Paul's Prayers

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people - Ephesians 6:18.

The apostle Paul prayed regularly for all the people he served. When he was praying for them, he first thought of being thankful for them. He was thankful for them and for all the experiences that he shared with them. He also prayed for them to be saved.

Prayer for people in Rome

For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of His Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers, making request if, by some means, now at last I may find a way in the will of God to come to you - Romans 1:9,10.

Prayer for people in Israel

Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is that they may be saved. For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge. For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes - Romans 10:1-4.

Prayer for people in Corinth

I thank my God always concerning you for the grace of God which was given to you by Christ Jesus -1 Corinthians 1:4.

Prayer for people in Ephesus

I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power for us who believe - Ephesians 1:16-19.

Prayer for people in Philippi

I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus - Philippians 1:3-6. And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ - to the glory and praise of God - Philippians 1:9-11.

Prayer for people in Colossae

We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you, because we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love you have for all God’s people - the faith and love that spring from the hope stored up for you in heaven and about which you have already heard in the true message of the gospel that has come to you - Colossians 1:3-6.

Prayer for people in Thessalonica

We always thank God for all of you and continually mention you in our prayers. 3 We remember before our God and Father your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ - 1 Thessalonians 1:2, 3.

Night and day we pray most earnestly that we may see you again and supply what is lacking in your faith - 1 Thessalonians 3:10.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us pray for others and pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
