The Lord Most High : El Elyon

 But Abram said to the king of Sodom, “I have raised my hand to the Lord, God Most High, the Possessor of heaven and earth “ - Genesis 14:22.

              The Lord alone is the Most High all over the earth. Let them know that you, whose name is the LORD, that you alone are the Most High over all the earth - Psalm 83:18. How awesome is the LORD Most High, the great King over all the earth! - Psalm 47:2. You, O LORD, are the Most High over all the earth; you are exalted far above all gods - Psalm 97:9. That they may know that You, whose name alone is the Lord, are the Most High over all the earth - Psalm 83:18. There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells - Psalm 46:4.

           The Lord Most High performs all things for us. I will cry out to God Most High, To God who performs all things for me - Psalm 57:2. We are protected and secured as the Most High God is our dwelling place. He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty - Psalm 91:1. Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place, No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling - Psalm 91:9,10. 

           Let us praise and thank the Lord Most High. I will praise the Lord according to His righteousness, And will sing praise to the name of the Lord Most High - Psalm 7:17. Sacrifice thank offerings to God, fulfill your vows to the Most High - Psalm 50:14. Then they remembered that God was their rock, And the Most High God their Redeemer - Psalm 78:35.

                                                          

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are El Elyon, the Most High God who performs all things for us. We thank You and praise You. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen. 

God Protects Us

 As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds His people both now and forever more - Psalm 125: 1, 2.

Keep me as the apple of Your eye; Hide me under the shadow of Your wings - Psalm 17:8.

Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place, No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; For He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways - Psalm 91:7-11. 

The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, and delivers them - Psalm 34:7.

He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge. His truth shall be your shield and buckler. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday - Psalm 91:4. 

Your life is hidden with Christ in God - Colossians 3:3.

He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge. His truth shall be your shield and buckler - Psalm 91:4.

For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways - Psalm 91:11. 

No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling - Psalm 91:10. 

I will be a wall of fire all around her - Zechariah 2:5.

We have escaped like a bird out of the fowler’s snare; the snare has been broken, and we have escaped -  Psalm 124:6-7. 

For the Lord will be at your side and will keep your foot from being snared - Proverbs 3:26.

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of Almighty. Psalm 91:1.

Like birds hovering overhead the Lord Almighty will shield Jerusalem; He will shield it and deliver it, He will pass over it and rescue it - Isaiah 31:5.

It is God who arms me with strength and keeps my way secure - Psalm 18:32. 

The Lord is your keeper; The Lord is your shade at your right hand. The sun shall not strike you by day, Nor the moon by night. The Lord shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul. The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth, and even forevermore - Psalm 121:5-8.

You have hedged me behind and before, and laid Your hand upon me - Psalm 139:5.

He encircled him, He instructed him, He kept him as the apple of His eye - Deuteronomy 32:10.. For I says the Lord, will be a wall of fire all around her, and I will be the glory in her midst - Zechariah 2:5.

He found him in a desert land and in the wasteland, a howling wilderness; He encircled him, He instructed him, He kept him as the apple of His eye - Deuteronomy 32:10.

                                              

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are our protector. We thank You for protecting us. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Devote Yourselves To Prayer Being Watchful And Thankful

 Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful - Colossians 4:2.

Devote yourselves to prayer

Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints - Ephesians 6:18. Pray continually - 1 Thessalonians 5:17.

Be watchful in prayer

But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers - 1 Peter 4:7. Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak - Matthew 26:41. Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober - 1 Thessalonians 5:6. Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour  - 1 Peter 5:8.

Be thankful in prayer

In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you - 1 Thessalonians 5:18. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God - Philippians 4:6.

Let God Be Magnified

 Let all those who seek You rejoice and be glad in You; And let those who love Your salvation say continually, “Let God be magnified!” - Psalm 70:4.

           We magnify the Lord as we praise and give Him thanks. I will praise the name of God with a song, And will magnify Him with thanksgiving - Psalm 69:30. I will worship toward Your holy temple, And praise Your name For Your lovingkindness and Your truth; For You have magnified Your word above all Your name - Psalm 138:2.         

        Mary magnified the Lord for doing great things in her life. And Mary said: “My soul magnifies the Lord, And my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior. For He has regarded the lowly state of His maidservant;For behold, henceforth all generations will call me blessed. For He who is mighty has done great things for me, And holy is His name - Luke 1:46-49

            Let us magnify the Lord by our life and exalt His name. Christ will be magnified in my body, whether by life or by death - Philippians 1:20. O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together - Psalm 34:3. Let Your name be magnified forever - 2 Samuel 7:26.

God Shields All Who Take Refuge In Him

 He shields all who take refuge in him - 2 Samuel 22:31.

God will drive out your enemies before us

             God will drive out our enemies before us as He shields all who take refuge in Him. For you have been my refuge, a strong tower against the foe - Psalm 61:3. The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms. He will drive out your enemies before you - Deuteronomy 33:27.  He is our strong refuge. But You are my strong refuge - Psalm 71:7. Be my strong refuge, To which I may resort continually; You have given the commandment to save me - Psalm 71:3.       

We will not fear as God is our refuge

             We will not fear of any circumstances as God shields all who take refuge in Him. God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, Even though the earth be removed, And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;  Though its waters roar and be troubled, Though the mountains shake with its swelling - Psalm 146:1-3.  In you, Lord, I have taken refuge; let me never be put to shame - Psalm 71:1.

Let us thank God for protecting all who take refuge in Him

            Let us thank and praise God for His priceless unfailing love as He protects all who take refuge in Him. For You are my rock and my fortress. How priceless is your unfailing love, O God! People take refuge in the shadow of your wings - Psalm 36:7. But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you - Psalm 5:11. Blessed is the one who takes refuge in him - Psalm 34:8. 

                                                 

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You as You shield all who take refuge in You. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen. 

You Will Never Be Put to Shame

Instead of your shame you shall have double honor, And instead of confusion they shall rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they shall possess double; Everlasting joy shall be theirs - Isaiah 61:7.

God’s people

             We will never be put to shame as we are the people of God. You will have plenty to eat and be satisfied and praise the name of the Lord your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you; Then My people will never be put to shame. You shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the LORD your God and there is none else. And my people shall never again be put to shame - Joel 2:26, 27.

Wait for God

             Those who wait for God will never be put to shame. Those who hopefully wait for Me will not be put to shame - Isaiah 49:23. May those who wait for You not be ashamed through me, O Lord God of hosts - Psalm 69:6

Believe God

          Those who believe God will never be put to shame. He who believes on Him will by no means be put to shame - 1 Peter 2:6. Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame - Isaiah 10:11.

                                                              

Dear Lord, We believe You and wait for You. We will never be put to shame as we are Your people. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen. 

With God All Things are Possible

                    With God all things are possible - Matthew 19:26.

            Sarah laughed when she was told that she will have a son. But God spoke to her that she will have a son this time next year. Is anything too hard for the Lord? At the appointed time I will return to you, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son - Genesis 18:14. God blessed Sarah with a son as He had spoken. For Sarah conceived and bore Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him. And Abraham called the name of his son who was born to him - whom Sarah bore to him - Isaac - Genesis 21:2.

           Mary was troubled when she was told by angel Gabriel that she will conceive and bring forth a son. Then Mary said to the angel, “How can this be, since I do not know a man?” - Luke 1:34. God reminded Mary that nothing will be impossible with Him. Immediately, Mary believed the word of God and submitted herself to His plan. For nothing will be impossible with God. And Mary said, “Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word” - Luke 1:37-38. 

           God is so great that He calls into existence the things that do not exist as all things are possible for Him. In the presence of Him whom he believed - God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did - Romans 4:17. Nothing is too hard for Him. Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me? -  Jeremiah 32:27. Let us believe and wait for God to work in our life as all things are possible for Him. All things are possible for one who believes - Mark 9:23.
