But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by His wounds we are healed - Isaiah 43:5.
Jesus took our punishment for sins
and brought us peace. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you - John 14:27. We have peace with God through Christ. Therefore, having been justified by
faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ - Romans 5:1. These
things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will
have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world - John 16:33.
The peace of God guards and rules
our hearts and minds. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and
supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and
the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and
minds through Christ Jesus - Philippians 4:6,7. And let the peace of God rule
in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful -
Colossians 3:15.
May God’s peace be always with us in all ways and at all times. Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace at all times in all ways. The Lord be with you all - 2 Thessalonians 3:16. You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You - Isaiah 26:3.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are the Prince of Peace. We thank You for giving us Your peace. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
