Light Into The World

I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness - John 12:46. 

Light into the world                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     Jesus came as a light into the world to deliver us out of the darkness and give us light. The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world - John 1:9. God is light, and in him is no darkness at all - 1 John 1.5. I am the light of the world - John 8:12. The Lord will be your everlasting light - Isaiah 60:20. The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; Those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, Upon them a light has shined - Isaiah 9:2. 

Delivered out of the darkness 

                As Jesus came into the world as light, we were delivered out of the darkness and brought into His marvelous light. For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light - Ephesians 5:8. He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love - Colossians 1;13. But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light - 1 Peter 2:9. We will never abide in darkness as we believe Jesus who came as a light into the world.

Be the light & shine brightly

                Let us follow God who is the light and be the light shining brightly before all men. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life - John 8:12. You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven - Matthew 5:14-16. 

                                                                         

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for coming as a light into the world to deliver us from darkness and give us light. Let our light shine brightly before all men. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
