I Am Making A Way In The Wilderness

See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland - Isaiah 43:19.

Makes a way in the wilderness - Forget the former things & do not dwell in the past

               Before doing a new thing by making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland, God wants us to forget the former things and not to dwell on the past. Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland - Isaiah 43:18,19. He made a way in the sea
and a path through the mighty waters for the Israelites. I am the Lord, your Holy One,
The Creator of Israel, your King.” Thus says the Lord, who makes a way in the sea
And a path through the mighty waters - Isaiah 43:15.

Makes the crooked places straight - Trust in the Lord & submit your ways to Him

                 Before making our crooked places straight, God wants us to trust Him and submit our ways to Him. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight - Proverbs 3:5,6. I will go before you and make the crooked places straight - Isaiah 45:2. 

Makes darkness light before them - Praise God

               Before making darkness light before us, God wants us to praise Him. Let them give glory to the Lord, And declare His praise in the coastlands - Isaiah 42:12. I will bring the blind by a way they did not know; I will lead them in paths they have not known. I will make darkness light before them, And crooked places straight. These things I will do for them - Isaiah 42:16. 

Make you the head and not the tail - Obey & observe the commands of God

                 Before making us head and not the tail, God wants us to obey His commands and observe them. The Lord will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not be beneath, if you heed the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you today, and are careful to observe them - Deuteronomy 28:13.

                                                                               

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. Let us forget the past, trust and submit our ways to You, praise You, obey and observe Your commands. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
