God Showed His Love Among Us

This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him - 1 John 4:9.       

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life - John 3:16.

In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another - 1 John 4:9–11. 

God demonstrates His own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us - Romans 5:8.

He gave His one and only son out of His love for us. By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us - 1 John 3:16.

 I have loved you with an everlasting love - Jeremiah 31:3. 

We love Him because He first loved us - 1 John 4:19.

How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! - 1 John 3:1.

But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions - it is by grace you have been saved - Ephesians 2:4,5.

God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us - Romans 5:5.

The faithful love of the LORD never ends! His mercies never cease - Lamentations 3:22.

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.  He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another - 1 John 4:7-11. 

                                                                   

PRAYER: Dear Lord,  Let us show our love to others like how You showed us Your love among us by sending Your one and only Son into the world. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
