Cry Out To God

I cried out to God with my voice - To God with my voice; And He gave ear to me - Psalm 77:1.

God looked upon the children of Israel and delivered them from bondage when they cried out to Him. Then the children of Israel groaned because of the bondage, and they cried out; and their cry came up to God because of the bondage. So God heard their groaning, and God remembered His covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob. And God looked upon the children of Israel, and God acknowledged them - Exodus 2:23-25.

The blind man who cried out to God with faith received sight. And he cried out, saying, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”, Then those who went before warned him that he should be quiet; but he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” – Luke 18:38,39.  Then Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he received his sight, and followed Him, glorifying God. And all the people, when they saw it, gave praise to God - Luke 18:42.

Let us cry out to the Lord who hears us and does great things in our life. Their heart cried out to the Lord, “O wall of the daughter of Zion, Let tears run down like a river day and night; Give yourself no relief; Give your eyes no rest.  “Arise, cry out in the night, At the beginning of the watches; Pour out your heart like water before the face of the Lord. Lift your hands toward Him - Lamentations 2:18.19.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for hearing us as we cry out to You. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Do It In Secret

But as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, even so we speak, not as pleasing men, but God who tests our hearts - 1 Thessalonians 2:4.

Pray Secretly

But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly - Mathew 6:6.

Give Secretly

But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, that your charitable deed may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly - Matthew 6:3,4.

Fast Secretly

But you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, so that you do not appear to men to be fasting, but to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly - Matthew 6:17,18.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to pray, give and fast secretly. We thank You for Your rewards for us. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Free From sins

He Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness - by whose stripes you were healed - 1 Peter 2:24.

We all sinned and fall short of glory. For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God - Romans 3:23. All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all - Isaiah 53:6. God who knew no sin was made to be sin for us. For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him - 2 Corinthians 5:21. For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God – 1 Peter 3:18.

Jesus paid the price for our sins. He went to the cross so that we can be free of sins. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities - Isaiah 53:5. Because He poured out His soul unto death, And He was numbered with the transgressors, And He bore the sin of many - Isaiah 53:12. The blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin - 1 John 1:7. In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace - Ephesians 1:7.

Let us thank God for delivering us from the power of darkness. Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. And a slave does not abide in the hose forever, but a son abides forever. If the son sets free, we are free indeed. And whom the Son sets free is free indeed" - John 8: 34-36. And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness - Romans 6:18. He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love - Colossians 1:13.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for setting us free from all our sins. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

The Gift of God

Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift! - 2 Corinthians 9:15.

The greatest gift of Jesus

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life - John 3:16.

Eternal life

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord - Romans 6:23.

Salvation

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast - Ephesians 2:8,9.

Precious promises

Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires - 2 Peter 1:4.

All things

He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all - how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? - Romans 8:32.

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning - James 1:17.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for giving Your only begotten son as gift to save us and to give us eternal life. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

God Brought Us Peace

But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by His wounds we are healed - Isaiah 43:5.

Jesus took our punishment for sins and brought us peace. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you - John 14:27. We have peace with God through Christ. Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ - Romans 5:1. These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world - John 16:33.

The peace of God guards and rules our hearts and minds. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus - Philippians 4:6,7. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful - Colossians 3:15.

May God’s peace be always with us in all ways and at all times. Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace at all times in all ways. The Lord be with you all - 2 Thessalonians 3:16. You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You - Isaiah 26:3.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are the Prince of Peace. We thank You for giving us Your peace. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Great Things He Had Done

The Lord has done great things for us and we are glad - Psalm 126:3.

Let us praise and give glory to the Lord who had done great things for us by giving His son and yielding His life as an atonement for our sins. In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him - 1 John 4:9. He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world - 1 John 2:2.

Sins were forgiven

For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him - 2 Corinthians 5:21.

Formerly His enemies, now at peace with God

And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight - Colossians 1:21,22.

Redeemed through His blood

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace - Ephesians 1:7.

Saved by His grace

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast - Ephesians 2:8,9.

Entered into God's family

Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God - Ephesians 2:18,19.

Everlasting life

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life - John 3:16.

PRAYER: Dear, Lord, We give You all the glory. We thank You for all the great things You had done to save us. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

He Is Holy

Exalt the Lord our God, And worship at His footstool - He is holy - Psalm 99:5.

The name of our God is Holy. For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: I dwell in the high and holy place - Isaiah 57:15. Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; The whole earth is full of His glory! - Isaiah 6:3. Let us exalt and worship the Lord who is Holy. The Lord Almighty is the one you are to regard as holy, he is the one you are to fear, he is the one you are to dread - Isaiah 8:13.

Our Holy God who knew no sin was made to be sin for us to become the righteousness of God. For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God - 2 Corinthians 5:21. There is no one holy like our God. There is no one holy like the Lord; there is no one besides you; there is no Rock like our God - 1 Samuel 2:2. Who shall not fear You, O Lord, and glorify Your name? For You alone are holy - Revelation 15:4.

Let us worship our Holy God who called us with holiness. But as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy - 1 Peter 1:15,16. Worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness; tremble before him, all the earth - Psalm 96:9. Praise the Lord, O my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name - Psalm 103:1.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are the Holy God. We exalt You and worship You.  Help us to be holy as You are holy. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
