Open my eyes, that I may see Wondrous things from Your law - Psalm 119:18.
There are wonderful things in the Word of
God. It enlighten our eyes and rejoices our heart. The statutes of the Lord are
right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening
the eyes - Psalm 19:8. Let us treasure the Word of God in our heart. Your word
I have treasured in my heart, that I may not sin against you - Psalm -119:11.
God
gives us direction to our life through His Word. Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light
to my path - Psalm 119:105. Let us live in humility with a pure heart for our
eyes to see the guidance of God from His Word. The humble He guides in justice,
And the humble He teaches His way - Psalm 25:9. Blessed are the pure in heart,
for they will see God - Matthew 5:8.
May the eyes of our understanding be
enlightened to know the will of God. The God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to
you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of
your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His
calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints - Ephesians
1:17,18.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, Open our eyes to
see the wondrous things in Your Word. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
