Praise To The Lord, Almighty

I will praise You, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will tell of all Your marvelous works - Psalm 9:1.

Deliverance

Giving thanks to God in all circumstances releases the supernatural power of God in our life. When Paul and Silas were in prison, they prayed and sang praises to God at midnight. But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them - Acts 16:25. God delivered Paul and Silas from jail. Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were loosed - Acts 16:26. The jailer and his entire household were also saved.

Peace of God

The peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard our hearts and minds as we give thanks to God, Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus - Philippians 4:6,7.

Daniel Gave Thanks To God

And in his upper room, with his windows open toward Jerusalem, he knelt down on his knees three times that day, and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as was his custom since early days - Daniel 6:10.

Daniel was in captivity of Babylon and during that time a decree was signed that if anyone petitions any God except King will be cast into the den of lions. All the governors of the kingdom, the administrators and satraps, the counselors and advisors, have consulted together to establish a royal statute and to make a firm decree, that whoever petitions any god or man for thirty days, except you, O king, shall be cast into the den of lions - Daniel 6:7.

Daniel continued to pray and give thanks to God even after he heard that the petition was signed. Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went home. And in his upper room, with his windows open toward Jerusalem, he knelt down on his knees three times that day, and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as was his custom since early days - Daniel 6:!0. Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus - 1 Thessalonians 5:18.

God rescued Daniel when he was thrown into the den of lions. He rescues and he saves; He performs signs and wonders in the heavens and on the earth. He has rescued Daniel from the power of the lions - Daniel 6:27. God will rescue us and show us His salvation in our life as we give thanks to Him in all circumstances. Those who sacrifice thank offerings honor me, to the blameless I will show my salvation - Psalm 50:23.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to give thanks to You in all circumstances. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Do Not Be Anxious About Anything

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God - Philippians 4:6.

Hannah made her requests made known to God by pouring out her heart in prayer. But have poured out my soul before the Lord - 1 Samuel 1:15. God answered her prayer and she praised God. Then Hannah prayed and said; ‘My heart rejoices in the Lord; in the Lord my horn is lifted high. My mouth boasts over my enemies, for I delight in your deliverance. There is no one holy like the Lord; there is no one besides you, there is no Rock like our God” - 1 Samuel 2:1-2.

Like Hannah, let us pour out our heart to God and bring all our needs to Him. Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you - 1 Peter 5:7. When we offer thanksgiving and lay all our requests before God instead of being anxious, the peace of God will rule our hearts. The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus - Philippians 4:7.

Let us not be anxious about anything but give thanks to God for everything that happens in our life. All things work good for those who love God and only God knows everything about us from beginning to end. May God’s peace rule our hearts. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful - Colossians 3:15.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us not to be anxious about anything. Let us make all our requests known to You with thanksgiving  by prayer and supplications. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

God Wants Us To Be Grateful

Giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ - Ephesians 5:20.

God wants us to be grateful to Him for everything. Jesus told the ten lepers to show themselves to the priests when they asked Him to show mercy. Then as He entered a certain village, there met Him ten men who were lepers, who stood afar off.  And they lifted up their voices and said, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!”.  So when He saw them, He said to them, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And so it was that as they went, they were cleansed” - Luke 17:12-14. They obeyed Jesus with faith by showing themselves to the priests and were cleansed.

All the ten lepers were healed by Jesus but only one came all the way back and thanked Him. And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice glorified God, and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks. And he was a Samaritan - Luke 17: 15,16. The lepers were healed as they believed the word of Jesus and obeyed to it. All things are possible to him who believes - Mark 9:23.

God expects our gratitude. So Jesus answered and said, “Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine? Were there not any found who returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?” And He said to him, “Arise, go your way. Your faith has made you well” - Luke 17:17-19. Let us never forget to thank God for every blessing we receive from Him.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to be grateful and give glory to You for everything You do in our life. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

God loads us with many benefits daily. Blessed be the Lord, Who daily loads us with benefits, The God of our salvation! - Psalm 68:19. Let us wait all day long on the God of our salvation who blesses us. Lead me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the God of my salvation; On You I wait all the day - Psalm 25:5.

Remember What God Has Done

I will remember the works of the Lord; Surely I will remember Your wonders of old - Psalm 77:11.

The works of the Lord are marvelous in our life.  Remember His marvelous works which He has done, His wonders, and the judgments of His mouth - Psalm 105:5. Let us remember the marvelous works done by God in our life and also remember that it is God who gives us the ability to produce wealth. You may say to yourself, “My power and the strength of my hands have produced this wealth for me.” But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth - Deuteronomy 8:17,18.

Moses reminded the Israelites to remember how God delivered them out of Egypt. You may remember the day in which you came out of the land of Egypt all the days of your life - Deuteronomy 16:3. You shall remember well what the Lord your God did to Pharaoh and to all Egypt: the great trials which your eyes saw, the signs and the wonders, the mighty hand and the outstretched arm, by which the Lord your God brought you out - Deuteronomy 7:18,19.

Let us take time to remember the mighty works of God in our life and give thanks to Him. And you shall remember that the Lord your God led you all the way these forty years in the wilderness - Deuteronomy 8:2. Declare His glory among the nations, His wonders among all peoples. For the Lord is great and greatly to be praised; He is to be feared above all gods - Psalm 96:3,4.

PRAYER: Dear Lord. We remember the marvelous works which You have done in our life and give You thanks. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
