The Name Which Is Above Every Name

Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name - Philippians 2:9.    

Trust the name of the Lord

          We will be victorious when we trust the name of the Lord our God. Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied” - 1 Samuel 17:45. Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will remember the name of the Lord our God. They have bowed down and fallen; But we have risen and stand upright - Psalm 20:7,8. The name of the Lord is a strong tower - Proverbs 18:10. 

Salvation in the name of the Lord

             There is salvation in the name of the Lord our God. Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved - Acts 4:12. For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved - Romans 10:13.

 Blessed be the name of the Lord 

              Let the name of the Lord be blessed forever and ever. Blessed be the name of the Lord - Job 1:21. Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel, who only does wondrous things! And blessed be His glorious name forever! - Psalm 72:18,19. Blessed be the name of God forever and ever, for wisdom and might are His - Daniel 2:20. Let us praise the name of the Lord that is blessed forever. Blessed be the name of the Lord from this time forth and forever - Psalm 113:2.
