Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature - Mark 16:15.
The great commission of the Lord
for us is to go and preach the gospel to every person of the world. As we go
and preach let us heal the sick, cast out demons and deliver people as God had
given us authority over all the power of enemy. And as you go, preach, saying,
‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise
the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give - Matthew
10:7-8. Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions,
and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you -
Luke 10:19.
Peter and Paul preached the
gospel boldly in the power of the Holy Spirit. Then Peter said to them,
“Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for
the remission of sins and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit”- Acts
2:38. When Peter preached, 3000 people were saved and later the number of
believers grew to 5000. I have become its servant by the commission God gave me
to present to you the word of God in its fullness - the mystery that has been
kept hidden for ages and generations, but is now disclosed to the Lord’s people
- Colossians 1: 25, 26. Let us make use of every opportunity to preach the
gospel. Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel! - 1 Corinthians 9:16.
God had given us the promise of
power and presence as we preach the gospel. But you shall receive power when
the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in
Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth - Acts 1:8.
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name
of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe
all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the
end of the age.” Amen - Matthew 28:19,20.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us
go and preach the gospel to the world with the power and authority You have
given us. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
