Obedient Unto Death

 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross - Philippians 2:8.

Jesus’ obedience to his parents

           God who created everything obeyed his parents. Then he went down to Nazareth with them and was obedient to them - Luke 2:51.

Jesus’ obedience during his trial

          He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth; he was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before its shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth - Isaiah 53:7.

Jesus’ obedience to the point of death

          Jesus gave up his position in heaven and came to the world. He became obedient to the Father even to the death on the cross. It is the obedience of Jesus Christ to His heavenly Father that brought us salvation. I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me - John 5:30.
