The Lord remembers us and will bless us - Psalm 115:12.
God remembered Israelites and delivered them
from their slavery in Egypt. The Israelites groaned in their slavery and cried
out, and their cry for help because of their slavery went up to God. God heard
their groaning and he remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac and with
Jacob - Exodus 2:23,24. He heard the cry of them. And now the cry of the Israelites has reached
me, and I have seen the way the Egyptians are oppressing them - Exodus 3:9.
When the Israelites were in bondage, they
would have thought that there was no one to help them. But God remembered them and
sent Moses at the right time to rescue them out of Egypt. Come now, therefore,
and I will send you to Pharaoh that you may bring My people, the children of
Israel, out of Egypt - Exodus 3:10. He is the faithful God who keeps covenant. Therefore
know that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and
mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His
commandments - Deuteronomy 7:9.
God who remembered Israelites will remember us
also. He will never forget us. Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and
have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will
not forget you. See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls
are continually before Me - Isaiah 49:15,16. He loves us so much that He had
engraved us in the palm of His hands. Remember me, O Lord, with the favor You
have toward Your people. Oh, visit me with Your salvation - Psalm 106:4. He
will remember us and bless us.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for
remembering us and blessing us. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
