Thank You Lord For Your Promises That Sustained Us

Sustain me, my God, according to your promise, and I will live - Psalm 119:116.

God’s promises sustain us, strengthen us, drive out our fear and despair, and help us to overcome every difficult situation. For they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh - Proverbs 4:22. My soul is weary with sorrow; strengthen me according to your word - Psalm 119:28. He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions - Psalm 107:20.  The law of the Lord is perfect, refreshing the soul - Psalm 19:7a. The word of God will never fail - Luke 1:37.

Jesus said, “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives.  Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid - John 14:27.

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand - Isaiah 41:10.

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For my yoke is easy and my burden is light - Matthew 11:28-30.

The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold - Psalm 18:2.

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble - Psalm 46:1.

He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds - Psalm 147:3.

He gives power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increases strength - Isaiah 40:29.

The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds’ feet, and he will make me to walk on my high places - Habakkuk 3:19.

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “he is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”  Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence.  He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart - Psalm 91:1-4.

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord - Romans 8:37-39

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for Your precious promises that sustained and strengthened us. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
