The Lord of Every Victory

But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ - 1 Corinthians 15:57.

Our God is victorious. He fights for us and always wins. He had never lost a battle. He is the Lord every victory. Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, The power and the glory, The victory and the majesty; For all that is in heaven and in earth is Yours; Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, And You are exalted as head over all - 1 Chronicles 29:11.

Brought out of Egypt

We were slaves of Pharaoh in Egypt, and the Lord brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand; and the Lord showed signs and wonders before our eyes, great and severe, against Egypt, Pharaoh, and all his household - Deuteronomy 6:21,22.

Red Sea

Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the Lord caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea into dry land, and the waters were divided. So the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea on the dry ground, and the waters were a wall to them on their right hand and on their left - Exodus 14:21, 22.

Jordan

The waters which came down from upstream stood still, and rose in a heap very far away at Adam, the city that is beside Zaretan. Then the priests who bore the ark of the covenant of the Lord stood firm on dry ground in the midst of the Jordan; and all Israel crossed over on dry ground, until all the people had crossed completely over the Jordan - Joshua 3:14-17.

Jericho

And the Lord said to Joshua: “See! I have given Jericho into your hand, its king, and the mighty men of valor” - Joshua 6:2. Then the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city - Joshua 6:20.

Gideon - Midianites

God gave the army of Israel with 300 men victory over the army of Midian with 135,000 men. Thus Midian was subdued before the children of Israel, so that they lifted their heads no more - Judges 8:28.

For the LORD your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory - Deuteronomy 20:4.

With God we will gain the victory, and he will trample down our enemies - Psalm 108:13.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are the Lord of every victory. We thank You for fighting for us and giving us victory in all our battles. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Hannah's Prayer

For this child I prayed; and the LORD hath given me my petition which I asked of him - 1 Samuel 1:27.

Hannah prayed to God

Hannah poured out her heart to God and prayed that if God would give her a child, she would give back to Him. But have poured out my soul before the Lord - 1 Samuel 1:15. Like Hannah, let us pour out our heart to God and bring all our needs to Him. Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you - 1 Peter 5:7. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us - Ephesians 3:20.

God's answer to Hannah's prayer

God answered the prayer of Hannah and blessed her with Samuel who became the great prophet of Israel. For this child I prayed, and the Lord has granted me my petition which I asked of Him - 1 Samuel 1: 27. He also blessed her with five more children and Hannah fulfilled her vow by bringing Samuel to serve the Lord. And the Lord visited Hannah, so that she conceived and bore three sons and two daughters. Meanwhile the child Samuel grew before the Lord - 1 Samuel 2:21.

Hannah thanked and praised God

Hannah thanked and praised God for answering her prayer. And Hannah prayed and said: “My heart rejoices in the Lord; My horn is exalted in the Lord. I smile at my enemies, Because I rejoice in Your salvation” - 1 Samuel 2:1. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus - Philippians 4:6,7.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We praise You and thank You for answering our prayer. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Be Thankful To God For What You Have

In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you - 1 Thessalonians 5:18.

Jesus took five loaves of bread and two fish and gave thanks to God. Jesus then took the loaves, gave thanks, and distributed to those who were seated as much as they wanted - John 6:11. More than five thousand men were fed and there were 12 baskets of leftover. They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over. The number of those who ate was about five thousand men, besides women and children -Matthew 14:20,21.

We need to be thankful to God for what we have as He will never leave us nor forsake us. Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you” - Hebrews 13:5. And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus - Philippians 4:19.

Let us be thankful to God for what we have. Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content - Philippians 4:11. Always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ - Ephesians 5:20. I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart. I will recount all of your wonderful deeds - Psalm 9:1.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You with a grateful heart for what all we have in our life. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

God Gives Strength To The Weary

He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak - Isaiah 40:29.

David found strength in the Lord when he was greatly distressed. David was greatly distressed because the men were talking of stoning him; each one was bitter in spirit because of his sons and daughters. But David found strength in the Lord his God - 1 Samuel 30:6. Seek the LORD and His strength; seek His face evermore! - 1 Chronicles 16:11.

God will strengthen us as we wait upon Him. Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord! - Psalm 27:14. But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint - Isaiah 40:31.

God strengthens all those hearts who are fully committed to Him. For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him - 2 chronicles 16:9. Let us thank God who strengthened us to do all things. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me - Philippians 4:13.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for strengthening us to do all things as we wait upon You. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

The Lord Has Done Great Things For Us And We Are Glad

The Lord has done great things for us, And we are glad - Psalm 126:3.

There is no one like our God who had done great things in our life. You who have done great things; O God, who is like You? - Psalm 71:19. He had done great things for us without number and beyond our understanding. He does great things beyond our understanding - Job 37:5. Who does great things, and unsearchable, marvelous things without number - Job 5:9. He does great things past finding out, yes, wonders without number - Job 9:10.

Mary praised God  that He who is mighty has done great things for her. For He who is mighty has done great things for me, And holy is His name - Luke 1:49. The works of the Lord are great - Psalm 111:2. Like Mary, we need to consider what great things he has done for us and praise God. Consider what great things he has done for you -  1 Samuel 12:24.

Let us thank God who had done great things in our life and made us glad. Surely the Lord has done great things! - Joel 2:21. He did good, gave us rain from heaven and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness - Acts 14:17. You have put gladness in my heart, More than in the season that their grain and wine increased - Psalm 4:7.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for doing great things in our life beyond our understanding and making us glad. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
