My Presence Will Go With You

                 My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest - Exodus 33:14.

                   Moses had a very close relationship with God and so God spoke to him face to face as a man speaks to his friend. So the Lord spoke to Moses face to face, as a man speaks to his friend - Exodus 33:11. He found grace in the sight of God when he pleaded God's presence to come with him. God promised Moses that His presence will go with the people of Israelites and He will give them rest.

              God’s presence led the people of Israelites in the wilderness. And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of cloud to lead the way, and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so as to go by day and night - Exodus 13:21. God delivered Israelites from all their enemies and gave them rest as He promised. The Lord gave them rest all around, according to all that He had sworn to their fathers. And not a man of all their enemies stood against them; the Lord delivered all their enemies into their hand - Joshua 21:44.             

                 God’s presence will come with us to protect us, provide us, guide us, sustain us and help us. Nothing can harm us as the Lord’s presence is in our midst. His presence will be with us wherever we go and He will never leave us nor forsake us. Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you - Genesis 28:15. Let us find joy and rest in the presence of God. In your presence there is fullness of joy - Psalm 16:11. Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest - Matthew 11:28.
