to keep him as the apple of His eye. Keep me as the apple of your eye; Hide me in the shadow of your wings - Psalm 17:8.

God protects us and cares us like how the pupil of our eye is protected. Our eyebrows keep sweat from getting in and eye lashes keep all intruders out. Eyelids close to provide rest and to protect the pupil. Likewise, God keeps us as the apple of His eye. He protects us from all dangers and gives us rest. He found him in a desert land and in the wasteland, a howling wilderness; He encircled him, He instructed him, He kept him as the apple of His eye - Deuteronomy 32:10.

As we are born of God, the enemy cannot touch us. He who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him - 1 John 5:18. We are the children of God and the one who touches us touches the apple of His eye. Nothing can harm us as God defends us from every plan of enemy by keeping us as the apple of His eye. No weapon formed against you shall prosper - Isaiah 54:17.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You keeping us as the apple of Your eye. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Worship His Majesty

The Lord reigns, He is clothed with majesty - Psalm 93:1.

Our God is majestic in holiness. Who among the gods is like you, Lord? Who is like you - majestic in holiness, awesome in glory, working wonders? - Exodus 15:11. He is majestic in His deeds. Glorious and majestic are his deeds, and his righteousness endures forever - Psalm 111:3. His name is majestic in all the earth. Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! - Psalm 8:9. His majesty is revealed in the creation of world. He has made the earth by His power- Jeremiah 10:12.

The Israelites saw the majesty of God in the opening of the Red sea and praised Him. He rebuked the Red Sea also, and it dried up; So He led them through the depths, As through the wilderness. He saved them from the hand of him who hated them, And redeemed them from the hand of the enemy. The waters covered their enemies; There was not one of them left - Psalm 106:9-11.

Let us praise and worship the majesty of God for His marvelous works in our life. Praise the Lord, my soul. Lord my God, you are very great; you are clothed with splendor and majesty - Psalm 104:1. Yours, Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is yours - 1 Chronicles 29:11.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are clothed with majesty. We praise and worship Your majesty. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

The secret of the Lord is with those who fear Him, And He will show them His covenant - Psalm 25:14.

And His mercy is on those who fear Him from generation to generation - Luke 1:50.

Blessed are all who fear the Lord, who walk in obedience to him. You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessings and prosperity will be yours. Your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your house; your children will be like olive shoots around your table. Yes, this will be the blessing for the man who fears the Lord - Psalm 128:1-4.

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge - Proverbs 1:7.

Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and depart from evil - Proverbs 3:7.

Do not let your heart envy sinners, But be zealous for the fear of the Lord all the day - Proverbs 23:17.

My Soul Waits In Silence For God Alone

For God alone my soul waits in silence; from him comes my salvation. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be greatly shaken - Psalm 62:1-2.

God alone is our rock, fortress, salvation, hope, help and shield. Therefore, let us wait in silence for Him alone for salvation. Our soul waits for the LORD; He is our help and our shield - Psalm 33:20. For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from him - Psalm 62:5. It is good that one should wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord - Lamentations 3:26.

Let us wait quietly for the Lord to teach His ways and paths. Make me to know your ways, O Lord; teach me your paths. Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all the day long - Psalm 25:4-5. Let us wait for the Lord with the hope in His word. I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in his word I hope; my soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen for the morning, more than watchmen for the morning - Psalm 130:5–6.

Let us wait quietly for the salvation for the Lord and we will rejoice in His salvation. Wait for the LORD; be strong, and let your heart take courage; Wait for the LORD! - Psalm 27:14. I wait for your salvation, O Lord - Genesis 49:18. And it will be said in that day: “Behold, this is our God; We have waited for Him, and He will save us. This is the Lord; We have waited for Him; We will be glad and rejoice in His salvation - Isaiah 25:9.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let our soul wait in silence for You alone. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Value Others Above Yourselves

Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others - Philippians 2:3,4.

God wants us to value others above ourselves in humility. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace - Ephesians 4:2-3. Let us walk in humility as pride will never allow us to think others better than us. God’s favor will be upon us when we are humble in spirit. These are the ones I look on with favor: those who are humble and contrite in spirit, and who tremble at my word - Isaiah 66:2.

As all the people are images of God, we need to value others as valued by God. With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse human beings, who have been made in God’s likeness. Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers and sisters, this should not be - James 3:9,10. Let us love others as ourselves. Love your neighbor as you love yourself - Matthew 22:39.

When we have the mind of Christ, we will always never look our own interests but the interests of others also. But we have the mind of Christ - 1 Corinthians 2:16. Let us see others as God sees and value others above ourselves. Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you - Romans 12:3.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Change our heart. Help us to value others above ourselves in humility. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Enduring Hardships With Joy

My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials - James 1:2.

Paul said that he rejoiced in his sufferings for the sake of church as suffering in his flesh is a privilege of sharing in the sufferings of Christ. I now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up in my flesh what is lacking in the afflictions of Christ, for the sake of His body, which is the church - Colossians 1:24. From the Jews five times I received forty stripes minus one. Three times I was beaten with rods; once I was stoned; three times I was shipwrecked; a night and a day I have been in the deep; in journeys often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils of my own countrymen, in perils of the Gentiles, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren; in weariness and toil, in sleeplessness often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness - 2 Corinthians 11:24-27.

Paul had fought the good fight by enduring all the sufferings with joy. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith - 2 Timothy 4:7. Let us endure all hardships with joy, confidence and the strength of God. But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry - 2 Timothy 4:5. Trials will make us strong to become more like Christ. I can do all this through him who gives me strength - Philippians 4:13. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world - John 16:33.

As our God is faithful to help us by providing a way to escape all temptations, let us endure the hardships with confidence and joy. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it - 1 Corinthians 10:13. Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise - Hebrews 10:35,36.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to endure all the hardships in life with joy. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

What God Speaks Will Come To Pass

For I am the LORD: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass - Ezekiel 12:25.

Our God is such a powerful God that what He speaks will come to pass. What I have said, that will I bring about - Isaiah 46:11. He created the world by His word. He keeps what He speaks. Does he speak and then not act?  Does he promise and not fulfill? - Numbers 23:19. His word will never pass away. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away - Matthew 24:35. For no word from God will ever fail - Luke 1:37.

Jesus calmed the storms of the sea with a word. Then He arose and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water. And they ceased, and there was a calm - Luke 20:24. The Red Sea dried up when He rebuked it. He rebuked the Red Sea also, and it dried up - Psalm 106:9. For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast - Psalm 33:9.

God’s Word accomplishes which He pleases and purposes. It prospers in the thing for which He sent it. So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it - Isaiah 55:11. His word will never return void. Let us trust God as He can stop all the storms of life with a word. Then the Lord said to me, “You have seen well, for I am ready to perform My word” - Jeremiah 1:12.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are the promise keeper. We believe that what You have spoken to us will surely come to pass. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Escape From The Snares of Devil

Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler And from the perilous pestilence - Psalm 91:3.

The enemy always comes only to steal, kill and destroy us. For they have dug a pit to take me, And hidden snares for my feet- Jeremiah 18:22. Our intimacy with God and relying on the Holy Spirit will help us to discern and reveal the hidden snares of enemy. When we pray to God, He will show us great and mighty things which we never know. They may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will - 2 Timothy 2:26.

Let our eyes be ever toward the Lord who is our strength as He will pull us out of the snares of enemies. My eyes are ever toward the Lord, For He shall pluck my feet out of the net - Psalm 25:15. Pull me out of the net which they have secretly laid for me, For You are my strength - Psalm 31:4. Keep me from the snares they have laid for me, And from the traps of the workers of iniquity - Psalm 141:9.

Let us praise God as the snare is broken with His help and our soul has totally escaped.  Blessed be the Lord, Who has not given us as prey to their teeth. Our soul has escaped as a bird from the snare of the fowlers; The snare is broken, and we have escaped. Our help is in the name of the Lord Who made heaven and earth - Psalm 124:6-8. Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you - James 4:7.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for delivering us from the snares of devil. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

God’s loving kindness is precious and better than life. Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise You - Psalm 63:3. The loving kindness of God is marvelous.                God delights in exercising loving kindness in our life. That I am the Lord, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight, says the Lord - Jeremiah 9:24. The Lord will command His lovingkindness in the daytime, And in the night His song shall be with me - A prayer to the God of my life - Psalm 42:8.

God crowns us with loving kindness and tender mercies. Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies - Psalm 103:4. Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you - Jeremiah 31:3.  Let us thank God for His everlasting loving kindness towards us. Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good, For His lovingkindness is everlasting - Psalm 107:1.

Have Mercy On Me, Lord

Have mercy on me, Lord, for I call to you all day long - Psalm 86:3.

Jesus granted the request of a Canaanite woman by healing her daughter when she cried to Him to have mercy on her.  And behold, a woman of Canaan came from that region and cried out to Him, saying, “Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David! My daughter is severely demon-possessed” - Matthew 15:22. Then Jesus answered and said to her, “O woman, great is your faith! Let it be to you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed from that very hour - Matthew 15:28.

Two blind men cried to Jesus to have mercy on them. When Jesus departed from there, two blind men followed Him, crying out and saying, “Son of David, have mercy on us!” - Matthew 9:27. Then He touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith let it be to you.” And their eyes were opened - Matthew 9:29,30.  While Jesus was going out of Jericho, two blind men again cried to Jesus for mercy and they received sight (Matthew 20:29-31). Blind Bartimaeus cried to Jesus to have mercy on him and he received sight (Mark 10:46-48). We receive healing by the mercies of God.

Ten lepers were cleansed when they lifted up their voices to Jesus to have mercy on them. And they lifted up their voices and said, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!”, So when He saw them, He said to them, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And so it was that as they went, they were cleansed - Luke 17:13,14. Let us cry to God to have mercy on us. Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful to me! For my soul trusts in You; And in the shadow of Your wings I will make my refuge, Until these calamities have passed by - Psalm 57:1. With a little wrath I hid My face from you for a moment; But with everlasting kindness I will have mercy on you, Says the Lord, your Redeemer - Isaiah 54:8.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Your mercies are great. Have mercy on us. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Overcome Evil With Good

Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good - Romans 12:21.

Saul had tried to kill David many times. But David refused to kill Saul even though he got the opportunity to kill him. He said to his men, “The Lord forbid that I should do such a thing to my master, the Lord’s anointed, or lift my hand against him; for he is the anointed of the Lord.” With these words David rebuked his men and did not allow them to attack Saul. And Saul left the cave and went his way - 1 Samuel 24:6,7.

David refused to take revenge against Saul but instead leaves it in God’s hands. He is careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. Therefore, let the Lord be judge, and judge between you and me, and see and plead my case, and deliver me out of your hand - 1 Samuel 24:15. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord - Romans 12:17-19.

Saul confessed that David has done good to him. Saul asked, “Is that your voice, David my son?” And he wept aloud. “You are more righteous than I,” he said. “You have treated me well, but I have treated you badly - 1 Samuel 24:16-17. Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you - Luke 6:27. Let us love our enemies and return good for evil. Do not repay anyone evil for evil - Romans 12:17.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to overcome evil with good. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

God's Word - Food For Our Soul

Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God - Matthew 4:4.

God’s word is the food for our soul and we live by it. It offers us strength and far more greater pleasures than the world. There is nothing in the world that is sweeter than God’s word. They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the honeycomb. By them your servant is warned; in keeping them there is great reward - Psalm 19:10,11.

God’s Word is the health to our flesh. They are the life to all those who find them. My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart; For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh - Proverbs 4:20-22. It revives us and refreshes our soul. The law of the Lord is perfect, refreshing the soul - Psalm 19:7a.

Let us feed on the Word of God that was joy and our heart’s delight. When your words came, I ate them; they were my joy and my heart’s delight, for I bear your name, O Lord God Almighty - Jeremiah 15:16. Like new born babies, let us crave for God’s Word which is the pure spiritual milk. Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, now that you have tasted that the Lord is good - 1 Peter 2:2-3.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for Your Word that is life and food for our soul. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

I Have Set Before You An Open Door

See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it - Revelation 3:8.

Our God knows everything about us and He knows what is good for us. His thoughts and ways are always higher than our thoughts and ways. “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts - Isaiah 55: 8,9. He has complete control of our life and all things work for our good. A man’s heart plans his way, But the Lord directs his steps - Proverbs 16:9.

God opens doors that no one can shut and shuts doors no one can open. He will open the doors of opportunity that fits for us and close doors that He does not want us going through. He breaks all the obstacles in our life and opens the doors. "This is what the LORD says to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I take hold of to subdue nations before him and to strip kings of their armor, to open doors before him so that gates will not be shut: I will go before you and will level the mountains; I will break down gates of bronze and cut through bars of iron" - Isaiah 54:1-2. He makes all things beautiful in its time.

No one can stop the blessings that God had planned for us. God made Joseph as a leader of the Egypt in His appointed time. And Pharaoh said to Joseph, “See, I have set you over all the land of Egypt.” Then Pharaoh took his signet ring off his hand and put it on Joseph’s hand; and he clothed him in garments of fine linen and put a gold chain around his neck - Genesis 41:41,42. He will open the right doors at right time in our life. The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, And He delights in his way - Psalm 37:23.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for the open doors that You have placed in our life. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

By Faith The Walls of Jericho Fell down

By faith the walls of Jericho fell down after they were encircled for seven days - Hebrews 11:30.

The first obstacle the Israelites faced after crossing the Jordan river was Jericho. Now Jericho was securely shut up because of the children of Israel; none went out, and none came in - Joshua 6:1. God told Joshua that He had delivered Jericho into his hands and provided him the plan for taking Jericho. And the Lord said to Joshua: “See! I have given Jericho into your hand, its king, and the mighty men of valor” - Joshua 6:2.

The people marched silently around the city with only the priests blowing trumpets for six days, as instructed by God. On the seventh day, trumpets were sounded by the priests and the people shouted. the walls of the city were brought down and the Israelites captured the city. So the people shouted when the priests blew the trumpets. And it happened when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat. Then the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city - Joshua 6:20.

By faith and obedience, the children of Israel conquered Jericho. The walls of Jericho fell down after they were encircled for seven days by faith. For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also - James 2:26. God will break all the obstacles in our life. Let us receive all that God has in store for us by obeying God with faith.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for breaking all our obstacles in our life and giving us victory. Help us to obey Your word and follow Your plans with faith. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

In The Last Days

And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come - Matthew 24:14.

But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! - 2 timothy 3:1-5.

knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation - 2 Peter 3:3-4.

Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour - 1 John 2:18.

He was chosen before the creation of the world, but was revealed in these last times for your sake - 1 Peter 1:20.

And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows - Matthew 24:4-8.

The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron - 1 Timothy 4:1-2.

There would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their own ungodly lusts. These are sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit - Jude 18,19.

In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams - Acts 2:17.

Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen - Revelation 1:7.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Fill us with Your grace and increase our ability to discern everything in these last days. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
