Hannah's Prayer

  For this child I prayed; and the LORD hath given me my petition which I asked of him - 1 Samuel 1:27.

Hannah prayed to God

                   Hannah poured out her heart to God and prayed that if God would give her a child, she would give back to Him. But have poured out my soul before the Lord - 1 Samuel 1:15. Like Hannah, let us pour out our heart to God and bring all our needs to Him. Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you - 1 Peter 5:7. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us - Ephesians 3:20.  

God's answer to Hannah's prayer

                   God answered the prayer of Hannah and blessed her with Samuel who became the great prophet of Israel. For this child I prayed, and the Lord has granted me my petition which I asked of Him - 1 Samuel 1: 27. He also blessed her with five more children and Hannah fulfilled her vow by bringing Samuel to serve the Lord. And the Lord visited Hannah, so that she conceived and bore three sons and two daughters. Meanwhile the child Samuel grew before the Lord - 1 Samuel 2:21.         

Hannah thanked and praised God

                   Hannah thanked and praised God for answering her prayer. And Hannah prayed and said: “My heart rejoices in the Lord; My horn is exalted in the Lord. I smile at my enemies, Because I rejoice in Your salvation” - 1 Samuel 2:1. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus - Philippians 4:6,7.
