With All Your Heart

Return to me with all your heart - Joel 2:12.

God wants us to return to Him with all our heart. The heart loves what it treasures. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also - Matthew 6:21. With all our heart, let us seek, love, trust, obey, serve and thank God.

Seek God

God promises that when we seek Him with all our heart, we will find Him. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart - Jeremiah 29:13.

Love God

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength - Deuteronomy 6:5.

Trust God

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths - Proverbs 3:5-6.

Obey God

Return to the Lord your God, you and your children, and obey his voice in all that I command you today, with all your heart and with all your soul - Deuteronomy 30:2.

Serve God

Only fear the Lord, and serve Him in truth with all your heart - 1 Samuel 12:24. Serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul - Deuteronomy 11:13.

Thank God

I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart - Psalm 9:1.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us seek, love, trust, obey, serve and thank You with all our heart. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

God of Revival

Will You not revive us again, That Your people may rejoice in You? Show us your unfailing love, O Lord, and grant us your salvation - Psalm 85: 6,7.

Our Lord is the God of revival. The key to revival is prayer. If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land - 2 Chronicles 7:14. There will be a great revival when we return to God. God said in Malachi 3:7, "Return to Me and I will return to you."

The word of God brings revival. The law of the Lord is perfect, refreshing the soul - Psalm 19:7. Let those who live in darkness be awakened and receive the light of God. Therefore, He says: “Awake, you who sleep, arise from the dead, And Christ will give you light” - Ephesians 5:14. May the word of God run swiftly in all nations and be glorified. Our gospel came to you not simply with words but also with power, with the Holy Spirit and deep conviction - 1 Thessalonians 1:5.

When God pours out His Spirit upon all flesh, every heart will be rekindled by His power. And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams - Acts 2:17. Let there be a great revival among all nations to tremble at the presence of God. As fire burns brushwood, As fire causes water to boil - To make Your name known to Your adversaries, That the nations may tremble at Your presence - Isaiah 64:2.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are the God of revival. Send us Your revival. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Love Covers A Multitude of Sins

Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins - 1 Peter 4:8.

Love covers over a multitude of sins and so let us love each other deeply. Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love - 1 John 4:7,8. A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another - John 13:34. Let us love one another and honor others above ourselves. Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves - Romans 12:10.

Love does not keep record of sins of others but instead forgets and forgives. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs - 1 Corinthians 13:4, 5. We cannot hate as well as love someone at the same time. Hatred stirs up strife, But love covers all sins - Proverbs 5:20. Love covers all sins.

When we turn a sinner from their sins, we save a soul from death as well as cover a multitude of sins.  Let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins - James 5:20. We will be the disciples of God when we love each other. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another - John 13:35. Let us love each other deeply.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to love each other deeply. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

True Worshipers

But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him - John 4:23.

God is seeking for true worshipers. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth - John 4:24. He is not pleased in us when we just honor Him with our lips but our hearts are far from Him. These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me - Mathew 15:8.

Let us worship God with reverence as He is a consuming fire. Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our “God is a consuming fire” - Hebrews 12:28,29. Worship is about obedience. Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God-this is your true and proper worship -Romans 12:1.

God hears the one who is His worshiper and does His will. If anyone is a worshiper of God and does His will, He hears him - John 9:31. Oh come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before the Lord our Maker. For He is our God, And we are the people of His pasture, And the sheep of His hand. Today, if you will hear His voice - Psalm 95:6,7. Let us be the true worshipers of God.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to worship You in spirit and truth as true worshipers. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

No One Can Understand The Work of God

As you do not know the path of the wind, or how the body is formed in a mother’s womb, so you cannot understand the work of God, the Maker of all things - Ecclesiastes 11:5.

We do not know the path of the wind or how the body is formed in a mother’s womb. Likewise, we cannot understand the work of God also. Can you search out the deep things of God? Can you find out the limits of the Almighty? - Job 11:7. Only God knows the end from the beginning. I make known the end from the beginning - Isaiah 46:10.

The work of God is marvelous in our life. Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God Almighty! Just and true are Your ways, O King of the saints! - Revelation 15:3. His thoughts and ways are always higher than our thoughts and ways. Remember His marvelous works which He has done, His wonders, and the judgments of His mouth - Psalm 105:5. Many, O Lord my God, are Your wonderful works which You have done - Psalm 40:5.

God’s works are perfect. His works are perfect, and all his ways are just - Deuteronomy 32:4. Though we cannot understand the work of God in our lives, let us trust Him as He works everything for good. And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose - Romans 8:28. Let us thank God for His work in our life that is marvelous. This was the Lord’s doing; It is marvelous in our eyes - Psalm 118:23.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for all Your marvelous and perfect works in our life that are beyond our understanding. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

There Is Another In The Fire

When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you - Isaiah 43:2.

Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego told boldly that they will not worship the golden image which King Nebuchadnezzar had set up even if God does not deliver them from the burning fiery furnace. Our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king. But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up - Daniel 3:17,18.

As Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego refused to worship the golden image of king, they were cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace which was heated seven times more than it was usually heated. The furnace was exceedingly hot that it killed the strong men who threw Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in the furnace. King Nebuchadnezzar was astonished when he looked into the furnace as he saw four men walking around. “Look!” he answered, “I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God” - Daniel 3:25.

God delivered Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego from fire with no harm as they stood up courageously for Him with faith. He was along with them as another in the fire. They saw these men on whose bodies the fire had no power; the hair of their head was not singed nor were their garments affected, and the smell of fire was not on them - Daniel 3:27. God is always with us and He will never leave us alone. He will walk with us in all our fiery trials and will deliver us. Nothing can harm us as we stand for Him.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for protecting us and delivering us from all harm. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Lily of The Valley

I am the rose of Sharon, And the lily of the valleys - Song of Solomon 2:1.

Our Christ is the lily of the valley. Like how a lily is sweet and fragrant flower, Christ offered Himself as a sweet-smelling aroma for us. And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma - Ephesians 5:2. A lily is pure and it exceeds all flowers in whiteness. Likewise our God is pure and holy. For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him - 2 Corinthians 5:21.

Like how the lily flower is beautiful, Jesus is so beautiful and there is no flaw in Him. Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these - Mathew 6:28,29. You are all fair, my love, And there is no spot in you - Song of Solomon 4:7. He is the fairest of ten thousand, the bright and morning star.

Our God is the perfection of beauty and His glory is infinite. Though lily is the tallest flower, it bows down its head. Christ is higher than kings, princes, heavens and angels yet He is humble and lowly in heart. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart - Mathew 11:29. May we also bloom like a lily among the thorns. Like a lily among thorns, So is my love among the daughters - Song of Solomon 2:2.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are the lily of the valley. May we also bloom like a lily among thorns. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Walk Just As He Walked

He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked – 1 John 2:6.

Walk in love

And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma - Ephesians 5:2.

Walk as children of His light

For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light -Ephesians 5:8.

Walk in obedience

The Lord will establish you as his holy people, as he promised you on oath, if you keep the commands of the Lord your God and walk in obedience to him - Deuteronomy 28:9.

Walk in good works

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them - Ephesians 2:10.

Walk in the light

But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin - 1 John 1:7.

Walk in the Spirit

Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh - Galatians 5:16.

Walk by faith

For we walk by faith, not by sight - 2 Corinthians 5:7.

Walk worthy of the calling

Walk worthy of the calling with which you were called - Ephesians 4:1.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to walk successfully in our life just as You walked. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Stop Trusting In Man

Stop trusting in man, whose breath is in his nostrils; for of what account is he? - Isaiah 2:22.

God wants us to place all our trust on Him at all situations instead of man. It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man - Psalm 118:8. It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in man. It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in princes - Psalm 118:8-9. Man often fails to keep promises but God’s promises are everlasting and never fails. God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill? - Numbers 23:19.

Man is mortal whereas our God is eternal and all powerful. Do not trust in princes, in mortal man, in whom there is no salvation - Psalm 146:3. God promises to provide protection and strength to all those who trust Him. Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge - Psalm 62:8. Let us place all our hope and trust in God who is the same yesterday, today and forever. In God, whose word I praise - in God I trust and am not afraid. What can mere mortals do to me? - Psalm 56:4.

As we place all our trust on God, we will be like a tree planted by the waters yielding fruits at all times. Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit - Jeremiah 17:7,8.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to place all our trust on You instead of man. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

God Who Remembered The Israelites

The Lord remembers us and will bless us - Psalm 115:12.

God remembered Israelites and delivered them from their slavery in Egypt. The Israelites groaned in their slavery and cried out, and their cry for help because of their slavery went up to God. God heard their groaning and he remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac and with Jacob - Exodus 2:23,24. He heard the cry of them.  And now the cry of the Israelites has reached me, and I have seen the way the Egyptians are oppressing them - Exodus 3:9.

When the Israelites were in bondage, they would have thought that there was no one to help them. But God remembered them and sent Moses at the right time to rescue them out of Egypt. Come now, therefore, and I will send you to Pharaoh that you may bring My people, the children of Israel, out of Egypt - Exodus 3:10. He is the faithful God who keeps covenant. Therefore know that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments - Deuteronomy 7:9.

God who remembered Israelites will remember us also. He will never forget us. Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you. See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me - Isaiah 49:15,16. He loves us so much that He had engraved us in the palm of His hands. Remember me, O Lord, with the favor You have toward Your people. Oh, visit me with Your salvation - Psalm 106:4. He will remember us and bless us.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for remembering us and blessing us. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Be Watchful In Prayer

But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers - 1 Peter 4:7.

It is important for us to be watchful in prayer as the devil prowls like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour - 1 Peter 5:8. We will never fall into any temptation when we watch and pray. Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak - Matthew 26:41.

Daniel was watchful in prayer three times a day even though all his situations were against him. Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went home. And in his upper room, with his windows open toward Jerusalem, he knelt down on his knees three times that day, and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as was his custom since early days - Daniel 6:10.

Let us watch and pray so that we can stand strong in the midst of all tribulations. Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints - Ephesians 6:18. Be watchful in prayer as the Lord’s coming is near. Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming - Matthew 24:42. Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful - Colossians 4:2.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to be watchful in prayer. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Whom Shall I fear?

The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? - Psalm 27:1.

The Lord is our light and salvation. He is our stronghold and He is always on our side. The Lord is on my side; I will not fear - Psalm 118:6. He is the one who goes before us and He will never leave us nor forsake us. And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed. If God is for us, who can be against us? - Romans 8:31. He is the one who goes before us to fight against our enemies and give us victory. For the Lord your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory - Deuteronomy 20:4.

There is no need to fear as God is our refuge and strength. God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear, even though the earth be removed, And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though its waters roar and be troubled, Though the mountains shake with its swelling - Psalm 46:1-3. Let us lean on the promises of God. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me - Psalm 23:4.

As the Lord is always with us, let us not fear about anything. Though an army may encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; Though war may rise against me, In this I will be confident - Psalm 27:3. The angel of the Lord encamps around us and delivers us. The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, And delivers them - Psalm 34:7. He stands beside us like a great warrior and protects us. The Lord stands beside me like a great warrior - Jeremiah 20:11.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are our light and salvation. We thank You for being with us always. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

God Hears Us

But God has surely listened and has heard my prayer.- Psalm 66:19.

God hears our prayer when we humble ourselves and seek Him. If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land - 2 Chronicles 7:14. He does not forget the cry of the humble - Psalm 9:12.

God hears our prayer when we are righteous. He hears the prayer of righteous people and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is far from the wicked, But He hears the prayer of the righteous - Proverbs 15:29. The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, And delivers them out of all their troubles - Psalm 34:17. The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry - Psalm 34:15.

God will hear us when we ask anything according to His will. And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him. 1 John 5:14-15.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for hearing our prayers and answering us. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Enter His Gates With Thanksgiving And His Courts With Praise

Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations - Psalm 100:4,5.

Our God is good. His love endures forever and His faithfulness continues through all generations. Let us enter His gates with thanksgiving and praises for His goodness, love and faithfulness in our life. My soul longs, yes, even faints For the courts of the Lord; My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God - Psalm 84:2. Giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ - Ephesians 5:20.

1. The Lord is good

Let us give thanks to God for He is good in our life. The Lord is good to all; He has compassion on all He has made - Psalm 145:9. Let us taste and see that the Lord is good every day. Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever - Psalm 118:29.

2. His love endures forever

God’s great love towards us never ends. For great is His love toward us - Psalm 117:2. But you, Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness - Psalm 86:15. Let us thank God for His unconditional love that endures forever. Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for His steadfast love endures forever - Psalm 136:1.

3. His faithfulness continues through all generations

God’s faithfulness continues through all generations. I will praise you with the harp for your faithfulness, my God - Psalm 71:22. God is so faithful in providing us, protecting us and helping us. But the Lord is faithful; He will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one - 2 Thessalonians 3:3.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for Your goodness, love and faithfulness in our life. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

God Who Turns Darkness Into Light

You, Lord, are my lamp; the Lord turns my darkness into light - 2 Samuel 22:29.

David sang to the Lord that He is the lamp and the one who turned his darkness into light when the Lord delivered him from the hand of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul. Jesus is the light of the world. I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life - John 8:12. When we follow Christ, we will never walk in darkness and will have the light of life. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it - John 1:5. You, Lord, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light - Psalm 18:28.

The Lord is our light and salvation. He will light up all the dark areas of our life. He is the true light who gives light to everyone. The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world - John 1:9. For with You is the fountain of life; In Your light we see light - Psalm 36:9. He is our everlasting light. Your sun shall no longer go down, Nor shall your moon withdraw itself; For the Lord will be your everlasting light, And the days of your mourning shall be ended - Isaiah 60-20.

Let God’s light shine out of darkness in all nations. For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ - 2 Corinthians 4:6. As the children of light, let us allow our light to shine brightly in the likeness of God and light up those around us. The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; Those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, Upon them a light has shined - Isaiah 9:2.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are our light. We thank You for turning all our darkness into light. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Love Your Enemies

Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you - Luke 6:27,28.

God wants us to love our enemies. If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect - Matthew 5:46 - 48. To be perfect like our heavenly father who is perfect, we need to love our enemies. Repay no one evil for evil - Romans 12:17. Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good - Romans 12:21.

God loved us so much that He sent His one and only son for us. This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him - 1 John 4:9. While we were enemies to God by being sinners, He died for us and showed His love. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us - Romans 5:8. For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life - Romans 5:10. Let us love our enemies like how God loved us. Therefore be imitators of God as dear children - Ephesians 5:1.

God will reward us when we love our enemies and do good to them. If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat; if he is thirsty, give him water to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head, and the Lord will reward you - Proverbs 25:21,22. Our rewards will be great and we will be the children of the Most High God as we love our enemies. But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked - Luke 6:35.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to love our enemies like how You loved us. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

We Will Never Be Shaken

Truly, He is my rock and my salvation; He is my fortress; I will never be shaken - Psalm 62:2.

Trust the Lord

We will never be shaken, when we trust the Lord. Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever - Psalm 125:1. He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be moved - Psalm 62:6. As we trust the God who is our rock and refuge, we will not be shaken. The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold - Psalm 18:2. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord God is an everlasting rock - Isaiah 26:4.

 Love the Word of God

We will never be shaken when we love God’s word. Nothing can make us stumble and great peace will be ours as we love the word of God. Great peace have those who love your law, and nothing can make them stumble - Psalm 119:165. As for God, his way is perfect: The Lord’s word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him - Psalm 18:30. No matter what situation comes, we will not be shaken as we set the Lord always before us. I have set the Lord always before me; Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved - Psalm 16:8.

Be righteous

God will never let righteous to be shaken. Cast your burden on the Lord, And He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved - Psalm 55:22.  He will not allow your foot to be moved - Psalm 121:3. He will never allow us to be shaken even though we are hard-pressed on every side. We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed - 2 Corinthians 4:8,9. When I felt secure, I said, “I will never be shaken” - Psalm 30:6.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We will never be shaken as You are our rock. Help us to trust You, love Your word and be righteous always. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

In Christ Alone

O Lord of hosts, God of Israel, the One who dwells between the cherubim, You are God, You alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth. You have made heaven and earth - Isaiah 37:16.

We can find hope in Christ alone. And now, Lord, what do I wait for? My hope is in You - Psalm 39:7. He is the hope of glory in us. To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory - Colossians 1:27. May your unfailing love be with us, LORD, even as we put our hope in you - Psalm 33:22. Only God’s plans will give us a hope and future. For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future - Jeremiah 29:11.

We can find rest in Christ alone. My soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from him - Psalm 62:1. Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest - Mathew 11:28. He is our light and strength. The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? - Psalm 27:1. He is the cornerstone and our only rock. He alone is my rock and my salvation; He is my fortress, I will never be shaken - Psalm 62:2. For who is God besides the Lord?  And who is the Rock except our God? - Psalm 18:31.

We can find true love in Christ alone. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us - Romans 5:8. He bought us by His precious blood out of love. He alone is the God who is great and who does wondrous things for us.  For You are great, and do wondrous things; You alone are God - Psalm 86:10. He is our all in all. Now when all things are made subject to Him, then the Son Himself will also be subject to Him who put all things under Him, that God may be all in all - 1 Corinthians 15:28.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You as we find hope, rest and true love in You alone. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

The Lord Is Our Shade

The Lord is your shade at your right hand - Psalm 121:5.

The Lord is our shade at our right hand. Like how a shade gives protection from burning heat, He protects us from all evil. For You have been a strength to the poor, A strength to the needy in his distress, A refuge from the storm, A shade from the heat - Isaiah 25:4. His presence is always with us and He comes as a shade with us wherever we go. I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go - Genesis 28:15. The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore - Psalm 121:8.

The Lord is our keeper. No evil can come near us as the Lord is our shade. The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all evil; he will keep your life - Psalm 121:6,7. He protects us day and night. He is faithful to guard us from every kind of evil. But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one - 2 Thessalonians 3:3. He keeps us safe at all times.

No one can guard us and give us protection so closely as our loving God who is our shade. Even to your old age, I am He, And even to gray hairs I will carry you! I have made, and I will bear; Even I will carry, and will deliver you - Isaiah 46:4. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age - Matthew 28:20.4. He is always our shade at our right hand. He keeps our way very secure. It is God who arms me with strength and keeps my way secure - Psalm 18:32.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for being our shade at our right hand. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

God's Time of Preparation

No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined the things that God has prepared for those who love Him - 1 Corinthians 2:9.

God has a unique plan for each of us and He will do everything beautiful in our life according to His plan. Sometimes, we may not understand the ways of God in our life. But let us trust God’s higher ways and His preparation for our life as His timing will be always perfect. The only thing we need to do is to be patient when God is in the process of preparation. He has made everything beautiful in its time - Ecclesiastes 3:11.

God prepared a fish for Jonah when he was thrown into sea even though he ran away from the will of God. Now the Lord had prepared a great fish to swallow Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights - Jonah 1:17. He will prepare a table before us in the presence of our enemies. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over - Psalm 23:5. God says that no eye has seen, no ear has heard and no mind has imagined which He had prepared for those who love Him.

God will exalt us in due time and so let us be patient during the time of His preparation. Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time - 1 Peter 5:6. He will be with us always and fight all our battles. Let us thank God for the wonderful things He had done in our life which He had planned and prepared for us long ago. Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done wonderful things, things planned long ago - Isaiah 25:1.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for all You have prepared for us. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

I Will Sing of The Mercies of The Lord Forever

I will sing of the mercies of the Lord forever; With my mouth will I make known Your          faithfulness to all generations - Psalm 89:1.

Our God is merciful. His mercies are new every morning and great is His faithfulness. His mercies never fail in our life. For the mountains shall depart And the hills be removed, But My kindness shall not depart from you, Nor shall My covenant of peace be removed, Says the Lord, who has mercy on you - Isaiah 54:10. Let us make known His faithfulness to all generations with our mouth. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations - Psalm 100:5.

Every morning, let us sing the mercies and power of God as He protects us, provides us and blesses us faithfully. But I will sing of Your power; Yes, I will sing aloud of Your mercy in the morning. For You have been my defense and refuge in the day of my trouble - Psalm 59:16. We will be a great blessing to others when we share God’s faithfulness and His wonderful deeds with them. Sing to Him, sing psalms to Him; Talk of all His wondrous works - Psalm 105:2.

God is faithful to keep His covenant and mercy for a thousand generations when we love Him and keep His commandments. Therefore know that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments - Deuteronomy 7:9.  His goodness and mercy will follow us all the days of our life. But My faithfulness and My mercy shall be with him, And in My name his horn shall be exalted - Psalm 89:24.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for Your mercies that are new every morning. Great is Your faithfulness in our life. Help us to make known Your faithfulness to all generations. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Seven Things That God Hates

These six things the Lord hates, Yes, seven are an abomination to Him: A proud look, A lying tongue, Hands that shed innocent blood, A heart that devises wicked plans, Feet that are swift in running to evil, A false witness who speaks lies, And one who sows discord among brethren - Proverbs 6:16-19.

Seven Things That God Hates

1. A proud look

God wants us to look on others with humility. Everyone proud in heart is an abomination to the Lord - Proverbs 16:5. The one who has a haughty look and a proud heart, Him I will not endure - Psalm 101:5.

2. A lying tongue

God hates a lying tongue. Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, But those who deal truthfully are His delight - Proverbs 12:22. Let us always speak the truth.

3. Hands that shed innocent blood

We should never hate anyone. Anyone who hates a brother or sister is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life residing in him - 1 John 3:15.

4. A heart that devises wicked plans

God desires our heart to be pure. The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; Who can know it? - Jeremiah 17:9. Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life - Proverbs 4:23.

5. Feet that are swift in running to evil

Resist evil and do good to all. You who love the Lord, hate evil - Psalm 97:10. Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh - Galatians 5:16.

6. A false witness who speaks lies

God hates false testimonies. Whoever secretly slanders his neighbor, Him I will destroy - Psalm 101:5.

7. One who sows discord among brethren

God wants us to promote unity instead of divisions. Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them - Romans 16:7. How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity - Psalm 133:1.

Let us offer our life to God as a pleasing sacrifice.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Keep us from falling into these sins which You hate. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
