Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this? – Esther 4:14.
Mordecai spoke to Esther the Queen
that her coming into the palace was to deliver the Jews and timed by God for
such a time as this. She found herself in a position to rescue her people, the
Jews, from death. For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and
deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your
father’s house will perish - Esther 4:14.
Esther put her life at risk
trusting God and went to the king. Then Esther told them to reply to Mordecai:
“Go, gather all the Jews who are present in Shushan, and fast for me; neither
eat nor drink for three days, night or day. My maids and I will fast likewise.
And so I will go to the king, which is against the law; and if I perish, I
perish!” - Esther 4:15.
Esther saved the life of Jews. The Jews had light and gladness, joy and honor. And in every province and city, wherever the king’s command and decree came, the Jews had joy and gladness, a feast and a holiday - Esther 8:16, 17. God had blessed us to build His kingdom and fulfill His purpose. Let us step out by faith and expand the kingdom of God using our talents.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, We surrender
our lives to be used for Your glory. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
