I rejoice at Your Word as one who finds great treasure - Psalm 119:162.
The word of God refreshes our soul
and makes us wise. The law of the Lord is perfect, refreshing the soul. The
statutes of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple - Psalm 19:7. It
is the food that nourishes us. As newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the
word, that you may grow thereby - 1 Peter 2:2.
The word of God is the life to all
those who find them and it gives health to our flesh. My son, give attention to
my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your
eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart; For they are life to those who find
them, And health to all their flesh - Proverbs 4:20-22. It is the light to our path and lamp to our feet.
The Word of God is our hope and strength. It rejoices our heart and gives us joy. Your words were found, and I ate them, And Your word was to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart - Jeremiah 15:16. There is a great peace for all those who love God’s Word. Great peace have those who love Your law, And nothing causes them to stumble - Psalm 119:165. Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You - Psalm 119:11.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, We
thank You for Your Word which is a treasure that refreshes and rejoices our soul. In Jesus’ name we
pray. Amen.
