Spiritual Weapons

 The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds - 2 Corinthians 10:4.

               The enemy is always in the battle to steal, kill and destroy the life that God has for us. For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh - 2 Corinthians 10:3. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places - Ephesians 6:12. God has given us Spiritual weapons to fight the Spiritual battle.

Word of God

God’s word is living and powerful. For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart - Hebrews 4:12. Jesus overcame the temptations of Satan in the wilderness, by applying God’s word. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God - Ephesians 6:12.

Name of God

The name of the Lord is a powerful weapon. The name of the Lord is a fortified tower; the righteous run to it and are safe - Proverbs 18:10.

Praise

Praise is a powerful weapon to fight against enemy. And now my head will be lifted up above my enemies around me; and I will offer in His tent sacrifices with shouts of joy; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord - Psalm 27:6. I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth - Psalm 34:1.

Prayer

Prayer is the most effective weapon to defeat enemies. Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know - Jeremiah 33:3.

Blood of the lamb & word of testimony

We can overcome the enemy the blood of the lamb and the word of testimony. They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death - Revelation 12:11.

Faith

The shield of faith protects us from the flaming darts of our enemy. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one - Hebrews 6:16. By faith the walls of Jericho fell down after they were encircled for seven days - Hebrews 11:30.                                                     

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for the powerful spiritual weapons You have given us to fight against our enemies. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
