Be Satisfied With The Goodness of God And Praise Him

You satisfy me more than the richest feast. I will praise you with songs of joy - Psalm 63:5.

God satisfies us with His goodness as we are His people and so let us be satisfied with what we have and be thankful to Him. My people shall be satisfied with My goodness - Jeremiah 31:14. Jesus gave thanks to God for the five loaves and the two fish and it was multiplied. Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves. Then he gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the people. They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over. The number of those who ate was about five thousand men, besides women and children - Matthew 14:19-21.

Paul always expressed thankfulness to God for the people around him. We always thank God for all of you and continually mention you in our prayers - 1 Thessalonians 1:2. We give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you - Colossians 1:3. Let us thank God all the people in our life and be content with what all we have in our life. Be content with what you have, for he has said, ‘I will never leave you nor forsake you' - Hebrews 13:5. He grants peace to your borders and satisfies you with the finest of wheat - Psalm 147:14.

Let us be satisfied with God's goodness and praise God as all blessings in our life flow through Him. You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, And praise the name of the Lord your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you; And My people shall never be put to shame - Joel 2:26. Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name!. Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. - Psalm 103:1.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We praise You and thank You for all Your blessings and goodness in our life. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Thank God For All The Hard Moments

Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you - 1 Thessalonians 5:18.

God’s grace was sufficient for us in all the hard moments of our life. My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness. Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me - 2 Corinthians 12:9. He strengthened us, helped us and sustained us during our difficult days. Surely God is my help; the Lord is the one who sustains me - Isaiah 54:4.

God was with us and so close to us like no other in all our difficult situations. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you - Isaiah 43:2. All things work together for good as we love God. And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose - Romans 8:28.

God’s will for us is to thank Him in all circumstances and so let us thank God for His goodness and for all things what we are undergoing right now. Speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ - Ephesians 5:19, 20. To Him who led His people through the wilderness, For His mercy endures forever - Psalm 136:16.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for Your grace and strength during our hard moments. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Garment of Praise For The Spirit of Heaviness

To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He might be glorified - Isaiah 61:3.

The garment of praise delivers us from the spirit of heaviness and from all fears. Oh, magnify the Lord with me, And let us exalt His name together. I sought the Lord, and He heard me, And delivered me from all my fears - Psalm 34:3,4. It helps us to rejoice in the Lord in any situation, Though the fig tree may not blossom, Nor fruit be on the vines; Though the labor of the olive may fail, And the fields yield no food; Though the flock may be cut off from the fold, And there be no herd in the stalls - Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation - Habakkuk 3:17,18. The Joy of the Lord is your Strength - Nehemiah 8:10.

Instead of being anxious about anything, let us put on the garment of praise and be joyful. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus - Philippians 4:6,7.  Why, my soul, are you downcast?  Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God - Psalm 42:5.

Let us put on the garment of praise everyday and be delivered from the spirit of heaviness. Seven times a day I praise You, Because of Your righteous judgments - Psalm 119:164. Every day I will bless You, And I will praise Your name forever and ever - Psalm 145:2. My tongue will proclaim your righteousness, your praises all day long - Psalm 35:28. I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth - Psalm 34:1. Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name - Hebrews 13:15.

Jehovah Nissi - The Lord Is My Banner

Moses built an altar and called it The LORD is my Banner - Exodus 17:15.

The Amalekites attacked Israelites in Rephidim and so Moses told Joshua to fight with them. So Joshua did as Moses said to him, and fought with Amalek. And Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill - Exodus 17:8-10. As long as Moses kept his arms raised, the Israelites were winning and whenever his arms are lowered, the Amalekites are winning. And so it was, when Moses held up his hands, that Israel prevailed; and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed - Exodus 17: 11.

Aaron and Hur put a rock under Moses to sit on and stood on either side of him holding up his arms. Aaron and Hur held his hands up - one on one side, one on the other - so that his hands remained steady till sunset. So Joshua overcame the Amalekite army with the sword - Exodus 17:12, 13. The Israelites defeated the Amalekites and so Moses built an altar to the Lord and called it, “The LORD is my Banner” (Exodus 17:15).

Let us thank the Lord our banner, Jehovah Nissi who gives us victory in all our battles.   For the Lord your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory - Deuteronomy 20:4. For by You I can run against a troop, By my God I can leap over a wall - Psalm 18:29. When the enemy comes in like a flood, The Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him - Isaiah 59:19.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are Jehovah Nissi, our banner. We thank You for giving us victory in all our battles. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

    Thankful For God's Word

At midnight I rise to give you thanks for your righteous laws - Psalm 119:62.

God’s Word gave us guidance and instructed us in the way we should go. Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path - Psalm 119:105. All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work - 2 Timothy 3:16-17. Let us thank God for speaking to us through His Word.

God’s Word refreshed our soul and rejoiced our heart. The law of the Lord is perfect, refreshing the soul. The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes - Psalm 19:7,8. How sweet are Your words to my taste, Sweeter than honey to my mouth! - Psalm 119:103. They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the honeycomb - Psalm 19:10.

Let us thank God for His living Word for we live by it everyday. Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God - Matthew 4:4. My lips shall utter praise, For You teach me Your statutes. My tongue shall speak of Your word, For all Your commandments are righteousness - Psalm 119:171,172. Your testimonies are wonderful; therefore, my soul keeps them. Psalm 119:129.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for Your Word that gave us guidance, refreshed our soul and rejoiced our heart. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Ebenezer - Thus Far The Lord Has Helped Us

Then Samuel took a stone and set it up between Mizpah and Shen, and called its name Ebenezer, saying, “Thus far the Lord has helped us” - I Samuel 7:12.

God is our Helper who helps us. The Lord is my helper. I will not fear - Hebrews 13:6. Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand - Isaiah 41:10. Our help comes from the Lord. I will lift up my eyes to the hills- From whence comes my help?  My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth - Psalm 121:1,2.

None can help us like our God. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” So we may boldly say: “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?” - Hebrews 13:5,6. He will never leave us nor forsake us. Give us help from trouble, for the help of man is useless - Psalm 60:11. Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God - Psalm 146:5.

Let us thank God, our Helper. He is Ebenezer who had helped us so far in all our situations. He who had helped us so far will continue to help us. You who fear the LORD, trust in the LORD; He is their help and their shield. - Psalm 115:11. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble - Psalm 46:1. Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth - Psalm 124:8.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are our Helper. We thank You for helping us in all our situations. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
