In The Morning I Lay My Requests Before You And Wait Expectantly

In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly - Psalm 5:3.

The first thing David did every morning was to lay his requests before God and wait expectantly  as the Lord hears his voice in the morning. O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You In a dry and thirsty land where there is no water - Psalm 63:1. Those that seek me early shall find me - Proverbs 8:17.

God's mercies are new every morning and we are not consumed by His mercies. Let us sing aloud of His mercy every morning. Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness - Lamentations 3:22-23. But I will sing of Your power; Yes, I will sing aloud of Your mercy in the morning. For You have been my defense and refuge in the day of my trouble - Psalm 59:16.

Let us lift our voice in prayer in the morning to God who hears us, sing of His mercies, lay our requests before Him and wait expectantly. I rise before the dawning of the morning, And cry for help; I hope in Your word - Psalm 119:147. In the morning my spirit longs for you - Isaiah 26:9. O GOD, You are my God; Early will I seek You - Psalm 63:1. Let me hear in the morning of your steadfast love, for in you I trust. Make me know the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul - Psalm 143:8.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us lift our voice in prayer in the morning, sing of Your mercies, lay our requests before You and wait expectantly. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

I Am The Vine You Are The Branches

I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit - John 15:5.

Abide in God to bear much fruit

Jesus is the true vine and we are the branches. I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser - John 15:1. We cannot bear fruit unless we abide in Him as the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in vine. Also, we need to submit ourselves to the Father's pruning work to bear more fruit. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me - John 15:1-4.

Apart from God, we can do nothing

We can bear much fruit as we abide in Him and He abides in us. It’s in him there is life. We cannot produce fruit without life and we cannot do anything apart from him. If a branch is cut off from the vine, the branch dies, withers, and there is no fruit.  I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned - John 15:5-8.

Love and Joy Perfected

We will abide in His love and joy as we keep His commandments. As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love. These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full. This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you - John 15:9-12. Let the word of Christ abide in our heart. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly - Colossians 3:16.

Ask what you desire, and it shall be done

Let us abide in Him and His Words abide in us so that we bear much fruit and when we ask what we desire, it will be done for us. If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples - John 15:8.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are the Vine and we are the branches. Let us abide in You and bear much fruit. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Walk In The Spirit

Walk in the Spirit - Galatians 5:16.

Do the commands of God

As we walk in the Spirit, we will walk in the commands of God and do them. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them - Ezekiel 36:26, 27.

Fruit of the Spirit

As we walk in the Spirit, we will bear the fruit of the Spirit. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit - Galatians 5:22-25.

Walk in the Spirit

Let us walk in the Spirit so that we will not fulfill the lust of the flesh but do the commands of God and bear fruits. Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law - Galatians 5:16-18. For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God - Romans 8:14. be filled with the Spirit - Ephesians 5:18.

PRAYER: Let us walk in the Spirit. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

The God of Heaven Will Give Us Success

The God of heaven will give us success - Nehemiah 2:20.

Daniel was successful as he meditated, prayed and gave more importance to God than the king or anything else. He purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the King’s delicacies, nor with the wine which he drank - Daniel 1:8. He knelt down on his knees three times that day, and prayed and gave thanks before God - Daniel 6:10. It pleased Darius to appoint 120 satraps to rule throughout the kingdom, with three administrators over them, one of whom was Daniel - Daniel 6:1,2. Then this Daniel distinguished himself above the governors and satraps, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king gave thought to setting him over the whole realm - Daniel 6:3. So Daniel was successful during the time Darius was king and when Cyrus the Persian was king - Daniel 6:28.

God will give us success as we meditate His Word day and night and do according to it. This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success - Joshua 1:8. Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper - Psalm 1:1-3.

Let us meditate the Word of God day and night, do according to it and thank God who gives us success. I will meditate on Your precepts and consider Your ways - Psalm 119:15. I will bless the LORD at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth - Psalm 34:1. My mouth is filled with your praise, declaring your splendor all day long - Psalm 71:8. My protection and success come from God alone. He is my refuge, a Rock where no enemy can reach me - Psalm 62:7. Save us, we pray, O Lord! O Lord, we pray, give us success! - Psalm 118:25. Thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ - 1 Corinthians 15:57.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are the God of heaven. Let us meditate Your Word day and night and do according to itWe thank You for giving us success in all we do. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
